FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 QUEEN OF THE SKIES II

Hi Bryan, I am loving your product for the PMDG 747, but I am having an issue which I would like to share with you. I have been experiencing for some time P3D V4.1 CTD when closing the Sim every time I use the PMDG 747. This is on a fresh Win10 Home and P3D V4.1 install and started to happen after a few flights. Every other addon aircraft is OK, it is only the 747 which is causing this problem. I have followed every indication I have found on the forums, but I was not able to fix the problem. Sir... I can not pop the PA panel up Just like in the NGX reboot. Whether the PA mic button or dial 46 PA for all, the PA panel do not open. I have been clicked the RST button before dialed. Now the only way to open PA panel is through the main & sec panel. it's not convenient. How can I fix. Ti-Fon Chen

Is there a way to use Bluetooth Headphones with FS2Crew? I have them paired to my PC, and while the mic works perfectly, I cannot get FS2Crew to set them as the default headset device

I have made the Observation with Fs2Crew for the 747 (P3Dv4.2) that the preflight Event timer does not account for if you pause the sim or accelerate time. Is this normal behaviour? I have done this frequenty with FSX with the 777 and the 747 and never had These Problems. Thanks for your help Adrian

I read in the PMDG post from RSR that some undefined last minute change to P3D v4.2 will impact FS2Crew. Just wondering what the issue is and if it applies to all FS2Crew versions or just the one for the 747 ? I have installed 4.2 but have not had time to test only to notice that the 747 crashed on my system and would not load from the main menu.

For some reason, after landing whilst using SOP2, the FO almost always feels the need to press a button (Which one I have no clue. Guess I need to open that FCOM up one more time) to trigger the transfer of fuel from the 1 and 4 tanks to the 2 and 3 tanks. Why on Earth does this happen? I would rather NOT have my outer tanks drained, and my outboard engines made INOP.

Hi Thinking of the PMDG 747-8i future release, will Queen of the Skies PMDG 747-400 FS2Crew be compatible with the 747-8i. If not, do you think that FS2Crew will then release after just for that aircraft? Nice to know as I would buy FS2Crew in advance since Sale still on. Greetings, I only yesterday got FS2Crew for the Queen and I encoutnered an issue right on the first two flights. To get comfortable with it I tried to do some touch and goes. It turned out that when you select the touch and go option in the approach brief the FO will refuse to read the landing checklist. It understands my voice command "landing checklist" (as shown in the green bar), but he does not react to it. As soon as I select another option, such as ILS approach, he reads the checklist without issues. I had to advance FS2Crew into the next mode manually to be able to continue on. I'm using SOP1 and the P3Dv4 version. Furthermore, reading …

Hi Bryan When FO asks for APU start during pre-start flow, the APU start switch remains in START position instead of flicking back to ON. I can simply override it by clicking on the APU switch again, but would be nice if this could be fixed with the next release. This happened with the release version already, so doesnt seem to be a 'new' bug coming with SP1. Thanks Lars

I had this issue appear once already and a reinstall fixed the problem. Now the same issue with the textures are back. How can I fix this issue? Highmemfix is also in the cfg as well and that is the only solution I can think of. https://imgur.com/F74CazB

When at cruise in the flight levels (transition altitude FL180) and setting up for the descent, I set my altimeter preset to the landing field altimeter. The FO automatically switches it from IN to HPA QNH setting equal to the IN value. For example i'm cruising at FL290 from KLAX to KLAS (shorthaul haha). I start setting up my descent and enter the preset altimeter to 29.97. When I call for the descent procedure the first officer automatically switched 29.97 to 1015. How do I prevent him from switching to QNH? Thank you as always, Matt

Hi there, I was wondering why the FO does not take care of the fuel Management during the flight, especially Setting tank-to-eng when the amounts equal? Is this not included? If it is, what could I be doing wrong since it´s not working. Thanks Adrian

Hi, On the PMDG the sound of the Capt. and FO always comes from the false direction. - Audiotest left is left front (ok) - Audiotest right comes from right back (false) - In flight the Captain comes from right front (false) - In flight the FO comes from right back (false) Is there a way to fix that? (Maybe some kind of config file :) Speakers set up correctly - tested and no other software have troubles. 5.1 system ASUS Soundcard is selected as standard audio- and communication device. 5.1 is also set in the windows audio settings and the ASUS control panel. Hi guys, I got a small problem when starting the engines one-by-one. When I ask for Engine 4 start sometimes the FO pulls the ENG 4 start and other times she pulls ENG 1 and then ENG 4. Also, when it works and she is starting ENG 1, ENG 4 is also pulled even though it´s up and running.

Hello Guys, My FO don't do the things he should do.When I begin with the Aircraft in Cold and Dark State and the FO should begin at Minute 59 with the "ELECTRICAL POWER UP SUPPLEMENTARY PROCEDURE" but he does nothing from this Procedure like turn on the Battery or something.This continues the whole fly so he didn't change the flaps to the Setting he should and so on.The only thing he does is to turn up the gear lever after takeoff :/ I'm using Prepar3D V4 and Windows 10 64-Bit.Had anyone tips how to solve this problem ? :)

G'day All This more out of curiosity than anything else. In the SOP2 (P3D) descent checklist there is an item call "Map Integrity". Can someone please shed some light on what this is. I spoke to a mate who is a 744 Capt with Qantas and he had no idea what it is as it is not part of any of their checklists. cheers

For example, Starting engines flaps done for 10 or 20, flaps up after takeoff, APU off and ..... I am using VOICE but I gave up with it any help? Please! I Have had fscrew for PMDG's 747 for just over a week now and it just refuses to start.Or should I say the main interface window refuses to open ! I have checked the config manager to enure all systems read ok, which they do. I have tried start P3D 4.1 in various ways to see if starting with a default aircraft will help, but nope it makes no difference if i start P3D with the PMDG 747 or with a Piper cub and then change. Neither does it make any difference if I start Fscrew before starting P3D I have tried re-assigning different buttons but nope it still doesn't start. I am at a loss here as to what the heck to do..

Bryan, I could not swear this depends on FS2Crew, but maybe you can just give a look at it before SP1 is released. During takeoff run, around V1, I always have a brief stutter, that does not occur if I don't load FS2Crew. Could it be the cause? Thanks and best regards, James

For some reason the cg and zfw keep fluctuating between two different weights. I've tried reinstalling the PMDG 747V3 and loading from different panel states. No matter what weight I put in, it keeps changing and the cg will go negative. Any help is appreciated thanks! Also the fuel shown in FSX is 404000 lbs which is definitely over the max fuel level.
