FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 QUEEN OF THE SKIES II

When I speak "confirm cleared to cross/enter runway xxx", the FO helpfully switches on the strobe light while I cross. However, she only switches it on for about 5 seconds or so, barely enough time to get the entire length of the Queen past the first hold-short bar. She should leave it on for like 15-20 seconds.

Hi guys, I would like to describe something I noticed and I would like to get any feedback from you in how to fix ou what happened. Its not really an issue. While flying the 744 with normal livery downloaded and installed via Ops Center, during engine start, fs2crew shows "start engine 4 and 3", at the same time, as usual. Great!! I have downloaded another livery, the *ptp file, installed via Ops Center and it does not happen on engine start, the option shown is one engine at a time. Any feedback?? Best regards

Hi Bryan I got 2 questions today: What is the trigger for the FO to set the FUEL XFER Main 1 and 4 button to on after landing? I had it more than 1 time that I landed in fuel tank/eng config and all fuel tanks were balanced. Then to FO set the FUEL XFER to on after landing which resulted in a fuel imbalance warning shortly after. 2nd questions is regarding the Transponder TCAS item in the before start checklist below the line. When in the departure menu the ADSR-X is set to on, the FO sets the Tcas switch to XPNDR which is correct. However there is no voice command for this settings? Only standby or TA / RA Traffic are possible voice options? Thanks fo…

Hello!! I have installed my Fs2Crew 747 on P3dv5 and started getting couple issues: 1 - No callout and no actions ate 10000ft during climb. When I start descent, it happens! 2 - Altimeter setting crosscheck. Wrong altitude, thousand feet difference. 3 - FAF altitude callout waaay before approach. 4 - 1000ft call also way before. Does anybody know anything about that??

It’s the first time I have been running the 747 QoTS 2 -400 version in awhile and upon loading the program I wasn’t wearing my headset and it said something to the tone of something wrong please contact support forum. I ran the diagnostics and everything came back ok. I might not be running the latest version, could that be it?

Good morning, I recently updated my PMDG 747 QOTS II for FSX. When I turned on the crew, I got a message saying there was an SDK Error. When I updated the Crew, I didn't uninstall the crew because I saw on the forums, that it wasn't required at all in order to update it. How can I fix the SDK error so that the Crew can function again smoothly. I look forward to hearing back as soon as possible.

When I fly in cargo aircraft I can still hear some PAs beeing made. But they are very low in volume (much lower than the normal Pax PAs) and not understandable. Any ideas were they might come from? I also hear double callouts like 2500. One is from the aircraft itself, this is know, but for the second one I have no idea. RAAS is completly switched off. Happens only in the 747. Any ideas?

Silly question here. FS2crew says that the trim is out of range when attempting to operating the aircraft (747-400) at very light weights. The FMC is commanding a trim setting of 3.1, but when the captain reads back the trim in the before start checklist, he says "out of range" Does this mean the aircraft should not be operating at this center of gravity?

I am having an issue with the speech recognition. When I actually speak, it gets picked up perfectly, however even when I am not saying anything I will see words such as, "hold" and other random phrases appearing in the green text bar. Do I need to keep my mic muted when I am not talking?

Bryan, what is going on with the PMDG 747-8i F and FS2Crew? Your product, latest version 1.6, for P3Dv4.5 worked fine with the -400 model yesterday, yet the same Key Assignments, pressing Button 'N' does not bring the Main Panel on at all. Tried loading the -8iF in P3Dv4.5, set the Start-up Panel to Long, disabled your product; re-booted; re-enabled your product---zilch. Is there a bug in version 1.6 because I had the -8i F and FS2Crew working seamlessly in P3Dv4.5HF2 before?

Today I was about to pushback and start engines but the FO failed to close both Nose and FWD cargo doors (the rest of the doors did get closed). I tried closing them manually through PMDG Doors page but FS2Crew is overriding that function so I can not close them. The APU Gen1 power is ON, the rest are Avail. This happened once before weeks ago and all I could do was restart sim and begin again. What can be done to solve this when it happens again without having to start from the beginning? Both my PMDG B748F and FS2Crew B747 are on the latest versions. Thanks, Jerry

Hi Bryan, Hope your well,just a quick one i recently purchased the FS2 crew for the PMDG 747 which i may add is really good but for one small issue,the cruise message,when pressed the pilot mentions nothing about reaching TOC, but goes on about putting the seatbelts sign on due to turbulance. Hi Bryan it seems to be a bug with button control with the latest version in V5. As soon as I hit landing data button it freezes and crashes to desktop. This has happened to me now on a few occasions. This is also happening with HF2. Any help?

Dear Bryan. I‘ve just set up my new Hardware, everything went fine, except for the FS2Crew installation for the PMDG 747 ( FS2Crew v1.6A ). Speech Training on WIN10 worked fine, Speech Recognizer is set as described in the FS2Crew Manual ( set to OFF / run at startup unchecked ). Speechrecognizer us set to English(US). FS2Crew is set up correctly, with VOICE(H) displayed in yellow on the left corner of the FS2Crew Display. However, the FO does not listen to me. Nothing of what I‘ve said is displayed in the green speech bar. Microphone in P3D is set to default Windows device. Hard/Softmute is off. Furthermore: I‘ve installed UGCX too…

I just installed the new client update for p3dv5 today and FS2crew is no longer recognizing my parking brake or doors being closed, however it is reading the heading and altimeter correctly. I did double check that I installed the v5 version, however the installer did not automatically detect my p3dv5 folder.

Hi Byran, I purchased the pmdg 747 button version a few days ago and i cant seem to get it to function. I have read and tried every post of what to do to fix the issue but to no avail,uninstalling,deleteing the 747 in the sim objects,i have even tried not updating my 747 to the lastest update still nothing works. I own the 737,777,787 and the Airbus FS2 Crew and they all work great its just the 747 SDK Error everytime,any ideas. Thanks Gary NB.The system check passed..

Hello Bryan. I‘m having troubles with my F/O whilst performing touch&gos ( P3D v4.5 ): All is fine after departure, but when configuring for approach with Flaps 1 and Flaps 5, the F/O does not reply to „Bug 1“ or „Bug 5“. All he says is „are you sure?“. During the first approach, all is fine, but during the succeeding approaches, the F/O demonstrates the above behaviour. Any help is appreciated. Best regards, Toto

Hi, I have just downloaded the latest update from PMDG for the B747 QOTS and 747-8. There are some compatibility issues with FS2Crew V1.5 for the 747. For example a door is reported open that is not, brakes not applied when they are. Do I need to do anything or is an update forthcoming in due course? Stay safe everyone, Regards, Keith

Hi Bryan, The new installer is adding the window lines to the -400 model panel config and works fine, but for me it is not adding it to the -8 one. Should it be creating it in both?
