I'm using SOP 2. Just wondering if anyone else is experiencing these 2 issues. Upon gate arrival and shutting down #2 engine, the FO always announces "we don't have a power source". I always thought that this was an information message reminding me to turn it on. I used it as a clue that the ground power light was about to come on. At that point, I look up to that panel (usually just in time to see the gnd pwr light come on) and flip the switch. I just happened to be looking at the ground power switch when he said that on my last flight and I noticed that he is actually flipping the ground power switch when he tells me that we don't have a power source. The ground p…

Hi, I just noticed in SOP1, when 2nd engine (normally ENG1) started, FO will select SYS on Lower DU and start overhead flow Right after the starter cutout, meanwhile engine is still accelerating to idle. In our company (And boeing's FCOM), engine start is ended after the start limit EGT line (725C) disappear (We will call "Engine stable", but not by FCOM). It's about 5 second after start cutout. So I still need to monitor the OIL PRESS on lower DU at that time, thus the current setting is a little bit annoying. Not a big deal, but if it could be fixed.

How can I get speech recognition to do better with just a single word? In the shutdown checklist, the FO challenges "Flaps?" and my response is "up" However... I cannot for the life of me get Windows to recognize me saying "up". It always thinks I said "out". It has no problems when I say "flaps up" but with up by itself I get no 0% success. I even tried "checked and set" and the FO does not accept that.

I am trying to understand how the GPU is disconnected. When I initially got FS2Crew for the NGXu, I called for the ground crew to disconnect the GPU right after the FO connects the buses to the APU. But it never got disconnected. Then I read in the manual that the GPU can’t be disconnected until the chocks are released when the countdown timer gets to 0 minutes. But when I get to the 0 minute point, the chocks don’t disconnect. I know I can use the FMC to manually disconnect the GPU, but can somebody please explain specifically the steps to verbally get the ground crew to do it? Thanks.

Hi, post it in the correct section. The old issue still there..🤔 Hi all 😉 I have this problem too. But I never understood how it can happen. 25 minutes becomes about 30 or more Even if I launch fs2crew immediately and then, without touching anything, I check the time: already the first minute is longer. I have recently updated to ngxu version and the issue is still there (SOP 2) Really, I have no idea how it can happen. The only idea I have is that my processor is poor for p3d, i know 😞 (i7- 6700HQ @ 2.60Ghz) and struggles to keep the correct time 🥶 (Ram 16gb) Anyway ..you Bryan should tell us why it happens...☺️ In the meantime, the only sugges…

Hi Bryan SOP 1 in use with Version 1.3 During the Before Start Procedure page 13 of the SOP 1 tutorial, the FO should set the Lower DU to 'Engine' on my system this hasn't happened with versions 1.2 or 1.3 - the lower DU remains blank.

Hi All, I have a problem where despite selecting ASDE-X as "ON" in the departure briefing and choosing "ASDE-X = transponder ALT OFF" in the config, it stays off. If I manually set it to ALT OFF during pushback (for example), it gets switched off again. If I select "ASDE-X = transponder TA/RA" in the config, it works as desired. The problem does not exist for landing, as it's well turned to ALT OFF during the "clean up" actions. Looking forward to your feedback! Thanks & Krgds, Mike

Goodday captains and FS2Crew team, Will the FS2Crew edition for the NGXu be compatible with the (soon to be released) 737-600/-700 expansion pack? Straight out the box or will FS2Crew require an update? Greetings, Erik

I'm using SOP 2 with button control. I've followed the tutorial since I got the product earlier this week but I've been doing APU at the gate. Last night and today I've flown about 4 legs and in the approach briefing setup I choose GPU and AC cart. Now before you pull into the gate you do the lights and door command which you turn off the FDs, weather radar etc and the FO will turn off the taxi lights and switch over to APU if you're using that but obviously I have no APU running because I want to use the GPU cart. He says no power or whatever which is what it says in the manual if there is no APU or GPU running, so I pull into the gate with GSX, set the brakes and via th…

Hello, With version 1.3 software have still troubles recognizing 'on' 'auto' 'rto' and few others words during checklists. It still recognize those as arm/arm off. Also can you please add support for non-native english speaking users or at least fix this issues so I could stop saying 'set and checked' 80% of the time. And please update manual.

Hi Bryan, I'm wondering if it possible to delete the start switches item from the normal checklist for a/c with the auto option installed. Attached is a normal checklist from a company with the auto option, you can have a look on the landing checklist (same for the before taxi checklist). Thanks! Almog

I bought this today. It is my 1st FS2Crew package. I'm learning. I'm following the tutorial on my first flight, and while playing around in cruise I did the cruise PA announcement. I then pressed the SEC button on the primary display in an attempt to close the secondary display. The 2nd display flashes, but it does not close. I tried right clicking on it and selecting close window, but that does not work either. Has anyone else seen this? I've got 803 more miles to go looking at the PA announcement screen. 😠 Update: I slid the second display panel off the left side of the screen with just enough showing to allow me to grab it when I needed it. At some point shortly a…

Hi ive been using Fs2crew for many years and have had great experiences up until now. I used to fly SOP3 (with a lowcost airline in europe) on the NGX back on windows 8. Hundreds of fault free flying. However SOP3 on the NGXu is giving me one small problem. The interface just cannot recogise me saying ON its always ARM 🤣 I am a UK user and speak very clear English it just refuses to recognise me. Ive even tried saying it like an american, still nothing. Still always "ARM". On SOP3 this command is imperative and is the only allowed response for a lot of checklist items. This new found non understanding has been since US English was required to me set on my PC for FS2…

Hi Bryan, I was wondering if the following behaviour is intended: During his descent flow, the F/O always switches the minimums selector from RADIO to BARO on the EFIS panel. I'm using SOP1 and prior to descent I set the selector to RADIO, enter the DH on FS2Crew's APP page, but once I call "Let's start setting up for the descent", the F/O switches back to BARO. I'm pretty sure this was not the case in the NGX version, and according to page 22 of the NGXu SOP1 Tutorial, the F/O should leave this switch alone, shouldn't he? No big deal at all, I just wanted to check if that's on purpose or if I missed something. Thanks and best regards, Stefan

Hi Byork, since I have updated to version 1.2 my copilot seems to be a bit bewildered. On the configuration page a I have set FO POWER UP PROCEDURE: YES. And here is my problem. He does the procedure but only after he has finished the walk around. That leaves me a while particularly during the night time in a cold and foremost dark cockpit. In the previous version, the one for the NGX he did the electrical stuff and then left the cockpit for the walk around. Is this new behavior intended? Thanx in advance Christian Schulz

I just did a flight to ZPPP/KMG, it seems my FO set LAND ALT indicator to 6900' when doing pre-flight procedure. But, in FCOMv1 SP.2. Automatic pressurization Control - Landing Airport Elevation Above 6000 Feet but 8400 Feet and Below. The procedure should be: set 6000' prior to takeoff, and set actual landing field elevation at initial descent. Hope this SP get added, thanks.

The FO selects the pitot heat to ON although it is set to AUTO when doing the before taxi procedure on SOP 1. Also on engine start procedure, the FO leaves the lower DU blank and not on the engine page.

Although I followed the steps provided in the SOP2 tutorial I still get the "No Audio Link" error message in my Ground Connection options. I am running on the latest version of FS2Crew for the NGXu. What might I have been doing wrong? Any idea(s)? Thanks, Hans

Bryan, I forgot to do the controls check before the before taxi checklist a couple of times. Each time I said "hold the checklist", but got no response from the FO. He stopped the checklist, but simply went quiet. I tried doing the controls check as usual, but he didn't respond to any of the calls. When I tell him to resume the checklist, he replies, "roger...check.. check... check... roger..." all at once. It would seem that he did properly hold and resume the checklist as well as properly answered the controls check commands. The audio clips seem to start getting queued when the hold command is issued, and then all of them get played back at once after the resume c…

In the SOP2 tutorial it is mentioned that the pre-flight events are optional. (I solely so far am using button control). This makes me wonder with what FS2Crew checklist one should start when the 737 NGXu has been started in the default panel state where the engines are already running? Should I just run all checklists and skip those items that are already in an active state? Your ideas, hints, advices etc. are highly appreciated. Thanks a bunch
