Hello, With latest update SOP3 ten checks doesn't work for Climb/Descent - The FO announces Altimeteres passing FL330 for some reason.

I recently purchased the PMDG 737NGXu and have it installed in P3D V5, I also installed the correct version of FS2Crew for the same. When I go thru the startup process, I run into a problem before takeoff. The hydraulics are not working properly. On the lower overhead panel, the Low Pressure light is on for Flt Control A and the Feel Diff Pressure light is also lit up. My rudder pedals don't work and my Pilot yoke only works sporadically. The landing gear will not raise either. On the warning panel, the Flt Cont light is lit. Can anyone help please. Thank you

  3. Hi Bryan, In addition to my remarks re:center fuel tank pumps I also have a malfunction with the engine start switches ever since installing FS2Crew 4.1. On all the approaches i did in P3Dv5HF2 and PMDG's 737NGXu after installing this latest version, the first officer simply doesn.t switch the engine start switches to continuous after flaps are set to 15, landing gear is down and the spoilers are armed. As with the central fuel pumps, this works perfectly in P3Dv4.5HF2. Pilot error? Don't know, what might I have done wrong? FYI, all settings in FS2Crew P3Dv5 are the same as in FS2Crew P3Dv4.5 as are the sim's settings as well. Do you have any ideas what might go wron…

  9. Hi guys, Been trying to sort this out all week, can't find info here on the forum. Here's the situation: I would like to assign a joystick button to 'softmute' (proppeller sync on/off) to the same key as the ptt on Vatsim. So far so good. But, I also would like to use a Joystick button to open the Secondary Panel, which also needs to be linked to Propeller sync (on/off) according to the manual. I had that setup in FSX:SE until recently, but can't find a solution in the manuals. What am I missing here? Grtz., Hans

Flying the PMDG 737NGXu and during pushback (using UGCX) I asked the FO to start engine 2 - He immediately said "Oil pressure" then "Starter Cutout" then "Engine Stable". N2 is not even to 10 % and he has said everything he normally says during the start up process. This happened twice. Then during the start of engine 1 - same issue with the timing of his comments but the start up stops due to lack of air pressure. The APU was turned off (when this happened I am not sure) so I was faced with either a cross bleed start (which I have never done) or a restart of the APU. Any ideas?

  11. Hi Bryan - I have been using FS2C v1.4 NGXu with some success - most commands reliably recognized. But monitoring the green window, I realize recognizer still struggles with the voice comm and nav frequency setting commands. - I have tried training specific words, but wonder: should be training "comm" to be spelled "com" or "comm" for FS2C - or does it matter ? Should I be training single digits like "two" to be recognized as "two" or "2" - or does it matter ? - Is there any issue in v 1.4 with the "set xxx.xx in comm 2" command ? It seems to always set the standby window. Chuck O

I tried out voice control for the first time last night after exclusively using button control, and while following the SOP2 tutorial I could not get it to recognize one callout. The cruse callout, "Maintaining flight level 380 on standard" would not work. It would always pick it up as "maintaining flight level three eight zero control" or as "maintaining flight level three eight zero one three" if enunciated very particularly. I've already gone through the training in Windows. I even opened up notepad and turned on dictation and said it. Windows dictated "maintaining flight level 380 on standard" every single time. No matter how clear or muddled I made my enunciati…

  14. I've been using Button Control for many years but decided to use Voice Control. I've done the training of my voice (speech recognition) and FS2Crew sees that we're in Audio mode. When I try to set up Config, I get a RED "Interface Voice Control - Lock". I'm not sure how to proceed. I'm sure it's easy but please bear with me as I find it confusing.

Hi Bryan/Manuel, Ever so often the marshaller's POV angle is not being saved. At unpredictable times this angle option is being reset to "very close" for no apparent reason. This happens with all the PMDG 737 NGXu series. Am I doing something wrong, I wonder? Best regards, Hans

Is there a possibility of making the FO's initial request of "would you like to release the cabin?" a configuration option? Possible choices being say "10000 feet", "at cruise", or "Off". My reasoning is that I typically fly SWA flights when I'm using the NGXu, and from my experience they don't turn off the seat belt signs until reaching cruise - so I'm always saying "no" when he asks around 10000 feet and then kind of feel bad for him when he replies with his rather sheepish "ok" lol. I do usually reply "yes" when he asks again within 1000 feet of cruise, unless I'm in turbulence or some other condition which would preclude turning the signs off.

I've installed FS2Crew alongside my iFly 737 in FSX, it loads up ok but I can't get the volume button on the fs2crew taskbar to stay "On" when clicked. I assume this is also why the green text disply strap is also not showing when I click the "DSP" button. I'm guessing it has something to do with language selection in windows 10, I changed the language from English UK to English United States but that made no difference and it keeps defaulting back to English UK anyway when I re boot the pc. I am in England by the way. Any help appreciated? Thanks.

As you all know some airlines have specific procedures for the light usage. I was thinking that it could be an option for the retractable landing lights to put them on by us instead of the F/O. And something it could be done for the SOP3 is, when you say cleared the F/O would set the retractable and the taxi lights on. This is a good option for those especific SOP.

Hi there! I really love FS2Crew NGX/NGXu! Since I changed my airline to Ryanair I've been using SOP3 procedures and have some doubts and questions: #1 I follow exactly the instructions but FO speaks AFTER TAKEOFF CHECKLIST: "FO: After takeoff checklist - Air conditioning and pressurisation... SET ALTIMETERS!" ... "CPT: Flight level 380 set" ... "FO: Flight level 380 checked - after takeoff checklist complete". instead of continuing AFTER TAKEOFF CHECKLIST. How to do it correctly? I use key phrase (Flight level XXX set). #2 When should we call after takeoff checklist when we have high transition altitude (eg. 10000') and we are approve…

Here's an issue I have with the voice control... it rarely works for me when I'm in the sim. My computer's voice recognition is trained to recognize my voice. However, I think the problem is the extra sounds from the engines and other simulated cockpit fans in the sim and my computer microphone is picking up those sounds. When I have other windows open, such as vPilot, and have that window selected no sound from the sim is active through my computer speakers. It is at that point that the speech recognition accuracy gets significantly better and FS2Crew works as designed. Does anyone have any suggestions that will help?

  25. Good Afternoon, Im having a number of issues since update. I cannot seem to give commands such as "Start APU" or "Set Engine Anti On/Off" It is not recognizing it in the green box, instead picking up all sorts of different words. I am English - UK Speaker. Remained on English US initially and it was present then, now also switched to English - UK and same. I have not changed the pace or diction of the requests, they are the same I have been using for the past 4 years or so with FS2CREW. Anyone else experiencing this at all? Regards Chris
