Hi Oliver; I'm using P3D Addon Organizer v1.56b09 in P3Dv5. I have my Orbx scenery organized so that the Orbx regions are prioritized below all the individual airport sceneries. The sceneries are grouped by region. If I deactivate a number of groups that include some of the Orbx sceneries, the individual sceneries still appear in the proper order, with active sceneries in green and deactivated sceneries in red, but as soon as I do a save, the scenery order is being altered so that some of the airport sceneries are placed below the regional sceneries. Greetings, On my P3DV5.1 installation, the file C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\add-ons.cfg became corrupted, and I had no recent backup. I have partially restored it with help form ORBX support, but I have many Aerosoft (and possibly others) aircraft and scenery add-on which remain 'disconnected' from P3D. I am new to the LAO, but from the documentation and the exploring the program its appears that I should be able to 'reconnect' these addons rather than uninstalling/reinstalling. them all. Is my assumption correct? Thanks

Hi Oliver, I used to use Google Earth Pro to show all the airports in the world but when they removed that feature I had no way of showing them. I often fly from default airports when I have no addon equivalent. I've since found the feature in AO and it seemed to fit the bill nicely. But it appears to only export addon airports - not all the default ones. Is there any possibility you could change AO to scan all the BGLs please? The KMZ file would then replace the feature Google have seen fit to remove.

Hello; I'm having two issues that the Addon Organizer has alerted me to and I'm trying to figure out how to fix. I have two pictures of the issue, but, for whatever reason, the insert image from URL isn't working for me. First issue: On startup of the organizer (version 1.55b10) I get a box stating Invalid or broken packages (=addon.xml) detected: ...\ActiveSkyP5 Missing add-on.xml Strongly advised not to continue... However, my Active Sky is functioning. What should I do to correct this issue? Hello, some Errors in scenery now after update from 5.2HF1 to 5.3 the Program 5.3 run fine but we get an "scenery Dat File Error". We have backup data from Lorby, which cfg-files should we restore to repair this? i think its "addon.cfg", in C:\ProgramData.. P3DV5 "scenery.cfg" in C:\ProgramData.. P3DV5 "addon.cfg", in C:\users\..raoming\...P3DV5 are there more configuration files which should be corrected ore restored? thanks for your information.

Hello Oliver; I have sent you earlier a PM about this. I am a longtime user of Lorby Live Traffic, currently P3D V5 in Windows 11. I was very happy with it and AIGAIM-OCi. Previously in Windows 10 one day suddenly live ai with Opensky or Realtraffic stopped taxiing to gates. As soon as they finish rollout they are deleted and not at all airports. and in runways with displaced threshold they touch down early, just at the beggining of the runway and not after the threshold lines. I cammed across an error while trying to run the conflicts options of the app. Once the process "Check for conflicts" is launch the following error message is shown. Information - I am on P3D v4.5 (with too much payware scenery) and my layers are all screwed up. I use your Addon Organizer. I have determined that the majority (if not all) of the duplicates are originating from two sources - one will be from scenery.cfg and the other is - users\name\documents\prepar3d v4 add-ons\scenery name. Hello Im still trying in vain to get live traffic to play nicely in V5. When I taxi along in the FSLABS for some reason when using Live Traffic the aircraft will just stop dead in its tracks all off a sudden and to get it to move again you have to apply full thrust etc etc etc this happens on taxiways as well as runways too. any ideas ? thanks

Hello @ll, still cleaning out the basement - Lorby Mooring is now also available as a free download on the Lorby-SI website. With this app you can anchor your floatplane to a spot on the water as if it were tied to a post. It will move with the waves and turn with the wind, but not drift away. Best regards

Hello @ll, a couple of bugs have been fixed. Addon packages on a discovery path were being added to the wrong add-ons.cfg file On first load, the scenery paths in the Scenery Treelist appear to be empty. That is just a depiction problem, they aren't really empty, the app just didn't show them You wouldn't notice either of those in normal operations, but they were wrong nonetheless... Best regards

Hi, as most of us I´m using P3D Addon Organizer constantly and cannot imagine to run my sim without the tool. THX for giving uns this phantastic freeware! My proposal for a developement of the tool: Would it be possible to make Groups for Packages, too? My intention: I have very much sceneries, airplanes and AI´s. For flying I only activate the sceneries I need for the flight. I know, not needed to save RAM since we have a 64-bit sim. But the loading time of P3D is the longer the more is active. But acivating/deactivating with the help of groups (e.g. for geographic regions) is only posible for sceneries and if they are activated not in scenry.cfg, but…

Hi! Thanks for another great tool! I've used Prepar3D Addon Organizer for a long time. Just downloaded and have been setting up MSAO. The only issue I have so far is I get a warning dialog every time I start it saying it seems my exe.xml file is broken. It comes up two times but after closing the warnings the tool works fine. What is it telling me I need to do? Bruce

Hello, I have been using the fantastic Addon Organiser for a while now, it is a great piece of work, many thanks. I am using P3d 4.5 & P3D 5.0. and am able to group scenery, however is there a way of grouping packages? I have read through the manual and cannot see if it is possible. I want to be able to create a quick preload of Orbx scenery, if I am flying in Australia I want to shut off the rest of the World Orbx packages in a group so only Australia loads for this session, no point loading Africa, England, Americas etc if I am in Aus. By switching them off vastly speeds up loading times. I use AddOn Organiser to switch all ORBX FTX packages off and only l…

Hi, With Lorby Add-on Manager my Scenery tab all looks good however when looking in the Other Add-ons tab I have several FlyTampa scenery add-ons with a light pink color and 1 (Aerosoft A320) highlighted with a dark pink color. I looked in the manual and I did not see a definition of this color for this tab. Can you explain what the colors represent on this tab? MY thoughts are the following: For the scenery add-ons that show pink could it be that the Set Path requires "./<pathname>"? I just installed P3Dv5.2 on a clean drive and after I started loading addon scenery I got this error when opening the addon manager. Errors detected in config file(s): dll.xml: There is an error in XML document (12, 4). Contents will not be visible! I have searched this forum and Lockheed forums and found nothing similar so far. I have reinstalled your addon manager but still get the same error. How do I fix this issue? Does it require having P3D rebuild my scenery.cfg? If so, where do I find the right scenery.cfg to remove before the rebuild? Thanks for your help with this. Jerry

I’m reinstalling Lorby Radar in the Tornado F3 simulator post COVID. Using P3D V4, AITX and the Virtavia F3 simulation. Normally after connecting I see the own position symbol plus the tag. This is not displaying nor are targets coming up on the display. AITX is displaying AI targets normally. What causes the symbol to appear. Is it affected by the IP address? I’ve reinstalled the program but no difference. Any advice?

Hi Oliver, Strange problem with AO v1.55 b10. On the Backup\Restore tab I set a path to my Documents folder for the backup zip to write to. Press Create Backup and see message saying zip has been created. Double-click the zip to open it but it's empty. Filesize is 458Kb. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, even though it seems that almost all software for P3d v5 is installed via xml, there does not seem to be a consistency by developers on where to place source files, and more importantly those source files that are installed into P3d root are the ones I wish to move. For example Fly Tampa. Their most recent installers place the source files correctly in the Prepar3d Add Ons Folder In My Documents. THIS is where I have been placing all my software when the installer allows it or when I install manually using Lorby’s marvelous and gracious tool. My need for instructions comes from my attempt today using the Lorby Tool to DELETE three Fly Tampa packages installe…

I have a problem with the old add-ons. I removed the add-ons from the Prepar addon dir without using the P3AO. My mistake. But no matter what I do now, when I try to add an add-on again I get the message that it already exists. The dir \ Users \ Name \ Documents \ Prepar3D v4 Add-ons is empty. I have already removed P3AO several times with uninstall. Removed all Add-ons.cfg in the various dirs and still the message that the add-on already exists. I have a scenery export. html and it only contains the scenery that is in the scenery.cfg. Where does P3AO get its data from. I hope then someone can help me. Greetings Ton
