Hi FS2Crew-Team and Pilots, since I have installed FS2Crew for the QOTSII I have a Problem with my EICAS-Messages as you see on the photo below. Can‘t quit any of these messages. Currently flying OMDB to VHHH as my first testflight. And YES, everything is configured as it should be. Never had this problem before, but since FS2Crew I installed today ;) 1) Fuel in the Res TANK was 3.9 tons each. Now, with 600kg each the advisory is still there. So, it is definitely a problem with the stab tanks that the freighter does Not has - so no fuel pumps ;) According to Boeing‘s FCOM this message means: Right stab tank qty is 3.6t or less in climb with Right …

Hello, I don't know if it's an issue or not. After starting the PF events from a cold and dark situation, if I pause the sim with key 'P', when I unpause, all voices commands do not work anymore. I can see what I speak in the green bar but it seems that the F/O has suddenly become deaf. All other voice script are playing normally, for example, the F/O asks if he can turn on the APU but of course I am not able to answer. How can I recover the voice control ? Hello, Not sure if this topic has been covered. But I have noticed that with FS2Crew enabled, the forward section of the fuselage on the 747 becomes transparent. The transparency problem is gone when I restart FSX without FS2Crew enabled. I came across a similar topic being covered in the PMDG forum, but didn't see a conclusion. Seems to be tied to FS2Crew as highlighted in that post. https://dev.avsim.net/forums/topic/509441-forward-fuselage-is-see-through/

As I'm used to great quality products from Fs2crew and love flying with it, so I just bought Fs2crew for PMDG QOTS II. But I was suprised by sound quality! Sounds as if each sound was recorded in a bathroom! Do you have the same surprise?

Hi, Thank you for the great add on! I am having a problem with the APU with FS2Crew button control. When I start with the PMDG “short” panel state, the APU will not start. I didn’t have this issue before FS2Crew was installed. Am I doing something wrong? I don’t remember having the issue with that “long” panel state. Thanks, Jody

Hi, FSX version of FS2Crew has been working great since the day of release when i bought it. But in the true nature of the computer, somehow somewhere along the line something gets messed up with no perceivable changes made by me. i keep getting a CTD whenever I try to load the voice control version of FS2Crew. The button control panel comes up, but every time i switch over to the voice version, the sim CTD. I've checked the event viewer and these files seem to be the problem. Any idea on how i can replace/repair these files? Windows cannot access the file C:\Users\Flight\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Speech\Files\MSASR\SP_80199F8374C644B3BD2A0847680D2D1B.dat for on…

Hey there! I was just wondering, if in the upcoming SP1, you could include the ability to start engines in any order when using SOP2? I would like to start the engines in the order of 4123. Currently, the FO will start engines 4 then 1 on my command, but will not start 2 or 3 afterwards. A lot of airlines that use air driven auxiliary hydraulic pumps start the engines in this order. Regards, Rob

So, after a few flights, I noticed a few quirks, and quick read of the forum seems to indicate some of these are known, and will be addressed. Others, I have not seen. FO does not react to "set seatbelts signs [on / off]", or any variation thereof. FO does not react to "turn strobes [on / off]", or any variation thereof. Something around setting the altimeters on the descent logic seems to be "off". Reading the tutorial, and trying to set the altimeters early, yields no action from FO. I still can't quite put my finger on this. During secure checklist, at IRS step, FO repeats "OFF OFF" twice very fast, but misses saying "Emergency Exit Lights". It …

Is there any chance to get something more happening enroute? I would apprechiate if the FO could regularly (say each 30-60 mins) check the EICAS pages, maybe the FA coming up from time to time asking if everything is alright and if we need anything, etc. Maybe even the FO taking some controlled rest? Just some sort of stuff that brings a bit more life into our cruise flights on long hauls.

I wanted to post this for the primary purpose of thanking the guys at FS2Crew. The US version of this 747 QOTS is by far the best FS2Crew experience I have had to date. The F/O not only sounds professional, but also sounds upbeat and happy to be in that right seat. Some of the voice packs I have used make it sound you are working with a person who is having a serious bad hair day and just doesn't want to be there with you. So this was a very nice change. I finally got this product today and managed to use it as my featured product for my live stream all day long. One thing i did notice, as a side note, is on the secure checklist. I tested this on three flights,…

Dear 747 Simmers, The 747 QOTS II version has been out for a few days now. It's selling very well and the user base is growing larger by the minute! Thank you for your support. It's been a very smooth release, and the number of user reported issues are very small as you can see in the support forum here. You can thank our beta team for that for doing an outstanding job identifying bugs! We tested this product for a very long time prior to release. However, I'd appreciated some feedback from our general users... I'd be interested to know which SOP1 you guys -and girls- are you using the most? SOP 1 or 2?

Hi Bryan, Just bought your 747 qots II. After installation when I click on the icon I get this message: FS2Crew_747_configurator has stopped working. My p3d folder is excluded from my avast and I've uninstalled FS2Crew and reinstalled using administrator rights but to no avail. Alex

Really enjoying this latest addition and I'd like to make a couple of suggestions... I refer to the female FO because that's who I'm using right now. Setting flaps after engine start: If, for any reason you neglect to call for "Flaps 10" or "Flaps 20" immediately following the after start actions and BEFORE the after start checklist, that's it! She (or he) simply won't respond to a flap deployment request thereafter. Though this may be because of a failure to follow the exact SOP, I can't any real life situation where the FO would completely ignore the Captain's requests for flaps, even if that request is a little late and out of the SOP's sequence. I have asked for …

Hey Brian! I'm seriously considering purchasing the QOTS II product today but have a few questions first. I almost always fly my 747 in United Airlines colors. I also use their procedures, as I have the manual. I was just wondering if the end user can adjust some of the FO actions? For example, when United Airlines pressurizes the Hydraulics before start, their procedure, since they have the air-driven demand pump, is to select the NO. 4 to AUX, and the NO. 1 to Auto. NO. 2 and NO. 3 stay in off until the after start/before taxi flow. I was just wondering if the user can set this up? Technically, at UAL, pressurizing the hydraulics before push is part of the…

G'day All Recently bought F2C for the Queen. All working well with the exception of the engine start command for engines 3 &4. No matter what sequence l use, both together or individually, no action occurs. The voice command appears on text line but is not acknowledged by the FO. Command for engine 1 & 2 works fine. Any assistance greatly appreciated. cheers Steve

Hi, as the title mentiones I wanted to ask why the FS2Crew has raised it's pricing by 10 USD. I don't complain or something just wanted to ask. I hope it has nothing to do with the camera panel because I use Chaseplane, as many else do, and paying for something I do not need isn't really my aim. Further are there any more voice sets like Austrailian or any else planned? Every FS2Crew product had at least 4-5 voices at day 1 while the 747 only has 3 o.O. regards

I've got a few at once here, so forgive me for not opening a seperate topic per item :) After landing I could so far not trigger a "clear right" response from the FO when saying "clear left". This call should be available all the time when taxiing, don't you think so? At least where I fly we use it all the time to check if taxiways we are about to cross are clear. Stobe lights when crossing runways. Any chance that the FO turns ON the Strobe light when you announce "confirm clear to cross/enter runway xx?" In real life it is good practice to turn the light on when crossing an active runway. Maybe it would even be possible for him/her to turn it …

Hi The OPS Manual says:: NOTE: DUE TO TECHNICAL LIMITS IN THE PMDG 747, FOR COMM 2, YOU CAN ONLY SET STANDBY COMM 2. YOU MUST THEN USE THE SWAP COMMAND TO MAKE THE FREQUENCE ACTIVE. As an alternative procedure that allows you to set both COM2 and COM2 Standby using the normal commands the following can be done: On the Captain's side: 1. Select COM 2 Receive - not MIC (COM 1 MIC and Receive can be left as is). This then allows the normal commands to work on both COM 2 and COM2 Standby. 2. Deselect COM 2 Receive on completing changes to the frequencies. Hope this of some help. Ray

When I set my altimeters and the FO responds "xxxx set, passing altitude xxx descending xxx" I always get to hear a wrong passing altitude, which mostly is about 300-400ft off compared to the correct altitude. My FS units are set to imperial already, so a metric setting there is not the issue. This happens regardless of the actual QNH, even if I just reset it from 1013 to 1012 I get some 300-400ft difference, so the QNH can't explain the issue either. Any ideas what may be wrong here?

Just a small request/suggestion: Currently you will get the "Transition" call when climbing/descending and passing the respective altitude/level regardless of whether you already set the altimeter to the correct setting or not. Example: I'm descending from FL100 to altitude 5.000ft and the Transition Level is FL70. I then set my altimeter to QNH as soon as I get my descend clearance. With FS2Crew I also run the respective "Set Altimeter" procedure and finish the Approach Checklist right after that. Still I get the 'transition' callout from my FO when passing through FL70. The same happens the other way round when I'm climbing and already set the altimet…
