Hi Oliver, Addon Organizer v1.55 b10 Prepar3D V5 HF2 ORBX True Earth GB North I've been trying my best to work out why I am seeing this: To date nothing has worked, including the recreation of scenery.cfg, addons.cfg, scenery_add-ons.xml, rebuilding of scenery indexes, running ORBX Sync, ORBX Verify Files, reinstallation of ORBX TE GB North and confirming the default ORBX Insertion points are set correctly in ORBX Central. Hello @ll, The new version of AxisAndOhs has an option to use your mouse as a flight control device (also in simulators that don't have that feature by default...). The mouse can be used as yoke, rudder, throttle or spoiler handle. Best regards

Hello, Is it possible to move multiple sceneries into a group at one time? For example when creating a custom group I have to manually select all the 0701, 0702, 0703 etc. base sceneries to move into each group. Since there is no easy way to tell which airports those numbered folders contain, I have to add them all. It would be easier if I could multi select them like you can on the main scenery page.

Not sure if you can point me in to right direction. I un-installed V4 and I have Aerosoft Rome for that version. Now would like to install same scenery into V5 but installer is looking for V4. Is there a way I can make it work and to install in V5? When I launch installer V5 is not available. I do have old folder V4 add-ons but obviously Texture and scenery is not there. Any idea? BTW Aerosoft never updated to V5 unfortunately but I believe I should be able to use that in V5. Let me know if possible. Thanks

Hi Oliver, Moving over to Prepar3D v5 HF2. Native + ORBX installed into various libraries. Preparing to install Creative Design Studio's Black Marble. Have backed up all the usual files (addons.cfg, scenery.cfg, terrain.cfg) prior to installing BM as wish to do this via the xml addons method. However the BM Developer has voiced his concerns on his forums as this could lead to layering and other unspecified problems. He still prefers the old method but the BM V5 installers, in fact, do allow for the use of both methods. Otherwise, no manual messing about with files, apart from Prepar3D.cfg, thus far! To date everything has been installed using native V5…

Hello! Is it possible to correctly teleport the aircraft to another point in the flight plan? For example, on a transatlantic flight instead of simulation rate.

Hello @ll, the last few weeks I have been running many tests with LorbyLiveTraffic, trying to find the cause for the simulator crashing when using the "Simulator AI" mode (where the real world aircraft fly as simulator controlled AI, interacting with ATC etc.). The bad news is, that there isn't a clear cause. The same aircraft being assigned the same flight plan will sometimes crash the sim, at other times it doesn't. It also depends on the active scenery, an AI plane might crash the sim when using the same airport from an addon developer as opposed to the default. My best guess is that it has something to do with the ATC mechanics in the sim, but I can't prove …

Everyime I save my layers, when I reopen the program they revert to the order they were in prior to me saving the changes

Upgrading to P3D v5 this weekend and reinstalling software add-ons. Wanted to upgrade to Lorby Add-on Organizer 1.55 and Windows Defender threw up a Trojan Virus Flag. Has anyone else seen this? (Assuming it's a false positive...I hope.) Thx, Rob

Out of curiosity, I wanted to check these two files ( Lorbyscenery.cfg & scenery.cfg) and noticed that the LM scenery.cfg has broken "area" sequencing. The areas break after [Area.002] between [Area.003] to [Area.038]. Does P3Dv4.5 read my scenery from Lorbyscenery.cfg OR scenery.cfg. I just thought both .cfg files would be identical. I am guessing it is the Lorbyscenery.cfg file. Regards

When I check for encoding errors in P4AO, I get a message identifying an incorrect character encoding in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\add-ons.cfg file. Is this normal and can it ignored?

Hi, I have spent ages getting my groups just right for P3D v4 using the addon organiser. Now with P3D V5, is there anyway to copy all of my groups and sceneries in that format from the V4.X to V5? Thanks

Hi, After update to HF2 I had to redo all ORBX files and now I have AIRPORTS in VIOLET which basically means wrong Path as per Manual. But when I check it's there but folder contains Scenery and scenery has text file "Dummy file for v5..." LOL... so if P4AO reads this as wrong path because of that I am thinking if is "dummy" I should disable or delete but....any advice?

P3D v5 HF1 I get a ND error when loading the the Aerosoft Airbuses and discovered the reason why. Using the latest version 1.55 Lorby's Addon Organizer. Whenever I hit save it will remove any duplicates between the two add-ons.cfg. In this case it removes the following lines from the add-ons.cfg file located in C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5. I have a backup add-ons.cfg where I just copy and paste the missing lines. Hallo all ! I have used this software a lot on my old pc ( win 7/64 ) and it always worked as expected. Now I have a new Pc running Win 10 and I cant get it to work properly. I get "Microsoft .Net framework" error that indicates some runtime file/s missing (?). Downloaded, I think, all of them, 2005 (x3),2008 (x2),, 2010,2013(x2),2015-2019 (x2), 2019. Tried "Turn windows features on or off", with corresponding updates. Same error. What have I forgotten ? I have downloaded/uninstalled/reinstalled a couple of times. Hello Oliver, because you are one of those big "cracks" in case of programming and that stuff and i wouldn´t know how to live without your great Add-On Organizer, i would like to ask two important questions to you. 1. Do you know the reason, why there are 2 add-ons.cfg, one in the popular roaming folder but a second in the less polpular ProgramData folder, about not everyone is aware of? 2. Which one of these two add-ons.xml is changed by the add-on organizer with what operation? It seems to me, that the Scenery management is all written to the xml in the roaming folder but the "other add-ons" and packages is written to the other one in the ProgramData. May…

when I hit the button the program just stalls with win 10 circle running indefinitely. how do I go about troubleshooting it?

I've recently started and getting the hang of using P4AO to move all my addon airports outside the root P3D folder - I think it's going OK so far. No doubt, a handy tool! I now want to start investigating, how to load into the sim only the regions I want to fly in, to reduce load times and increase performance as I've accumulated a considerable amount of addons over the years. I've created 6 groups (regions) covering the world and determining what each should contain. hi oliver hoping you can help i have a problem with scenery order not staying where i put them and scenery order changing eg orbx airports can be under regions and land class i have ran orbx central set insertion point to last third party airport and set open land class below airports and regions then i check with your addon organiser everything seems to be ok apart from a couple of third party airports eg uk2000 which i have positioned close to top of scenery library all in order i find when i check these they are split up so i try to change them and put them back in order but when i click save they move and change order again and will not stay where …

I installed the latest version of the product. When I start it all I get is a long list of invalid add-ons. The list has them all in C:Users\Owner\Documents\Prepar3D v4 add-ons. There is nothing else but that list, which I can only close by using task manager. The add-on files aren't in the folders on the list, but in E:\Documents\Prepar3D v4 add-ons and E:\Documents\Prepar3D v5 add-ons. Something is obviously wrong.

Hello @ll, I have decided to release a prototype of my "Lorby Tug Driver" app. With this addon you can drive a pushback tug around the airport and handle AI aircraft at the gates. You can attach a tow bar to their front gear, and when the time comes, push them out the gate, release the tow bar and wave them off. Limitations: Prepar3D V4 / V5 only! the app currently works best with BGL based traffic, so it can read the departure time of a parked AI the front gear of the pushed aircraft doesn't turn with the tow bar, it usually remains straight. Maybe this is by design, but the scenery order in the Addon Organizer is opposite of the scenery library in P3D. For example, if I chose a layer of "4" for a scenery entry, The addon manager places it on the bottom of the list instead of the top.
