I try to assign my Honeycomb Bravo speed brake (axis Z) to the prop lever for PMDG DC-6 using the RPN script editor. I have followed your instructions in the flightsim forum and used (L: DC6-PropLever) (> L: dc6_518_obj, Number). I have also adjusted the axis min and max to 0-150. But its not working. What have I done wrong? /Thomas

Hello @ll, the DC-6 uses two methods with the buttons, knobs and levers in the VC: LVars: when you collect the LVars from the sim, there will be a lot of this: (L:dc6_398_obj,·Number). The number 398 corresponds to a control in the VC, in this case it is the gust locks (people who are new to the plane will know why I bring this up…) So operating the gust locks is as easy as 0·(>L:dc6_398_obj,·bool) 1·(>L:dc6_398_obj,·bool) The good old (>K:ROTOR_BRAKE) method. They use the same number, in this case 398, multiply it by 100 and then add a number from 1 to n for the mouse action. (left down = 1, right down = 2, move = 3 etc.). As a …

When I try to delete a script, I do the following, but nothing happens: - Run AAO as admin - Go to "scripting" - "RPN scripts editor" - Select a group of scripts - Press "Delete script" - Nothing happens, the script is still there I can only delete single scripts, by double clicking on a selected script and then deleting it, but not groups. Any help appreciated, and I guess this is user error 🙂

I haven't used MSFS in a month or so but came back today to found AAO completely wiped all of my assignments in the WT CJ4. is There anyway to recover them or am I starting from scratch? edit: Never mind, downloading the latest version of AAO fixed it. Why did SimMarket stop sending emails when product updates drop? Ugh.

Amazing program! I have not posted much because I have never had an issue. However as of yesterday I am pulling my hair out. 1. I use HC Alpha and Bravo + MFG Crosswinds pedals in MSFS 2. I use FlightSimFlyBoy's scripts and templates (slightly modified) for the AS CRJ I flew MMMX to MMUN yester mid morning no problem. I loaded up into MMUN in the evening for a flight and most things did not work. Specifically anything to do with scripts. My scripts were not loaded into AAO. Hi, I am evaluating to buy AAO to use with Stream Deck XL. Does AAO have any impact on MSFS performance, as I read that previously simconnect had some negative impact on fps? Perhaps that has been already solved.

I would gratefully need some help getting a Lvar to JF Arrow Turbo to work on a pushbutton 0 on the Honeycomb Alpha. This applies to a fuel pump that has three positions. 0 = low 1 = off 2 = high. Since it is a pushbutton, it must be a toggle function. Lvar is "CENTER_LOWER_fuelpump" /Thomas

So I had my Bravo set up for the CJ4 in MSFS using AxisOhs and everything was working perfectly. I updated to SimUpdate 4 and now whenever I press HDG NAV APR etc on my Bravo yoke the CJ4 doesn't respong. The GA, Flaps, etc are all working even the AP rotary knobs to select Alt HDG et are all working fine. In the Axis/Ohs program everything is indicating that it's working just doesn't do anything in the sim.

Hi there, still enjoying the AAO Software with the StreamDeck and the FBW Airbus. I am searching more, reading and learning more about LVars, RPN Scripts and Filemanagement of MSFS then actual flying, but now I need help (again). I want to controll the Airbus Landing Light 1 and 2 separatly, but all I can find is the LANDING_LIGHTS_TOGGLE which controls both of them. What I found is "LANDING_1_Retracted" and "LANDING_2_Retracted" and I can controll both Lights if they are Off or Retracted for their own. But I really don't know how to turn them on! Currently, I am filtering then scrolling through the variables / Activities and selecting the ones that look the most likely. I then put them in the script and click on test to see if the variable value changes when i click the switch etc in the sim and re-test I do the same with the events to see if the switch moves when i test it. It is a very hit'n'miss approach, not to mention time consuming. After a while i will post something on a forum and hope I get a bite. Is there a more efficient way of approaching it ? What other methods do people try ?

Has anyone go any tips of how to get the lighting on the PA28 working through AoO and an x-touch-Mini ? With the panel lighting, i can turn the lighting on and of by clicking an encoder, but I can't adjust the brightness by twiddling the encoder. With the Cabin lighting, same story except it I turn the knob on the ceiling (using the mouse in the sim) completely off, then clicking the encoder can't turn it back on. Many thanks

Hi there, I got a new StreamDeck and therefore using AAO to use it with the MSFS. I downloaded a nice Profile for the FBW A320 and cusomized it myself. Now I want to add two buttons to decrease and increase the baro pressure, but can't find any LVar working for me. When trying to establish what variables I need to be checking, In the script editor I put in a list of variables: (A:GENERAL·ENG·FUEL·PUMP·ON,·Bool)·(A:GENERAL·ENG·FUEL·PUMP·SWITCH,·Bool)·(A:PITOT·HEAT·SWITCH,·Enum)·(A:FLAPS·HANDLE·INDEX,·Number) Then I press TEST to see what 4 digits appear depending on what the switch state is in the sim. flicking the pitot switch changes the 3rd digit from 0 to 1. Changing the flap lever changes the 4th Digit from 0,1,2,3 but the first 2 digits always stay at 0 no matter what position the fuel pump switch is in. When I start FS2020 and AAO and Firefox with Web FIPs all works well. All works well during a flight. When I land and park the aircraft with engine running for to do some other things. After a while when I return to the aircraft Firefox has lost contact with the webserver, the webserver has stoped working. I restart AAO but the webserver did not start. I restart FS2020 and AAO but the webserver do not restart. I have to restart the hole PC(Win 10 64bit) and after that all start again. Why can't I restart the webserver after first lost contact? Or why stops the webserver at all?

Only got myself a Behringer x-touch mini yesterday and discovered AAO last night (demo only) for MSFS. Still in the playing around phase but I am looking to buy it shortly. One issue I am having is that, given the large amount of events, how to know which one to use. Is it trial and error or is there a way of clicking on the button etc in MSFS and being able to see what event it relates to ? I am trying to set up Midi controller with the JF Piper Arrow 3 so I can access cabin and panel lights etc using it. There is a lot to learn. 😃

Sorry to bother you again but I seem to have a bug when having a Fast Turn and a normal assignment to the same rotary, that also depends on the order of the entries in the ConfigDatabase_MSFS.xml. This is with AaO 2.07 b12 and MSFS. I made a very simple example to reproduce it with a Fast Turn and a normal assignment where on Fast Turn it should increase the heading bug and on a normal turn it should increase the altitude bug. When in the config xml the normal entry is before the fast entry (like in the xml example below), then on each input both HDG and ALT are increased, even when it's too slow for a Fast Turn. I've tried with plugin version 3.0 and 3.15, same result on both: When I use a TextGauge to display two different(!) LVars it does not work. Both LVars show fine on their own or when I use the same LVar for "Variable 1" and "Variable 2", but when I use two different LVars it does not (display does not update, for neither variable). Also another small glitch I noticed, when "Variable 2" is "0" it shows up as an empty string instead of "0" (with both A: and L: vars). Thanks

Hi, Great program for P3Dv5 that provides a good alternative to FSUIPC. I installed it a few days ago and am currently using it for assigning key-presses to buttons on my yoke for use with PRO/ATC-X. While in-sim it disconnects every 15 min. or so. I'd like to use more of its functions (assigning axis, etc.), but until I solve the disconnection issue I can't. Any idea what the problem may be? Has anyone experienced this problem? I searched the forum, but found no related posts. I think I'll reinstall it now & see what happens. Thanks.

Hi Oliver, RPN Scripting is error prone (nothing new...) 😞 AxisAndOhs helps by showing the current interpretation when using the test button ! But, the display is very "transient" - if it could be automatically copied to the clipboard (no more), it would allow to look at it "quietly" in our prefered text editor. Would be VERY helpful !
