Hey everyone, I dowloaded FSCamera 1.5 last night and went to install it. One problem...The installer is entirely in German. I read the text read me, which was in english, but alittle vague, and I aborted the install. The buttons are in the right place, but it asks a question at the end of install that I can't understand of course. I E-mailed the author but have not heard back yet, so maybe someone here might know? I am sure he will get back to me, but I would like to install it sooner than later. The instructions also are for the older versions, not this new one. Thanks for any help on this. I just knew I would regret not taking German back in school! It was over 23 year…

I know this is probably a common occurance, but I couldn't find a solution:Every now and then, my mouse clicks and joystick buttons get too sensitive - things progress more than one notch at a time. Elevator trim goes 3 degrees per click, altitude in AP can only be adjusted per 1000 ft increments, altimeter can only be adjusted by 3 inches at a time. I've witnessed it on a few different AC, including the F1 172 and the DF A36.Did I hit a key accidentally? Any way to cure? I noticed today it only happened for certain instruments on the DF A36, including the altimeter, AP, and elevator trim, but not on the RXP 430 or the 3308.Thx for any help!

Can someone explain to me the difference between the FScene textures sold advertised on the FScene webpage and the FScene textures boxed and sold by FSQuality? Hello. I'm hoping someone can help with a slew problem that I'm having in FS2004.When trying to slew an aircraft (pretty much any aircraft) it will spin like crazy. This problem seems to have been slowly getting worse over time. I thought maybe it was a calibration issue with the yoke but that's not it.Once the aircraft is spinning you can tap the rudder and it it will stop. This is why I thought it might have been something with the calibration. There are times that when coming out of slew mode the aircraft will be in the air as well!It seems to me I had this problem once before and fixed it but now I have no idea how.Any help would be greatly appreciated!Thanks!

It seems my wave files that represent the waves on the shorelines and the contrails are corrupt.The waves hitting the beach are square like piano keys or chicklets and the contrails are square boxes.Is there any way to ''repair''these files without a complete installThanksMike

Hi,With some useful addons this sim is really starting to look great! Even with my old Athlon XP2100+ I got this (see attatched screenshot). Both hard- and software setting are pretty low. The combo ASV and FS Sky World/FSGenesis/UT USA/BEV really makes thing shine!Wonder how this will be on my new rig. I have an Athlon 64 3500+/GeForce 7800GT waiting at the store. Gonna pick it up next week :).Eagle

A week ago I posted a question, but got no response. So I am trying again.Because on re-occuring CTD's I re-installed FS9 and all my add-on's successfully about a month ago. Everything's working out fine and I can load and run PMDG 737-800/w, Active Sky wxRE, UT-USA, FEnvir., FDC, FSNav and have scenery max'd with no problems, but my aircraft appears without textures or will appear at times with textures that will disappears during my flights and not return. This happens with other aircraft as well and isn't consistent with every aircraft?Can anyone out there help me in figuring out why this is happening, or what I screwed up to cause this?

Hi there...Just looking for some help - not sure if the answer is obvious!! Keep trying to get a routing across atlantic (eg. EGLL - KJFK, KLAX - EGLL, EGKK - KMCO etc etc) using "high altitude airways" but flight sim doesnt seem to be able to plot any sort of useful route. Trying to really avoid using Direct GPS for realism! I know that the real world tracks across the atlantic change daily but i'd happily settle for a fixed one as long as it resembled something realistic! Not sure if there is a change I need to make to the program or any realistic flight plans out there to download???Any help much appreciated!!!

I was wondering if you can add more sounds to a sound.cfg. This is what I was thinking. I have the 757 RR sounds from two different developers. One has the APU and 757 system sound. The other doesn't. I was wondering if it is possible to copy some lines of text from one cfg to the other and copy the files to the AA757/sounds folder? I also plan to add this to my PW2037 sound.cfg if this is possible. Any info would be great.

Can somebody point me to the original zip file to get this airplane? Henry William posted some cool repaints, but no zip file name for the original airplane. I cant find it!ThanksEric

Could someone please help me with the Kittyhawk 738 - no matter what n2 value, minimum or maxed out, when I flip fuel on the engines surge to near full power before rolling back to idle. I was looking for advice from people who already own these aircraft. Which of these is more fun to fly. I am looking to step up from the standard aircraft to a faster single engine. I love playing with the instruments and also love bush flying but I can't figure out which one to spend the money on. Any assitance is appreciated.Dreamflyer

I'm not a reviewer, just an old retired USAF and GE aircraft engine maintainer but from a person that loves flight sim & 727s, this baby is a dream. The first time I seen a 727 was at Duluth, Minn in 1964 with the USAF working the F-106 and T-33 aircraft. The big 727 shot touch & goes during the weekend. It happens now and then that a side window view in a panel is blocked by a mask. It might have something to do with a VC?A long time ago I read somewhere on this forum how to fix that problem. Now I have looked for that information but I haven't been able to locate it.So, I turn to you, my fellow simmers, for some help. Hi; I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but no doubt I'll find out shortly. Now just for a change of pace I've been downloading some neat stuff from Hama's site (Japanese) mainly the QE2, his Hovercraft and Jetfoil plus an pushback truck to fool around with and take a break from flying. The QE2 is incredible, and just the thing to cruise along various coast lines and get a different perspective on the scenery details in both the default and addon sceneries. My one problem is steering these addons and if anyone has any tips to pass along it would be appreciated. Thanks Robin:-)

I wonder if anyone can assist with two problems I have encountered with downloads.The first is Hong Kong airport (vhhh2005b.zip) by Thomas Kwong where the taxiway signs are in the middle of the taxiways and verges, also the ships are missing. I have tried to contact Thomas but without success.The other problem is Michael Magners Gibralter airport (gibraltar2004.zip) which does not show taxiways or markings, but these are displayed in the Afcad program: AI aircraft also follow the correct route. Again I have tried to locate Michael but the E-Mail address appears to be incorrect.Any answers to my queries would be appreciated.Many ThanksBill Watkins.
