Hi all!I just found this thread on francesim.com. I haven't seen those screenshots before. Does anyone know which sim this is? The textures don't look that good in my opinion, but the autogen is pretty sweet. If you have downloaded my CYYG scenery please be advised that we discovered a small bug with the AFCAD file that makes AI planes taxi to rwy 28 - when winds are favorable for that rwy - and sit there without taking off. I missed a holdshort point but the problem is fixed now. I will be uploading a fix very soon.Thanks,Adam

Need some help. Out of nowhere now if I select any location other than the default Seattle, My flight sim will shut down at about 57% loading terrain. I've been flying for years and no problem. Now, all of a sudden, I can't go anywhere to fly....Any thoughts?? Trash the fs9.cfg and let it rebuild???Thanks for any helpBlind Lemon

I'm having a problem that I have never seen before. I'm getting random terrain changes. Meaning, I'll see water one minute and then it will switch to land, and so on. Sometimes there are buildings sitting in water and then I will change the view and often it will 'repair' and become a land texture again. I'm really stumped by this one.I've tried installing the latest video drivers for my GeForce as well as a complete reinstall of FS. No add-ons, even all default settings and 640x480 and I'm seeing this.Is it possible something was corrupt with my previous install that wasn't completely removed? Hello,I had to rebuild my Flight Sim Computer (too many addons/mesh/sceneries). It is now at the point that I have my basic addons installed. I have also installed both Ultimate Terrain USA and Ultimate Terrain Canada. My load times are pretty good now and frame rates are pegged at 30fps.As a Galaxy member at FSgenisis, I have all of their mesh products.Can someone please explain what mesh addons to install that are necessary to enhance my sim experience? Do I need them all? I fly both GA (at about 7000 ft) and longer haul flights with a 747 and 767 at about FL330. I have a fast system that is using two display adapters in SLI mode and I have about 35 Gigs available for …

I see this takes a lot of the memory usage. I also have multiples of this listed in the process window. Would this have a adverse effect of FS performance?Thanks,Scott

Does anyone have any of the PC Aviator Mega Scenery titles? My concern is regarding the seasonal textures. I understand the east coast titles do not contain textures for fall and spring, but do have snow covered winter textures. I have the complete set of FScene textures for the U.S. and have been thinking about getting the Mega titles for the added detail. Is the lack of fall and spring that noticeable to realism? I understand they are not needed out west in California since there's little variation among seasons. Thanks. Regards, Tom

I'm a 2D panel with wing views lover. I'm considering the Flight1 MD80, but I can't figure out from the photos whether it has wingviews in the 2D panel mode. Also, how about the CLS A300-600?Lee

I not sure if this should fall totally under hardware discussions.My question is I have a CH products setup Yoke/rudders etc and my Saitek X45. Since I got the cH stuff I have not used my X45; which means I haven't flown any helos and a while and I want to be able to do that too. So apart from setting a profile up on the X45. Can I just select the x45 in FS9 and make button/axis assignments that are specific to the X45? And won't interfere with my CH product settings?I know that I can setup a profile on either controller setup, but I'm more concerned with the axis assignments

Hello!I'm busy creating a Access database where you can store some important data about flightplans. Here's my request. Where or in which fs9 file can I find airport information like available runways, their ILS frequencies, runway heading, altitude, COM frequencies, additional navaids etc. and how to decompile them in a way that I can import them into an Access database.I would really be thankful if here in this forum is the one or other programmer who can support me with this informations!Mick!

Lets say, I have filed a IFR flight plan from Chicago to Pittsburgh. About 1/2 way there, I change my mind and want to go to Cleveland. I want to know if this is possible within FS9? When I try to do this, it seems as if FS9 wants me to pick a new starting airport. I do not want to do this, I want to change my plan while in the air. I want ATC to understand my request and give me new routing. Hope you can understand my question.Thanks,Jim

Hi all,I just had to comment on the this airplane and see if anyone agrees. I have been flying this 310 for two years now and it continues to be one of the best airplanes in my fleet. Though it isn't a new product, the quality is right up there close to most current releases in my opinion. This airplane seems to be spot-on in terms of the flight model. The instruments in the VC are very sharp and smooth. The airplane is very easy on frame rates, the external model is detailed, and the sounds are beautiful.
