FS2CREW: FLIGHT SIM LABS AIRBUS

  1. Started by disco79stu,

Just wondering, is there a way to define/save the default position and size of the main and secondary window/panel? I usually start with a fresh scenario every time I fly and right now I then always have to resize and move the panels to my liking... BR Stu

Hi everyone. I would like to know if I only found this bug or not. During the first flight of the day, "Thrust Set" and "V1" are correctly said, but in subsequent flights the latter are no longer reproduced. Am I wrong about procedures?

Hi Bryan, Since updating to the released V1.1, the PM doesn't call out transition altitude anymore - even though it's set on the departure / approach briefing? Also, the 1000 feet above approach keeps changing back to no each time I open the sim. Thanks John

Hey Bryan just bought your FS Labs software today and I must say I’m very impressed job well done. My question is I’ve been reading through the manual and I can’t seem to find the setting where the FO retracts flaps after landing. It just goes to after landing check list but the FO is not retracting the flaps. I’m using button control with P3D v 4.5 thanks

Hi, is it possible to change the order of commands/actions with button control? Reason I'm asking is that I had several occasions where I needed a) flaps 1 before the approach checklist oder b) minimum/continue callout was earlier than flaps full..... I assume in voice control you would just say "flaps one" before "approach checklist".... Stu

Hey there, Did two flights now where this occurred. When it happened on the first flight, I just assumed I did something wrong, but now that it occurred on the second flight, I figured I'd report it. I don't think the PM is moving the transponder to ATC in their after start flow. I only say this because it happened twice now, and I only catch it because I run the "below the line" checklist for "before take off checklist," and the PM doesn't switch the transponder to TA/RA. Or maybe he is switching it to TA/RA, but it doesn't show up because the other transponder button doesn't move from STBY to ATC. Wondering if anyone can confirm? Either I'm imagini…

I have a stupid question. I’m using the button version of fs2crew for the FSLabs ‘Bus (which I’m lovin’ by the way) and when i run thru the approach checklist, the FO always reads back a different baro reference than what i have set. Currently my baro is set to 1016.....and it’s the same in the approach settings in my MCDU.......but for some reason the FO states it’s 1017. What am i missing?

Don‘t know if it‘s written down by airbus but if it is, could it be possible to add a „manual braking“ callout as soon as I use the brakes after landing? Regards, Stu

  10. Hi, in the settings, the flight number section is used for ATC communication, so it's basically the callsign. Don't know about the rest of the world but in Europe those callsigns often differ from the "flight number" (for several reasons). For example Eurowings flight EW1976 has EWG6N ("Eurowings six-november") as ATC callsign. Am I missing something, or is it actually not possible to set callsigns that contain letters? Regards, Stu

Hi Bryan, Would it be possible to add an option for the F.O to cycle the non-smoking sign when reaching 10K? It's usually SOP for U.S carriers (for the one I work for, and for most I have been flying with). Thank you! John.

Hello, I would like to address an already mentioned mistake again in the CONIG-CALLOUTS. It is the option 1000 Feet (Approach) setting. If you only go to the page CONFIG-CALLOUTS and the option is for example NO and this is not changed, now just another button, for example to DEP, then back to CONFIG-CALLOUTS, an unintentional change of the Option 1000 Feet (Approach). It automatically switches between YES and NO. Again and again when you leave the menu and go back. Please check and change if possible. You never know which setting of this option is really active then. If you want that, I can shoot a small movie and send it to you to watch. …

Hi there, I am using the beta 2 of 1.1. I have been experiencing issues since release with the PM not turning on or off the Packs for takeoff. Also, when the ground is called to be disconnect the GPU, It is still connected until removed manually. I am also unable to get the PM to start the APU after landing or at any stage.

In button control, the cabin crew is advised to prepare for takeoff only after I ask for "set the lights please", which I usually do upon entering the runway. Sometimes this timing is a bit "tight", as I can only call for the below-the-line t/o checklist after cabin is advised.... Could the cabin advisory maybe be moved to right after the to-the-line t/o checklist in button control? Or is this unrealistic? Are they asked to take their seats when the aircraft enters the rwy IRL? Greets, stu

When I call for "brake check" (button control) the PM responds with "pressure zero" immediatly, evem if I don't touch the brakes ... Shouldn't he wait until I actually do a brake check? Regards Stu

  19. Hello, What a great product fused with another great product. Ever since development was announced, I followed the threads and Store closely. 1st Impressions: Awesome!!! But if there is one thing I would complain about, is the Preliminary Cockpit Procedure timing is a bit off. To be exact, as soon as the PM turns on the GPU, he conducts the APU fire test and resumes his flows before all systems are booted up. I would hope to see the PM wait until all systems are booted up, until he continues with the APU Fire test and so On. Otherwise he doesn't hear the Aural Indications part of the Procedure. I don't think anyone would change FSLabs default settings of 40…

  20. Hi there, on button control, the system will do "my" (PF) callouts, so on takeoff he will say "Man-Flex, SRS, Runway" when I push the key. But I noticed that "he" will call "Runway" even if there is no runway guidance system for takeoff available on an airport and the FMA thus doesn't show "RWY". Don'T know if it's a bug or just a limitation of the system we will have to accept, (because how will the system know this when it can't actually "read" the PFD)? I dont' use voice commands, so I don't know how it reacts if you'd just don't say "Runway" on T/O.... but for the key controlled version, it will always say "runway". Stu

Hi, i just installed the Fs2 Crew for the Fslabs A320. I run the A320 in cold and dark panel status. Strangely enough, the cockpit prep is already completed and fs2crew wants to continue the before start checklist. Am I doing something wrong? Can somebody help me? Thanks a lot! Ben

  23. I already said all the good I feel for this version of FS2Crew, this post is just trying to make it even better. Bugs - When saying wipers on, FO set both wipers on but when saying wipers off, he only turn off the left side wiper. - Some fs2crew callout configs items are being reset automatically, even during the same session: Runway in sight : ON , always turn off by itself, and so does "prepare the cabin at 20k". - despite having "wing lights during climb and descent ON", the FO does not turn wing lights ON - If i say "runway turn off light ON , FO turn it on if it is OFF but turn it OFF if it is ON, same goes for "runway turnoff light O…

When it's the PMs turn to check the flight controls and he comes to the rudder check, it's actually moving the aircraft (right/left) while taxiing. I have to steer against it. Can I prevent this from happening? Regards, Stu

First off all, thanks for this FSLabs FS2Crew, it is a very nice job indeed and really really close to reel Airbus SOP I wish you could get access to an FSLabs SDK so it could be 100% perfect. If only you could read the FMGS and FMA ! I have some small issues and you may have a solution: - When taking off , what is the trigger word for the fo to says "checked" after we say "MAN FLEX XXX SRS RUNWAY AUTOTHRUST BLUE" ? Most of the time he does not answer. - when securing aircraft , the copi do not turn adirs off - In the parking flow the PM turn off the brake fan, would it be possible to let us do that manually? In hot country brakes might…
