FS2CREW: PMDG 737 NGXu

  1. Hello, After doing the RTFM for both FS2Crew and PMDG, I was wondering if there is a setting that I am missing regarding the landing lights activating above 10K. Shortly after descending through the transition level (FL180) and pressing STD, the FO turns on the landing lights. I see the orange 10K/TL procedure occurring in the window. I have verified that the option is set to 10K in the PMDG options. I don't see the issue in the 777 or 747. P3D v5.2.22 Thanks in advance, Donnie

Good afternoon, I recently installed the FS2Crew All Access Pack for P3D V5 and I am having issues with my product. I already set my buttons for Autofeather, Propeller sync, and Alternate Static Source in the P3D settings area. When I push those buttons on my NGXu, nothing is showing up. Am I missing something here? Looking forward to some help!

Is the FO supposed to turn on their F/D as part of their preflight flow? If I let the preflight events run normally, the FO never turns on their F/D, and I have to do it manually after doing the Before Start Checklist.

Hi Bryan, In FS2Crew v4.1 I ran into a small issue. While using SOP2/Buttons the FO switches off the center fuel tank pumps right after I did switch them to on. This only happens the first time that I switch those pumps on. This didn't happen in previous FS2Crew versions. I may have overseen a setting, but so far I wasn't able to find out which one. Do you have any idea how I can prevent my FO from putting his fingers on the center fuel pump switches? Thanks, Hans

Hi folks, yesterday I bought the FS2 Crew for my PMDG 737NGXu. When I studied the appropriate tutorials I noticed a contradiction between the description and the configuration screen of the FS2 crew. Where is the "EGPWS"? I cannot choose the callouts! Do you have an idea about it? I will appreciate any comments on this subject. Thank you in advance. cheers Bernd Schwarz

  7. Hello, In SOP3, the "500 continue" call on approach should happen at 500ft AAL not RA. That means it should happen at the beginning of the amber bar in the Landing Altitude Reference bar in the altimeter and not when the radio altimeter reads 500ft. Is there a chance to get this fixed or is there a sim limitation? Thanks!

Hello, Is there any way to change a trigger phrase or even a procedure? I use SOP3 and some of the callouts are a bit outdated. Thanks

Hi, This is probably something I am doing wrong: after the landing rollout I'm calling 'ok to clean up' and he does the flow, but doesn't retract the flaps...? Also, how do I engage a mode to do base training? (Circuits) Finally, with auto ignition he is setting the switch to cont for takeoff, the FCOM says this should be left in auto.

Hi, I think that FS2Crew PMDG 737NGXu is really missing the departure time pause feature from previous versions. I am flying online so sometimes there is a delay and for example the FS2Crew automatically disconnects the GPU when reaching the departure time, which is really annoying. Would you please consider restoring this feature? 🙂

  12. Hi all, hi FS2Crew, first, I am happy to have a virtual FO on board. Sometimes he/she make weird things. 1. On multiple legs when starting engines again, sometimes one engine generator will not be connected. No problem after that, when doing it manually. 2. "Gear down" does not work from the second leg on. Doing it manually (and of course setting start switched to CONT) will do no harm for the following flows and flights. 3. When approaching TL, the FO resets the altimeter. That is completely not what I want him to do, because it is set wrong most of the time!! For example, when cleared to an altitude, I set the QNH accordingly. When passing the…

Hi, I have a quick question - what does FO exactly do when we enable FO PRELIM PROC or FO PREFLIGHT PROC. According to RYR SOP during Preflight Procedure PM (= FO) checks Oxygen mask, set EFIS, Clock, Display select panel, makes GPWS, etc. (I suppose only Oxygen mask test and GPWS test can be simulated) Preliminary Flight Deck Procedure is to be done by PF (= CPT). I mean which one should be enabled so CPT follows his own RYR flows and FO his own ones to get the most realistic immersion 🙂

Bryan, If I select 'GPU & AC Cart' in the approach brief settings, the AC cart never arrives at the gate. I had been using just GPU for a while and I decided to pick the option for both out of the blue a few flights ago. I've done 3 flights with it set now, and I haven't seen the cart once. The GPU always works. Is there a PMDG option somewhere that I need to change? I looked and didn't find one, but I might have missed a menu page somewhere. Thanks!

I have noticed that when the first officer doing his before start checks he always sets the trim different from what the FMC is calling for. The V Speeds are correct so I am not sure why this data isn't matching.

Hi Bryan, Hope you had a nice Christmas.I am starting to get a master caution hydraulics problem after engine start in icing conditions, first time it happened i thought is was just a hiccup,so i restarted the flight to check and it happened again after engine start.I dont touch anything manually except setting up the FMC just let the FO go with his flows.Failures are disabled in the aircraft and i have never had this issue before in icing conditions, had it twice today, nothing has been changed only the minor update for the NGXu.Hope you can shed some light on this. With Thanks Gary Jones. P3Dv4.5.

Hi, I am flying a lot from the right hand seat and while there is not much difference when it comes to flying and doing checklists however it would be a great addition to be able to choose whether CPT is the PF or the FO is. So when the FO is the pilot flying then the "virtual CPT" would set his side of the FMC to the Legs page during pre-flight instead of manipulating the Right FMC all the time. I understand the concept of us users being the CPT all the time however it would be great to have an option to change that to the left hand seat rather than right hand seat. Would it be possible? Kind regards, Balint

Hello I am using button control of v1.8 which I installed this morning. After shutdown the pre-flight is still stuck at 0 and hasn't reset ready for the next sector. Clicking on Run Preflight Events does nothing and I cannot see a way to reset this back to 25 minutes. Edit: Also the PA messages don't reset either. Jonathan

Hello, Anti icing conditions during takeoff: Button, SPO2 During Takeoff checks i choose for FS2Crew we need Engine and Wing Antiicing to on. During the after start flow the FO set Wing- and engine antiicing to on. After Takeoff the FO set Wing AI to Off - i am climbing through fog and clouds in icing conditions. so you have to repair please: On Ground Wing AI is not to use in a 737 and after takeoff when the packs go on, the Wing AI should be set. thanks, thomas

  20. SOP 2 has "Rudder and Aileron Trim - FREE AND ZERO" as part of the Before Start checklist. But the FO doesn't pressurize the hydraulics until after the checklist is complete, so I'm not sure how to actually check that the aileron trim is free. Am I missing something?

Normally after the Before Start checklist, at T minus 5 minutes, the FO will ask "Would you like to turn on the APU?". If you do not do the Before Start checklist prior to then, he doesn't ever ask. If you do do the Before Start checklist later, you can say "Yes please" without him asking, and he will turn on the APU, but you have to read his mind to know that's what he wants. In addition, if you delay too long before saying "Yes please", he will pull the ground power prior to the APU being on the busses, resulting in the dreaded battery power situation. My suggestions are: 1) Have the FO ask "Would you like to turn on the APU?" immediately after finishin…

Hello, three minutes after landing the co says "three minutes". So i park the plane on stand or gate. I call "Lights and doors" the Co calls back, i hear the info for the crew, the co set APU to on. but then nothing after this are fine. i switch off the engines, i switch off the anticollision lights. also off the seatbelt signs. so i call the parking check and i get only "standbye" i can wait for more then hundred years, the co did nothing more. only i hear "standbye" when i call the parking check. FS2 Crew is broken at this stage. so i switch off the pumps manual, and go on. i am using the last version. with 5.1 thomas
