Forgive my ignorance, but can someone tell me how to take a screenshot in FS9? I have spent hours trying to find it in the help files and literature of MS...no luck. Thanks.:( :(

Hi, any Japanese flight simmers out there? I have a diagram of an aircraft but the details are labelled in what looks like Japanese (sorry, not sure if it's Japanese or Chinese, although I believe Japanese looks more complex?) Hi GuysJust wondering if anyone has heard of a utility that will allow you to free up some parking at an airport as you are on final, or after you land (prior to requesting taxi to gate)?Since many airports don't have enough "heavy" gate spots, most of the time I fly into an airport with a 747, I end up getting routed to GA parking, or a cargo ramp.It would be nice to force the AI aircraft out of the "heavy" gates spots so that that there is always a gate spot for you. I know that "AI Smooth" exists to help with the approach traffic, perhaps someone can find a way to use similar programming to free up gates.I have used the AFCAD editor, but I don't have time to edit each…

I just got my November issue. Unlike some other glossy mags.,this one has subjects that I feel more at home with.More of a reality,less of a dream book. For instance,there is an outstanding article on Flight Simming. Complementary,and informative it revels that this Sim thing is no game,or toy. Powered up the simulator yesterday and I was surprised to see that FS went through the scenery reset it usually does when you add or delete scenery files.I was a bit worried as I had not made any changes to any scenery files and was wondering if I had deleted some files by mistake.I then remembered that we had switched to daylight saving time early on Sunday morning and that my PC changes the internal clock automatically.Could anyone confirm that FS resets the scenery database following the DST adjustment?

Since installing the updates for CA2, the wingtip NAV lights for the DC-10-30 do not work. Any ideas on how to fix this problem???:-hmmm RoWilson

Hi all, my HD just a dump last night and wont boot anymore...I have done alot to my FS and have always backedup a bit of stuff. I was planning on creating another back soon, but I guess not soon enough. I get this error message when booting my computer:Reboot and select proper devise or insert boot media in selected boot devise and press a key.Anyway, can I just get another harddrive and make the unbootable one a slave and tranfer my fs files to the new one?...I heard that could be possible. I have alot of stuff that I cant risk loosing. Is there anything I could do? Im getting depressed about this. Yes I know, its just a computer.Thanks,Bill

Does anyone try random holds (direction from fix, fix, radial/track, direction. etc.) in FS9. How do you do the randomization? Is there any simple code for ATC instructions that could achieve this?Thanks- this is for simple holding practice for instrument rating simulated proficiency.Bruce.

Who else here is waiting for the PSS 777?? The 2002 version was my first payware addon and I remember how amazed I was at its detail compared to the default aircraft. Of course, it's all a bit different this time round as we've been spoilt with many other complex airliners, and standards have risen so much in only a few years. But for some reason I'm getting much more excited about this release than usual. I mean it's just another Boeing. I am looking for scenery of Block Island airport in Rhode Island. I need the airport to fit in with Flightzone Rhode Island payware scenery. I tried the scenry made by William Shea which is very good, but it does not fit in with the Flightzone scenery.

Been wanting to add a good Airbus into my hanger. I have it narrowed down to the new CLS and the SSW A310. Have been impressed with the CLS customer support, but not sure about SSW. The SSW panels (2D and VC) look sharper. I do realize the CLS does not have FMC, but I believe it has clickable VC. Does the SSW have a fully operational FMC and clickable VC? I am concerned about frame rates since I only have a P4-2.4GHZ processor. The LDL 767 has good fps perfromance, could I expect the same for the SSW or would it be similar to the PMDG 737? (My fps are lower with the PMDG). And finally there is a cost differential of about $14. Would appreciate any experience you could s…
