Now I got the FlightsimPM GA autopilot panel which has rotary knobs for heading, altitude etc. So I got AAO and now I'm trying to assing the rotaries to the PMDG NGXu MCP. At first using the Key Down event only I was only able to increase the HDG by a single degree and then nothing happened anymore until I changed the value behind the event, then the heading increased by another single degree. hi I have the FS2020, I have a Streamdeck xxl and the payware version of Axis and Oh. I ve installed the SD plugin. Ran everything under admin. Installed the profile of FBW, loaded the script but there is no communication between SD and FS2020. Tried to find solution on youtube and google but cant and i am lost. any hint on what to do? thanks

AAO 2.0.6 interferes with my Stream Deck. I use original Stream Deck software for handling Stream Deck. Tried to added Stream Deck to blacklisted devices on AAO, but it causes AAO to stop working. Adding any device to AAO's blacklist produces the same result.

Hello @ll, to all users of AxisAndOhs: like all other stand alone modules, the AAO WASM module will crash MSFS 1.15.7 (13.04.2021 simulator update). Please remove "lorbysi-content-hooks" from your Community folder or the simulator will not start at all. Update: A work-around solution has been found, please check the posts below. When the change in the WASM code was announced with the last simulator update, we were assured by Asobo that the change would not affect AAO. It obviously does, and in a very bad way. At the moment we can't offer a solution. So accessing LVars or HVars through AAO is currently out of the question, but the rest of the app will f…

Hi Oliver, Is it possible to assign an Axis value to a local variable ? For example, to implement a mixture management according to the position of an axis. - Full Rich (95 - 100%) - Auto Rich (60 - 80%) - Auto Lean (10 - 40%) - Cut (0%) Of course could be use for a lot of other fucntions, when the aircraft "modeling" don't use axis but discrete values/positions. (like 2 step spoilers, just to name some). It is easy to write the RPN script as long as we can get the actual value. Regards Gérard

Hello @ll, testers tell me that the new Aerosoft CRJ for MSFS does not play nice with external controller apps. The thrust levers and the rudder of the CRJ must be configured directly in MSFS until further notice, they refuse to listen to either simulator variables or events. Personally I will have to wait until the CRJ is available to run my own tests, but I thought it best to put this warning out there in advance.

I built some rotary encoders to use with AAO and they work great but I can't figure out how to get the fast turn setting to work with them. I want a very fast rotation to trigger a different event than a normal slow rotation. For instance a fast turn could increase altitude at 500 feet and slow turns just 100 feet. I tried using AP_ALT_VAR_INC with a value of 500 for key down event and the same with value of 100 for key up event. It doesn't matter what I set the Fast Turn ms to it just triggers both key down event and key up event giving me 600 feet for each click of the rotary encoder. Any suggestions? I have downloaded the demo of Axis and Ohs and am trying to get it working with my Stream Deck but so far have failed. I am trying to get it working with Guenseli's CJ4 Stream Deck profile. I have AAO running (as Admin) with the Stream Deck plugin installed. I have imported the scripts from the CJ4 profile into AAO, and installed the CJ4 profiles into the Stream Deck. I have activated the Web API in AAO, but the two don't seem to ever communicate. I have tried with other more basic buttons, but there just doesn't seem to be any connection between AAO and the Stream Deck. On the latest version of AAO for MSFS. On my T16000 joystick, I would like to use the trigger as a Combo with the hat switch to use the hat to move my eyepoint around the cockpit (not pan). I'm not able to get this to work. First, the combo doesn't work - if I press Hat Up without the trigger held down, it still activates. "Suppress key event" isn't checked. Second, even though AAO sees Hat Up being pressed, nothing happens in the sim, even though I've assigned the combo to "EYEPOINT_UP". Third, I've tried the combo on a totally different button (one of the ones at the base of the stick) and while AAO recognizes the combo correctly, it again doesn't trigg…

As I understand it after fruitless attempts to make it work, I can not assign LVars to buttons directly, only with a script. Did I get it right? Is it in that case a function that we can hope for in a future version. I do not master scripts and would like to assign LVars directly to a button /Thomas

Today I bought AAO. I'm trying to get the throttle axis in MSFS to work. I use Honeycomb throttle. The problem is that no matter how I try to adjust the curve, the slider in MSFS moves with a delay. So I want more respositivity but how do I achieve this. I come down to value 0.2 but it's still not enough /Thomas

Hello, I am relatively new to AAO and I am setting up my first user gauges. Is there a way to make the horizantal alignment work. the tag <HorizontalAlign>RIGHT</HorizontalAlign> doesn´t seem to work. So everything is aligned left. Is it even possible to choose a different alignment or is it at least planned for a future version maybe? Kind Regards JayDee

Hallo ! Have had the software a couple of weeks and assigned some buttons on X-Touch mini for the Cessna 152/172 and JF Arrow. Yesterday I had some problems with getting the JF Arrow Lvar Autopilot_onoff to get working. Tested and experimenting with scripting, without knowing how to do it and without success. No local variables in the Arrow seems to be possible to assign without script. Is it intentional ? In the previous version of AAO I have assigned a couple off them so I could for instans remove the Efb/Ipad in the Arrow. But when starting the sim and AAO today every assignment was gone. Scripting newb here and I'm trying to get hardware buttons to increase and decrease the lower data knob (below the MFD) in order to move the checklist cursor around the check lists using the simvars H:Generic_Lwr_data_INC and H:Generic_Lwr_Data_DEC. I got a hardware button to work to check a list item complete using the H:Generic_Lwr_Data_Push simvar using the script "1 (>H:Generic_Lwr_Data_Push)" and I assumed I could use the same format for the increase and decrease, but that's not working. Any advice for this beginner? Thanks

This was a very long sprint, and the version required 43 builds to mature. I know how to get a list of a specific airplanes LVAR. But, how do I get that info over to a text file?

With the C4J by WT loaded in the sim, I do not get any of the CJ4 specific HTML vars. I know there are a lot of them. How can I get a list of these vars?

I just bought AxisAndOhs to check it out if it was any useful for MSFS projects. My first test was to bind the RPN code that is sent when you press the APPR button in the A320 airplane. The RPN code is the same that is documented in the ModelBehaviorDebug for the A320 when APPR is pressed. But the keypress (CTRL-SHIFT-P) does not trigger the APPR button in the airplane. See attached image I am probably doing something wrong. Please advice.

I received my Bravo Throttle Quodrent last week and have spent many hours setting up profiles for various types of aircraft (twin engine piston and jet, single engine basic and complex etc etc). One of my favourite aircraft is the WT CJ4 citation jet. To setup this aircraft I purchased Lorby AAO. I am now planning to setup all my controls and buttons for all my favourite aircraft with this software. However before I proceed I have a number of questions. 1. Most important question is. Hi Oliver, I have a small online flying group of old retired chaps. I have AITX and I am trying to get the AITX client to work for them, so that can see any AI planes I add around me. We tried last night but without success. There is no installer for P3Dv5 in the client zip. Does that mean it will not work for P3Dv5 or you just haven't made one yet ?. Is there a way we can convert the P3Dv4 installer to work in V5 ? Copy the contents of the Documents\ P3dV4 addons to Documents\ P3Dv5 addons., or it can't be that easy ? We use JoinFS as our online platform I welcome your suggestions. Mark
