FS2CREW: PMDG 737 NGXu

  1. Started by Cyrille de Lattre,

Good morning, I am running P3DV4.5, just upgraded from this morning, started a flight with NGXU, all was working perfectly, until I call for the before taxi checklist, then for any given reason my FO decided to go on semi strike, he was obeying to every order but never replied to me, doing the audio test gives me a silence, while I still can hear the cabin voices, all other voices in fact as well as sounds, but yet no FO. Did it happen already, and any one has an idea? I have not yet restarted my flight, I am in the middle of it, so obviously I will see if it comes back after restarting, but anyway... Thanks a lot Cyrille de LATTRE

Hey, Just wanted to check in anyone else has experienced this: When using the "match speed" command, I've had the copilot's speed input runaway every time I've tried it so far. The copilot starts adjusting the MCP speed in the correct direction, slows down as he's getting close, and then suddenly continues full speed to the stop... Using SOP1. Will check later if this is repeatable, but it happened 3 times in a single flight today.

Hi, when on ground to disconnect external power and air conditioning unit I don't get an answer to "Cockpit to ground" anymore. But I can tell to disconnect, that works. Of course are "Service Interphone" on and "SVC" set as in the NGX. Tested only in SOP1 Voice control. Can you solve the issue? Greetings, Andreas

Hello, I completed my first flight with fs2crew NGXu (another attempt ended up with a computer crash on approach). I noticed two things using SOP1 and I don't know if they are bugs or I'm making a mistake (I have been using FS2Crew since it's first release and purchased all the 737 products). The first issue is when I'm taxing to the runway the cabin crew does not let me know the cabin is secured. The FO warn me of the situation during the takeoff start. The second is with the transponder, despite asking for ASD-X (which should be default on in my opinion), I keep finding my transponder switched off.

Hello, Byran! first of all thanks again for the new software of the PMDG NGXu. But I found a small problem. In the Voice SOP2 you can give the command "SET DOME LIGHT...". Now the command doesn't exactly happen the way you give it. I would like to describe it: The switch is set to Off (middle). If you give the command "SET DOME LIGHT On", the switch goes to DIM (above). But if you say the command "SET DOME LIGHT Off", the switch goes briefly to "Off" (middle) and then further to "BRT" (bottom). If you say "SET DOME LIGHT Off" again, nothing happens anymore. Only when you give command "SET DOME LIGHT On" again, the switch goes to "Off" as you wanted it …

Hi Bryan, as mentioned on Facebook during the Landing Checklist in SOP3 the FS2Crew does not recognise the landing lights being on. I did two approaches where I observed said behaviour in an aircraft equipped with LED lights without pulse. I might have an idea why this is: when I set up my hardware on FSUIPC I had to change the value for the custom control that controls the landing lights. Whilst in the NGX the value would simple switch on the fixed landing lights, the same value on the NGXu would, in an aircraft equipped with, only switch on the pulse. In an aircraft without pulse the value would simple do nothing. I‘ll do a test run now and let you k…

  7. I found the PDF beside the Installer of Fs2Crew NGXu... what is this important info? Is it related to the "brake every second until version 1.4" workaround? Dont want to miss anything important! Thank you!

I just get a try with the NGXu Failures module, When I try the Engine fire one, I wanted to annance "Engine fire or.... MEMORY ITEMS" but I just said it as "Eng....Checklist memory items" then the FO just go for the full checklist as I annonced the "Eng...checklist" without doing any mem item and can't be stoped. I tried the "Cancel last command" but it doesn't work. In real training for 737, get a wrong checklist is a likely event, Normally we can catch it by the "condition" lines, so cancel and change a NNC is also something that happens. It's would be great in FS2C to have a phrase like "cancel the checklist" "stop the checklist" etc. to stop the wrong the c…

Hi, First of all, thank you FS2Crew for this update, it was really needed. 🙂 Maybe this question has been answered before. Is there a list of Airlines and SOPs so we can choose SOP based on the airline we fly, to do it more realistically?

Hi byork, I know I asked it yesterday & you quoted me, but the post is removed & I can't see your answer. Can the FO set: NAV 1/2 & NAV 1/2 standby frequency's & swap them? Set Radio 1/2 & Radio 1/2 standby frequencies & swap them? Set both Course knobs? /Thank you
