Hello Oliver, first of all , thank you very much for this great piece of software !! :-) I still have a little wish: It would be very cool to change (override) not only the time of a save-game, but also the specific date of a saved aircraft ! Is this possible in one of the next updates ? ;-) greetings Gerolamo

Hi! Just downloaded and trying to use for the first time here, I have this happening when clicking on Edit Database. (both FSX and P3dv4 versions) Yes, I've installed both vcredist_xxx.exe and it still didn't work. Here's the message I get: See the end of this message for details on invoking just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box. ************** Exception Text ************** System.FormatException: String was not recognized as a valid DateTime. at System.DateTimeParse.Parse(String s, DateTimeFormatInfo dtfi, DateTimeStyles styles) at WhereAreMyAircraft.SQLiteDbHandler.getDateTimeField(SQLiteDataReader reader, String fieldName) …

I bought and installed WAMA into PP3d V4.2 today. I think I have followed all the set up instructions, but I cant get the app to work. When I select "I want to fly this aircraft", the sim loads the situation, and places me behind the aircraft. The "enter" and "leave" buttons are dead I Fly A2A aircrafts exclusively. I also use Ezdoc with TrackIr 5, Activesky for PP3d v4. and FSUIPC The OS is Windows 10 pro. I would like to show a screen grab, but I cant figure how to work with attachments here. Thanks in advance.

Hello @ll, "Where are my Aircraft?" (or WAMA) version 1.09 has been released today. The two main new features are: - the "Time Machine" accelerates the simulation rate between the waypoints of your flight plan, slowing down automatically for each turn (so the autopilot can make it) - screenshots made while the WAMA logbook was active are added to the database and can be admired in a HTML based "scrapbook" report after your flight. It has already been deployed on SimMarket. JustFlight and FsPilotShop will follow as soon as they have processed it. Best regards

Hello @ll, please note the following topic: https://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6310&t=128457 It is currently not possible to assign a flight plan to a helicopter AI. That means that - in FireFighter X and CropDuster X you cannot create "parked" helicopters. They will not taxi out. You can only use "Take off now" when dispatching helicopters as AI fire fighters. - In AiTracker X you cannot dispatch helicopters with flight plans. Same problem. You can use them with waypoint recordings, but they will not show up in the main AI list (AITX is only looking for airplanes currently, and update is needed to fix that - but there is not much …

Hello I use Firefighter with P3D V4.1 academic and the CL 215 (http://secure.simmarket.com/rlaborie-cl-215-p3d4.phtml). I have problem to scoop, i am at the good altitude and i can't arm scoop doors, if i want to scoop i have to flight less than 10ft and clicking 1000 times on the scoop arm and then the tanker is loading slowly. I think about a conflict with one other function or buttons. Can you help me ? Thanks Thomas

Hi, I'm considering purchasing Firefighter X, My primary reason is purely so I have a visual depiction of live fires as they occur in the real world while I cruise along my route. Alot of my flying is high altitude up in the FL's. My question is will the fire and smoke etc be visible from such altitudes or do I need to be below a certain height to see the effects? Regards, Matt

The recent 'Still love WAMA!' thread reminded me again why I own, but don't currently use WAMA. I wish I could find a solution, but early on I discovered that WAMA's changing aircraft on the fly was incompatible with how I use most of my aircraft in SIMstarter. For instance, some of my aircraft (exp: iFly 737) require that I first load a default FSX aircraft, then change over to the complex aircraft once I am sitting at the airport. For others, I have custom dll.xml or exe.xml files that get loaded when I select a specific scenario. These customs exclude loading of DLLs non-relevant to the aircraft I am flying, so as to save memory (still a FSX user), or l…

WAMA is simply one of the best tools out there. Just wanted to say thanks (again!) I have transfered (manually) my airliners from Europe and even from USA to EDDP over the last weeks to make this nice picture, what is of course just possible with WAMA. Was always a joy to land with the next plane in EDDP and see all the others parked there.

Hello Oliver, When I start following an AI flight before clearance is given, the flight number follows the input provided during the Dispatch AI function. However, if I create a flight somewhere along the flight plan, the flight number is always zero. I like the ability to create a flight along the flight plan route. I is very convenient for those instances where the AI aircraft disappears and I must dispatch the aircraft again in the middle of the flight. However, it seems strange that flight will not accept the flight number shown in the dispatch dialog window. Everything else works as assigned in the dispatch dialog. Is this intended or a bug? Bruce

Hello Oliver, I am loving the features of AITX, especially the Follow AI option. I have no problems following IFR flights, but I have noticed a consistent problem when following VFR flights. The AI aircraft does not turn to the base leg and then to final when the Follow AI option is active. When I assign an AI aircraft to a VFR flight plan, the AI aircraft appears on the AITX listing and I click the Follow AI button when the AI aircraft is selected. Everything works perfectly for the taxi, takeoff, and flight up to the point ATC gives the clear to land instruction to the AI aircraft. The landing gear extend (when applicable) and it's apparent the aircraft i…

Hello everyone, I have a lot of ideas in mind that may be able to take place in a future edition: - I find that placed fires via Google Earth would be very nice and we would have more precision exactly. - Creation of an alarm to alert the crew in a multiplayer of a fire departure (so be able to start FirefighterX without fire and then it starts a fire by adding a crew alert). - On each fire, add the firefighters (fireman with their fire trucks) to the ground: either simply in decoration but if possible, that it can also extinguish the fire. - Add in the fire editor the ability to export fire into scene FSX, P3D ... to create fires for everyone qui…

Hello @ll, the Lorby-SI addons, most notably AiTracker X, FireFighter X and CropDuster X have been tested with P3D 4.1 successfully. An update is not necessary at this point. Instead (as they are working fine with 4.1), we will keep all addons compiled with 4.0 libraries, to ensure compatibility for all customers who decide to remain with the old version. This was already done this way with P3D V3, after many customers required special installers for older sim versions. If the apps have been installed in their default locations (and not altered manually) then a reinstall is not requrired after updating from 4.0 to 4.1. Nevertheless, there will soon be…

Hi guys I've just loaded up FirefighterX for the first time and have found some fires but I can't seem to actually drop water\retardant even though my tank shows as full. I have configured a joystick button for the Drop Tanks (release all) option but nothing happens. There's nothing in the FirefighterX Settings to configure a button so I'm puzzled! I know it's something obvious but I can't figure it out! Help! Where am I going wrong? Thanks James

Hi, I'm looking at buying CameraPositionX but just wanted to check it'll do exactly what I need first. I'm using P3D V4 with the PMDG 737NGX. What I want is to be able to assign the existing VC views to either keys (then use FSUIPC to assign the keys to switches on my HOTAS), or directly to buttons if it can do that. As a secondary issue, if I can set up a new view based on the existing pilots view in the VC, but tipped down by a few degrees that'd be even better! I've read the product page and feel pretty sure it can do what I need, just want to be sure.. Many thanks Graham

Hello @ll, WAMA 1.08 has been released today. - You can assign waypoints to the "static objects" (if they are vehicles) and the simulator will make them move along that route. - WAMA will now show your current flight plan on the Google Earth view - P3D users can record their landings automatically with the WAMA logbook (using the simulators own recording feature) Best regards

Hello Yesterday afternoon, with a friend, we tried to do a session in multiplayer in using only FFX. But unfortunately, even after adjusting well with the IP written in the bottom left of the application, nothing to do, pressing connection, my friend could not connect. We tried in both directions but nothing to do there. So we tried to light our Hamachi and get our IP Hamachi and there it worked. Either it is me who is nothing understood but I had understood in the manual that it wasn't necessary other software for the multiplayer. Thank you in advance and wishing you a good day. Otherwise your software is TOP !!!! :D Regards, Florent

Hi Oliver I am using the latest releases of FFX and WAMA. I have noticed a difference between placing the same model in FFX and in WAMA. Using FFX the same model sits a bit low, but using WAMA it is level or slightly higher? Thanks for all the updates Michael

Hallo Oliver, I had in mind to create a Conair-like drop selector, but because I’m moving I have not installed FFXv1.80 or x1.81 so far. So I am pretty happy to read that you have already implemented it. I am a little bit curious about how the gauge sets the drop duration and quantity to match the selected ground coverage level. The best data about the ground coverage level I have found is this document “Multi Engine Air Tanker Operational Guidelines & Procedures 2011” : http://dsewebapps.dse.vic.gov.au/fires/updates/report/sau/SAU_External/documents/MEAT/Multi Engine Air Tanker Operational Guidelines & Procedures 2011.pdf …

Hello @ll, FireFighter X version 1.81 has been released today. The app has already been updated on SimMarket. Please allow a few days for the other shops to follow through with their deployment. This version is probably mostly for the helicopter crowd. There is a selection of BambiBuckets and Belly Tanks that can be attached to your helicopter - at runtime - at the click of a button - to any aircraft! You can add your own SimObjects to that list too. Important: this feature will only work properly in the Prepar3D versions of FireFighter X (for P3D 2.5, 3.x and 4.x). The reason is, that the mechanics necessary for this type of application are not presen…

From page 38 in the manual: "EGT3_INC, EGT3_DEC: to increase/decrease the timer value or selector handle position EGT4_INC, EGT4_DEC: to add/subtract 5% of the percentage" Is this the way to select the drop % (25-50-75-100) from your controller? Thanks Michael

Hi Oliver Thanks for the hard work on AITrackerX. Been experimenting with binary recordings and dispatching some AI formations to fly with it, then flying live to join the formation with the binary at the head. It does work which is good. Managed to reduce the jitter down somewhat. Managed to reduce the forward jerking of the AI in the formation with dampening and other options. So it's not perfect but doable. Question is, why is my binary recording playing back at about 10-20% of the original airspeed? I know that I flew the recording at 200kts IAS but if I follow the playback with or without a formation attached to it, the playback is only flyin…
