  1. Hello @ll, version 1.46 of the P4AO now has an option to manage addon scenery that doesn't have layer tags. When the "Auto-Layer" setting is turned off, P4AO will no longer assign layer numbers to addon scenery components automatically. Make sure to read the manual, there is a chapter about layering right at the beginning. Furthermore, scenery, other addons and packages can now be moved up and down their respective lists by spinning the mouse wheel over the "up/down" buttons. REMEMBER TO CREATE BACKUPS OF YOUR CONFIG FILES WITH P4AO BEFORE MAKING DRASTIC CHANGES LIKE TURNING ON/OFF THE "AUTO-LAYER" FEATURE. Best regards

  2. Started by Lorby_SI,

With a little time on my hands (...) I made a couple of videos of the upcoming version 1.76 of LLTX. Please note: LorbyLiveTraffic does NOT use the freeware DLL, that handles AI traffic on sloped runways. That DLL is normally included in LVFR KFLL, but I disabled it. All that is shown in the videos is done by LLTX alone. Best regards

  4. Hello, Program has been running since the first time i downloaded it, but for some reason .exe file doesn't run anymore, nothing happens - not even in the taskbar. I try to uninstalled and reinstalled but i've the same issue. I read on a topic that i should try to delete the local files of the app in C:\Users\...\Appdata\Local\Lorby-SI (or Lorby_SI) but this doesn't solve the problem. Any idea ? I've the latest version, windows fully updated and .net framework 4.8. Thanks in advance.

  5. In an earlier thread, I asked about the two percentage options for the "Add offline GA, helicopter and military traffic" checkbox. The first percentage option is on the main screen, and the second one is behind the cog (which opens a new panel to adjust the individual levels of traffic for each AI type -- the "Adjust traffic density" panel). I was curious to know how these related to the number of offline random aircraft I was seeing. The response was as follows ... "The main percentage dial controls the "randomized" factor - the higher you set it, the more likely it is that an offline traffic aircraft is created at any given minute (but that also depends on weather,…

Doubt this has anything to do with Lorby-si but does anyone know why this keeps being corrupted. I do have p3dv4.5 with fsuipc5 and lorby-si exe in the main directory to run "make runways" but really don't know why. [Area.001] Title= Local= Layer=1 Active=FALSE Required=FALSE have no other scenery files added except my airport for KINT but its on a separate "scenery" hard drive...This has been a recent event. Do use ADE... Thank you for any help, BobM.

I have a couple quick questions with regards to the add-on manager for P3DV4. 1) It looks like from the manual that you can create groups that you either activate or deactivate as needed prior to staring P3DV4. Does this mean I could have a group for ORBX Global products, One for ORBX NA products ....etc and only activate the areas in which I am presently flying? 2) If the answer to number 1 is yes, does that if I deactivate lets say the NA group then reactivate it before another session I will get bombarded with a bunch of query windows upon starting P3D asking me if I want to enable the addon for each of the products in the NA group? Thanks, …

  8. Hello @ll, If you are using Prepar3D, then the new version of LorbyLiveTraffic has Runway Cameras that will track either you or the LLTX traffic. These P3D Observer type cameras can be created and edited with just a few mouse clicks. As usual, LLTX is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website Best regards

  9. Hello @ll, the latest version of Lorby AxisAndOhs supports the Saitek/Logitech Radio-, Multi- and Switchpanels. In the current state only the native default events are available and cannot be changed. So the panels will only work properly with aircraft where the flight instrumentation is built upon simulator default mechanics. The app is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. Best regards

Oliver, When I changed to P3Dv4 from FSX, back in April last year, I was extremely disappointed to discover that the "HeliTraffic 2009" program did not work with P3D. I had invested a lot of time in that program, with FSX, setting up helicopter routes and virtual helipads etc. Whilst checking to see if there had been any recent updates to P4AO, I happened to read the full blurb for LiveTraffic. Imagine my surprise when I saw the words "...offline randomized helicopter...". A quick download, some setting up, and I now have AI helicopters flying once again in my simulator. I've even managed to get all the same virtual helipads in to LiveTraffic that I previously…

  11. Hello all, Please forgive me if you have seen this before. I was under the impression that I had already posted this query but I cannot find it. OK. A few days ago I got into P3D (LAAO automatically loaded .. waiting for aircraft) I selected the aircraft and noticed that there were no AXIS or Button assignments. So I went to templates and attempted to copy a template that I had already created. The programme (LAAO) crashed to desktop with P3D still running. So I reloaded LAAO and set up the axis and buttons assignments again (very easy process), went to templates and clicked on "save as template. LAAO crashed to desktop with P3D still running. I reloaded LAAO …

  12. Hello @ll, version 1.03 b03 is mostly a bugfix version. It fixes the problem that button events would not be immediately available after having been assigned. In addition it is now possible to assign MIDI controllers to axis events as well. Since many MIDI devices have rotary encoders, this could be used for example for the tiller axis. Or it may be fun to fly a drone with ribbon controllers. The app is available for free on the Lorby-SI website Best regards

Hello @ll, Version 1.75 of LorbyLiveTraffic is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. This version brings further improvements to the offline/randomized helicopter traffic, most notably the FDE. Admittedly this is not the best video, but it gives a general idea. Please note that in this video I am using FS9 helicopters in P3D 4.5 too (the AH-64), where very often the rotor animation doesn't work. It is not shown in the video, but the latest version of LLTX has an option to attach a spinning rotor to any helicopter at runtime (P3D only!), to help with the visuals.

  14. Hello @ll, with version 1.03 it is now possible to assign (sensitivity) response curves to every controller axis. The tool will now also recognize MIDI controllers and you can assign notes to simulator events. For example, I am using a Novation/Focusrite Nocturn to operate autopilot knobs like alt/hdg/vs select. LorbyAxisAndOhs is still available as freeware on the Lorby-SI website. Best regards

  16. Hello @ll, LorbyLiveTraffic 1.73 is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. The main feature of this version is a TaxiGuide app. You can input your intended taxi route on a simple dialog or a gauge, and LLTX will create a string of lights in the sim, following that route. (the gauge is currently only available in P3D V4, but the dialog works for every sim that LLTX is compatible with). You can choose between big yellow flashing lights or small red constantly glowing ones. This may be useful for all those simmers who don't use the in-sim ATC. Best regards

  17. Hello I am having an issue getting the flashlight program to open. It was working the past, but now even after a few uninstall/reinstalls the program still will not open. It is not showing in task manager either. When you click the icon to start it, Windows just ignores the request.

Hello @ll, this new version of LorbyLiveTraffic is mostly about bugfixes. Additional logic has been added to deal with the currently less than ideal data quality of the RealTraffic client - LLTX will either ignore or try to correct datasets that are obviously wrong or outdated. For example, there are datasets that put an aircraft at 30.000ft at 5kn ground speed (while the real AC hasn't even departed yet); others are displaying the departure and arrival airports of the last flight that the aircraft did, not the current one; on most airports there is no reliable ground traffic data, etc. IMHO, at this moment, the only really usable LLTX modes are "Sim AI" and "Hybr…

  19. First of all, thanks for all your efforts with LLTX to provide a medium to display live aircraft. After some experimentation, I do not appear to be able to obtain much landing traffic in Hybrid mode. A few aircraft do make a landing, but the majority appear to be "stuck" and are not transitioning to the approach in Simulator AI mode. Should I be able to see a steady stream of landing traffic at e.g. EGLL, or is this a feature of the Hybrid mode? Edit: After quite a long period of time, I now have more aircraft landing. I would say that the approach is positively ablaze with activity now, but the aircraft separation is not good, with some aircraft tailing ea…

Installed your LiveTraffic app, and at FT's EHAM, all of a sudden the then clear visibility gave way to very dense fog and the wings constantly flexing. Added to that, it created the Runway Turn-Off light inoperable at 10000ft and then had a weather-related horn going off incessantly. Only way I could get rid of this annoying klaxon was to revert to the default sim weather. Can you kindly shed any light?

Hello @ll, On top of "Live" and "Simulator AI", LorbyLiveTraffic now has an additional "Hybrid" mode. Planes are under simulator ATC control when on approach and on the ground, but they follow the real world paths when en route. This mode requires the RealTraffic client by InsideSystems. LLTX is available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. Best regards

  23. Hello @ll, LorbyLiveTraffic has been updated to version 1.50 b02, and is available in the DOWNLOADS section of the Lorby-SI website (bottom of the page). Starting with this version, aircraft will taxi in to a (more or less random) gate in "Live" mode too. They can't taxi out, because of how transponders are handled in the real world - the signal is picked up way too late to allow a taxi from the gate to the runway - most transponders are switched on just before take off. Also in this version there is the option to populate the airports with static aircraft automatically, using either the airport parking codes or, if those aren't available, the actual traffi…

In connection with a new installation of Windows 10, I made a mistake. I have my files eg Document synced with One Drive. Now I'm going to unlink my PC from One Drive. The question then is what happens to my installations of scenery and other addons in P3D. The xml files will probably contain the wrong path I suspect. Is there any simple way to make this change without it becoming total chaos. I have used Addon organizer. Grateful for advice and tips /Thomas
