Hi all, I'm just starting to use Where are My Aircraft and am finding it a very useful utility for my kind of flying. One thing I'd like to find out more about are possible key bindings. I notice that the C2 button on my joystick causes WAMA to take a screenshot which I'd rather it didn't do. I can't find anything in the settings to turn this off or to assign other buttons (say for Saving Current Position). I also can't find a config file either which might have them. Does anyone have any ideas? Many thanks Warwick

I just acquired the Logitech Multipanel device and noted that the CRS control operates only on the OBS for VOR 1. With the planes I fly, I have no need for an Auto throttle. Is it possible with Axis and Ohs to remap the autothrottle switch to selection of the VOR1 or VOR 2 for the CRS change?

I upgraded Axis and Ohs latest version and i started getting a weird behavior where some of my XTouch Mini buttons stop responding after a while. In my example, I am linking the AP_PANEL_VS_HOLD event to MIDI: 1 CHN: 10 EVT: 9 CLICK, it works fine but at one point i notice it is no longer responding, even while other button presses work OK. For troubleshooting If pop up the app, no light is indicated when I press the button, but if I double click to edit the assignment it is clear the controller is generating its thing and the app is even able to detect the presses. If i close and restart the app without changing anything it starts working, until well, it d…

Hi there, Yesterday I bought a copy of WAMA and have installed the P3D 44 version (I'm running P3D 4.5) and I can't get it to start. I also ran both of the MS residistributable files as well. At the moment all that's happening when I run the executable is the Windows spinning circle thing and no response from the application. Do you have any suggestions how I might fix this? Hello @ll, AxisAndOhs has been updated to version 1.71 This version now has RPN scripting. You can create your own scripts to trigger more complex functionality with a single button press. These scripts are using a simplified version of the legacy RPN syntax from FSX, which is well documented online. You shouldn't have any trouble finding examples and guidance. Example: pressing the HDG button in the cockpit of the MSFS TBM would normally set your current heading as the selected heading of the autopilot. I can set the thrust reverser via the MSFS keyboard setting. But I liked that the throttle reverser starts automatically after pulling back the throttles. Does anyone have a tip =?

Hi new to your software - looks neat but I cant figure it out - I have saitek throttle quadrant I cant seem to get anything to assign on quadrant - loaded question but works fine in sim menu What is the benefit of this over just using in game settings - trying to get my head around this program - thanks

Just a couple of questions and a observation. Firstly, 20 minutes isn't enough time to get anything done. I was halfway through removing assignments and restarting MFS and poof. With a better approach I might have made a small flight after assignments in 20 minutes, but I doubt it. (I'm slow). Is there not a Throttle map? There is one for throttle 1 or throttle 2 and so on. But, not for Throttle. This allows having a single throttle slider for use with both single and multi-engine aircraft in MFS. As a Flight Simulator fan, I bought the new Microsoft Flight Simulator. And i had a surprise, but the surprise wasn't the game experience itself, it was the missing mouse yoke option. I have made an external option for this, but as well I tried others options, like LorbyAxisAndOhs. I seem to be missing something in getting my Saitek yoke hat button mapped in AAO. I can get pan views but how do you map a button so that each consecutive press cycles to a specific set of views, like the standard hat mapping in MSF2020? I can see the mapping in MSF but unless I map the forward direction to just next view and cycle through every view I see no way to hit the button and have it cycle through the views that are default currently in the sim, standard forward, up and forward, down and forward. Hi, I'm trying the demo of Axis And Ohs with MSFS but I cannot get combo buttons to reliably work. I have those two assignments: But only the one added or updated last (whichever it is) will work, I cannot get them to work both. I also checked the ConfigDatabase_MSFS.xml, and except for the key-down-event and the button numbers the entries are identical.

Hello, Oliver, So, I finally wanted to switch from fsuipc to AxisAndOhs in p3dv5 - but unfortunately it doesn't seem to have been a good idea... I have massive problems with AxisAndOhs p3dv5 with the assignment of buttons ! The axis assignment works quite well, only the button assignment is a pure chaos 😞 When adding new assignments (OK Button) often nothing works at all, often a double entry with the exact same name is created, and unfortunately even worse - existing other entries are simply deleted !? Hi, thinking to purchase the tool, I would ask if is it possible with it to adjust the extreme sensitivity of the axis in MSFS 2020 that makes the use of joysticks and rudders a nightmare even with sensitivity set at minimum in the simulator. Thanks and KR Joe

Hi Oliver - Just purchased LAAO but haven't had a chance to use it yet. Reading the documentation brings up some questions. FWIW, I have been using FSUIPC to assign my CH Yoke, CH TQ, CH Rudders and Saitek X55 in P3d5 and in process of working out the best for MSFS. Looking at LAAO it might solve some of the issues with the other product. You mention disabling conflicting assignments in sim. Can I assume you mean the actively selected controller in sim as opposed to one that has been set up but is not active/. None of my controls are preprogrammed by MSFS so I have a DEFAULT profile for every controller that is empty. Can I assume that if I select those as active and…

hey there, just purchased the AxisAndOhs for MSFS on simmarket and i got a questions. the mouse yoke seems to work great, but it is really annoying to have the mouse cursor floating on your screen when you controlling the aircraft. is there a possibility to add a feature that when you activate the mouse control via the assign keyboard key, the mouse cursor would disappear and when you deactivate the mouse control, it would show up again?

Good morning, I've created a video of a bug i'm experiencing in creating new mappings. Essentially, when I create a mapping the correct variable for the action is not being written. If i manually update the xml with the correct mapping it works. Don't ask me how i found the right mapping, because i don't know. Somehow I was able to create one mapping that had the correct number by accident, though i cannot reproduce how I did it. Hi again, The X-Touch Mini midi controller has arrived and I started fooling with configuring it today. The buttons work flawlessly, however, the encoders are really giving me fits. Attached is a video clip of me slowly turning a knob to the right. Every time it changes direction its because i've completed rotating the knob as far as I can and regrasp the knob and start turning it again. Any ideas what's going on here? I've tried playing with the settings, and i'm pretty sure that Relative2 is the min value i need. Thanks for your help.
