Hi Oliver, I am tempted by your AAO. the Demo is awesome 🙂 I am wondering if it could be possible to - have one Throttle Axis activating two axis of P3D at the same time. A kind of "Assign combo", but without the need of a ComboKey ... - I have the Alpha and Bravo honeycomb devices. It would be perfect if the profiles could be included in the AAO aircraft settings and activated at aircraft selection. This would need only to copy the named profiles in the driver folder. (fixed names AFC_Yoke_Config and BFC_Throttle_Config). Cheers Gérard

Can I use Axis and Ohs to map my Bravo Throttle Quadrant to just one aircraft (in my case WT CJ4) and leave my other aircraft mapped with the msfs simulators inbuilt assignment method? If so what procedures should I follow?

Hi, I purchased AAO a few days ago and have been getting on OK mostly but have a couple of questions if someone could oblige please: 1. I have the Honeycomb Bravo throttle quadrant which is working fine but I need help with the old 10/100 problem. The AP rotaries and buttons work fine (I'm currently setting up with the Working Title CJ4). The problem I have is that the simple 10/100 fix won't work as the rotary to inc/dec needs to know which position the left rotary is in (Alt, Hdg etc). The CJ4 scripts work fine with this but my scripting skills are very limited (VBA was the last programming I used). I've tried altering the CJ4 scripts to have 2 versions, s…

Hi Oliver, just wondering, is it or will it be possible in the future, to assign buttons to touch screen buttons of the MSFS 2020 TBM GTC 580 buttons on the touch screen, such as the map settings, utilities, procedures, flight pln., etc.? I already have the knobs and side buttons of the 580 mapped or just settle on using the mouse for that, as at present.

Hello @ll, feature and bugfix update 2.03 of AAO has been uploaded to the shops today: * Change: Additional features in the WebAPI to support a new version of the StreamDeck Plugin * Change: "Fast turn" option for rotary encoders: the down event will only trigger when you turn the encoder fast enough * Change: special LVAR for the RPN scripts containing the down value of the button assignment. So instead of two scripts for 100/1000 changes you only need one * Change: Template export/import will try to match controllers to the local hardware automatically (for example the device ID of a MIDI controller) * Change: MSFS: When assigning the default "CAPTURE_…

Hello everyone, I have installed the latest AAO version and the AAO StreamDeck plugin. At the moment I am using the Flight-Tracker-StreamDeck plugin, with which I am getting along quite well. I have always logged the Event IDs with FSUIPC7 and then entered them in the Flight-Tracker Plugin. I think I could do something similar with the AAO plugin. In a StreamDeck profile for AAO, provided by @guenseli, I have seen that it is possible to operate switches in MSFS 2020 whose Event Id cannot be logged by FSUIPC7. For example, in the TBM there is a switch for the tanks that can be toggled between man and auto. FSUIPC7 does not issue an Event Id for this. How can I fi…

I have upgraded to the new v2.03 of the software and installed the SD plugin - all seems to be fine and the various buttons show up. However the sample profile "lorby_export.streamdeckprofile" is refusing to install, any suggestions ?

I downloaded and installed the demo and tried to assign two different functions to the multipanel knob. But it seems we can only assign one function as I dont see any combo button field in the setup screen. Is it something possible like it was in Linda for instance ? My objective is to increase altitude by 100 ft normally and 1000 ft with a combo button on my yoke.

Hi! To better understand whats going on especially with the new LVARS and XML Gauges, I am trying to do a basic variable interrogation loop. (I am using Powershell for now, I may switch to something fancier later if needed). This is the request I am trying initially: http://x.y.z.79:9080/webapi?json={"getvars": [{"var": "AUTOPILOT_AIRSPEED_HOLD_VAR","value": 0.0}]} And this is the response I am getting: $result = Invoke-WebRequest -Uri "$($myUrl)" -UseBasicParsing $result.Content {"buttons":null,"triggers":null,"getvars":[{"var":"AUTOPILOT_AIRSPEED_HOLD_VAR","value":0.0}],"setvars":null} I have tried with various syntax on the JSON request ob…

Hi Oliver, I recommended your program to a friend of mine and we can't seem to setup AxisandOhs with the PMDG NGX on FSX. He also bought the X-Touch mini controller and your program on simmarket. On my own PC I reinstalled FSX with the NGX and I'm using your FSX version of AaO's. I'm also not able to get it to work. PMDG uses their own command for HDG, ALT etc and I can assign those functions to keystrokes. And with FSUIPC I can also assign joystick inputs by using the PMDG variables. But FSUIPC doesn't accept MIDI input, that's why I recommended your program 😉 Is there a way to sent custom Variables to the sim like fsuipc does? By using an RPN script? Or reactivate …

Hello @ll, AAO version 2.01 has been released today. The „endless“ setting for MIDI encoders has been fixed. When it is activated, it will make the app repeat the command that has been assigned to a control when it is at the stops (rotary with stops or a slider). For example, when you adjust the AP altitude, you could use a slider. This will work normally in the range that it can travel, and at the stops it will just continue counting up/down until you move it the other way again SimConnect Errors will be caught in most cases now, reducing the probability of a hard crash The “Test” button on the script editor has been fixed This button will now als…

Hello @ll, the next version of AxisAndOhs will provide read&write access to the internal LVARs of the simulator. LVARs can be queried from the simulator at runtime and are used in the AxisAndOhs RPN scripts. The app will provide a list of all LVARs that are active in the running sim so you can add them to the RPN scripts more easily. The scripts can then be triggered with any compatible external controller (Joystick, MIDI devices, Saitek Panels etc.) or accessed via the AAO WebAPI. If current owners of AAO would be willing to help testing this, please send me an email or a PM here in the forum with your order number. Here are a couple of examples f…

Hello fellow virtual aerial firefighters! I am glad to announce that I am working on modelling and interfacing a pélicandrome model with FFX! "Pélicandrome" is how refill stations are named in France, a portmanteau of Pélican, the callsign of French waterbombers (Catalinas, then CL-215 and CL-415) and aérodrôme. I developed a proof-of-concept about 18 months ago with a single firefighter waving ams to give instructions to the pilot (hence making the green band dispensable) and much more realistic as it follows the French specifications. Thanks again to Oliver who very kindly created a dedicated gauge that exports FFX variables as Lvars. But this guide …

Hello @ll, AxisAndOhs version 2.0 has been released today. With this version you will have access to the internal LVars and HTML - Variables, that are used to control the buttons on the G1000etc. instruments in the glass cockpits of MSFS. This version includes many fixes and improvements that have been requested by users. The WebAPI has been expanded as well, which made it possible to implement a Bridge program to the VRI MCP Combo II device in a very short time. This Bridge program will be available shortly as a free download. This is a free upgrade for previous owners, just download it again from you account in the shop. It has already been deployed …

Hello This is my first post so apologies if this is an obvious question or repeat thread. I am not a PC person but can usually struggle my through things. So quick background for my first question. Just installed and loving Microsoft fs2020. I just purchased 3 logitech saitek gauges. I know msfs 2020 does not natively support these but it looks like AxisandOhs does. My question is can you use AxisandOhs just for the gauges or does it have to take control of everything. I am quite pleased with the default Hotas and mouse settings. I will undoubtedly use AxisandOhs eventually but the main requirement initially are the gauges. I know to use the demo version f…

Hello! One of the issues that I have with the A320Neo and AAO is that when I change the COM frequency using COM_RADIO_WHOLE_INC and COM_RADIO_WHOLE_DEC (as well as COM_RADIO_FRAC using a AAO Toggle). This increments the SimConnect variables (i can see for example on vPilot) but it doesn’t reflect on the Neo Virtual Cockpit Avionics. I just discovered (via another tool that captures this) that the COM rotary buttons on the VC actually trigger the COM_STBY_RADIO_SET_HZ event instead. Also, that the Active/Standby switch button on the VC actually trigger the COM_RADIO_SET_HZ and COM_SBY_RADIO_SET_HZ events in sequence (copying the value via Gauge JavaScript co…

Hello @ll, I just stumbled upon another case of non-published sim events. There are events to switch between managed and selected AP modes, but they are not in the SDK documentation. K:SPEED_SLOT_INDEX_SET K:VS_SLOT_INDEX_SET K:HEADING_SLOT_INDEX_SET K:ALTITUDE_SLOT_INDEX_SET In the current version of AAO you have to create two RPN scripts for each of those. For exampe for the speed mode: “Managed Speed Mode” with the code "2·(>K:SPEED_SLOT_INDEX_SET)" “Selected Speed Mode” with the code "1·(>K:SPEED_SLOT_INDEX_SET)" Assign these scripts to buttons as desired. I will add these events to the native list in the next version of…

Hello @ll, version 1.76 now has an API based on simple web technology (XMLHttpRequests and JSONP). It supports button events, triggering of simulator event IDs, reading and writing of simulator variables. This can be used for example in HTML/Javascript based flight instruments or in plugins for the Elgato StreamDecks, to access the simulator directly and get data from it to display on the button. The app has been uploaded to the shops and should be deployed to your account shortly. Best regards

Hi After reading through some of the post on your forum, one from user Turk10mm intrigued me. He appears to be using a midi controller, Behringer X-Touch Mini, as a controller in MSFS 2020. Does Axis and Ohs support midi controllers out of the box so to speak as this unit appears perfect to set up as an autopilot? cheers Steve
