FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 QUEEN OF THE SKIES II

Just wondering how many of you are regularity using the Camera View Switcher panel... I've never been an EZDOK user, but I wanted a simple way to be able to quickly change cameras around the cockpit without having to press A to cycle the camera views. You guys liking that new feature?

Hi, first of all my FO does not say "starting engines 2 and 1" wich is a bit confusing. 2) Can you please add more response callouts? Like "wipers on" or at some events I've noticed that a "check" would be really helpful.

It happened two times now that the copilot stopped talking to me (once after a go around when ordering the after takeoff checklist, now a second time after a normal takeoff and when ordering the after takeoff checklist) and when I then switched between Headset and Speakers it hangs my sim and after a short while it crashes to desktop. Brian, I have noticed (and this happens with all FS2Crew products, not just with the 747) that when the FO speaks, the volume of P3D (cockpit sound...etc...) decreases. Is there a way to avoid this ? Thanks Ezio

Is there any chance for FS2Crew to take control of PMDGs ground service vehicles in a future update? It looks somewhat odd to miss them again after using PMDGs own turnaround for such a long time.

so i bought my Fs2crew for the 747 but when i tell the FO to do anything she does nothing and i dont know if im in the wrong or im forgetting something.

Hi Brian Great product as always ,thanks alot A little suggestion to the future . Have some back button lights during nights. It can be a litle hard to see sometimes I seem to recall that your other product had that or maybe i am wrong ? Hmm just did a saved flight and now there is plenty of lights around the plates . Just needed some information that I might have missed in the manual regarding some commands that I cant seem to find. FYI I am using voice control: 1) Is there no command to instruct the FO to disconnect the auto pilot ? 2) Are there no commands to instruct FO to set certain EFIS modes on the captains side similar to the 777 such as ;set EFIS mode to approach or display weather on my side ? My apologies in advance if I have missed this stuff in the manual but I did look for it a couple of times :). Regards, Asad

I'm enjoying FS2Crew for the queen so far. Just wanted to point out a few little things to maybe keep in mind. During FO preflight, she turns packs to NORM even though APU and bleed air is off, also on shutdown when she turns the APU off, she leaves the packs in NORM She turns transponder on before the "before start procedure". Not a big deal as i can just command her to bring up the relevant system page but if the flight controls are set to secondary engine page, she still displays status page for the flight control check (maybe SDK limitation?) I have uploaded my Captains only flows for the 747 QOTSII in both SOP1 and SOP2 to the Avsim library. Should be available tomorrow for download. These flows are all you need to get going with FS2Crew and I use them on every flight. They have been thoroughly tested in dozens of flights over the past number of months. As a bonus the spreadsheet also includes the Captains flows for the NGX SOP 1,2,3, the Majestic Q400, PMDG 777 and Aerosoft Airbus. I will post the library link here once I have it. Enjoy.

I have zero sound, but when I first installed the 777 version I had I remember. This time I installed the 747 version and had no sound. I tried everything you wrote in your manual and FAQ, including updating my drivers. I have now spent well over 90 EUR on a product with no sound. Please help.

Testing MCE with the Queen at the moment and it is impressive but I think I want more. I really would like a copilot that would take more things on such as doing the checklist rather then me doing it,,or take over flying while I hit the loo (is it loo or?). What all can this software offer me? Because I never have used a program like this I am not sure what to ask but I will say I want something like this because I now fly with Oculus VR and it has earphones and mike built in.

I'm using Voice control. A bit confusion regarding the voice sets. US is a female voice set, UK a male voice set. Is the EU set supposed to be a female voice set (I hope :-) ) ? I get the initial 'Let's start setting things up' by a female voice, but the rest continues with male voice. Mike
