Several sound issues have been bugging me for a long time.In the 'Cathy Pacific' 744 video, the captain and first officer have headsets with their opposing headphone parked on the side of their heads so that they can hear each other and the connected ear is listening to ATC.In our simulations you hear everything through the same speakers, whether they are headphones or speaker's. Five questions about this new title1) In the info I can read that it covers an area of 145 * 145 nm but it is also stated 145 * 145 miles. Which is it ? Nm is not the same as mile.2) Is the charts offered in the full version the same as those delivered in the first SC Megascenery title?3) It says we get day and night scenery. What about the seasons?Do we get all four seasons? Or maybe there is no four different sceneries in real world California?4) Does this greater scenery area covers the whole areas covered by the bundled charts?5) If I already have the first SC Megascenery title is it well invested money to get the new V2 upgrade?

I see that the FMS module for the MDMax MD80 has been released. Not only that, but it boasts compatibility with JCA MD80's which are also included in the full version. Even though I got the F1 Super 80 a few days ago (mind you, this is quite reminiscent of last year, when LAGO and MDMax MD's were released within a couple of days), an EFIS/FMS version still sounds tempting to me. But 60 euros for the full package?? :-eekMiltos

I am a bit confused about landclass. When a airport scenery has landclass is the landclass supposed to go above or below the airport in the scenery list?PS: I did look at my other landclass entries, but some are above the airport and some are below the airport in the list.

Wow, I was landing in central France in my C310. Noticed that the VSI started going wild. Then noticed the air speed indicator was low. Heard a low tone in the background. Holy cow, I'am stalling. Pushed the throttles to the max. Hardest thing to do was push the nose down that low to the ground. Made it though.WhewJimCYWG

Could someone please explain the steep turn procedure because i can pass it ok in the lesson, but once im into the checkride on flight simulator 2002 i seem to fail everytime, ive got no problem on the taking off or normal turn, but the steep turn i dont seem to be able to do in thr checkridethanksmike

I've been trying to get in touch with Bill Lyons and have had no luck so far. Maybe someone here can help me. I have his collection of Cubs. They are really great. But I can't start from cold & dark. Using the readme from Aerodesigns A318 base pack, I need to register "A320.gau" with FSUIPC using the provided registration key. I do so, apparently successfully, but FS9.exe generate the following error when I try and use the plane:"Flight Simulator was unable to load some aircraft or software. You can continue using Filght Simulator but this aircraft or software will be disabled.File: GAUGESA320.GAU"I'using FS v9.1 and the latest and greatest version of FSUIPC. I have patiently been waiting for the boxed version of Ultimate Terrain USA and have made several posts in the past as to when it will be out. In both past posts, I believe someone from Flight1 said they were working on it and it would only be a few weeks. My, these are mightly long weeks. Anyone have an update on this?

I just recently reinstalled FS9. From a base install the first thing I did was load up ProjectAI so I was flying with some real airlines. I was starting to do some practice for the upcomming RTW race and someone suggested I try out the Avanti. I downloaded the freeware version from the forums and installed it.Whenever I try to select the Avanti it always gives me errors saying it can't load alot of the gauges. Though when the plane does finaly load the cockpit looks fine. It will usualy run well for maybe a minute or so and then either the computer will spontaniously restart or the rendered simulation will freeze. I say it that way because I can still press S and ch…

This is really starting to drive me crazy. I know I'm not the only person who would like luminous gauges for the default Baron 58. I have looked everywhere I can think of looking. Even tried the modified gauges from fs2002, didn't work, very strange results. I'm sure I could try to recode the gauges myself but if someone has already fixed the problem... Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Boy there is a lot to know and I am just scratching the surface. I guess this is no big one because I will probably have to live with it. My computer will stop while fling and you can see the hard drive working but it is frozen. after a minute it resumes. sometimes shorter. When I am on the grounf the airport goes white as do the aircraft and it will run for sometimes 30 seconds before resuming. I have an AMD64 bit, ATI Radeon 9600-128mb128bit dual channel memory, over 1GB in RAM DDR SDRAMat 400 mhz.Sometimes I think the issue is the Logitech digital Extrem stick. Okay...so my ATR does not work anymore since I uninstalled FS2Crew....as usual you computer savvy folks have made it impossible to uninstall a program from the proper Windows menu...If you can't allow us to uninstall the program, then don't offer the program...what a waste of money this was...I just want to fly my ATR, but now I can't because it will not uninstall properly. I do not have 10 hours to sit around and try and learn a whole new system of starting up my aircraft to use your program. So, I tried to uninstall, but now won't work at all. Nice. I am active in the VA community, and I will NOT recommend your program to anyone.

My daughter wants to get her husband, a licensed Hot Air Balloon pilot, some kind of Sim for Christmas. Does anyone know if there is an add-on for FS9 that would allow realistic hot Air Ballooning?

I downloaded Shehryar Ansari's scenery for KCLE. There were 3 files needed to update FS9.I installed per instructions however, FS9 fails to reconize the new scenery. I've installed Gary Widups scenery and have had no problems however, I have noticed that with Gary's updates there is a scenery.dat file with each airport. This is missing with the KCLE update.TIA for the help.
