I'm after some help with using FS2 crew button control in both the PMDG 747 and the FS Labs airbus. I fly on IVAO and the ATC client will not allow me to assign a button to push to talk so I have to use FSUIPC to map the joystick button to a key press. This however means that if I transmit during takeoff roll or on final approach to landing the FO thinks I am calling for reject / go-around. I can't seem to stop this happening - is any button pressed going to trigger this?

	Thanks

Whenever I use Fs2Crew with my PMDG 747-400 whilst in "onboard Cockpit" captain view, it quickly goes into an outside view, specifically aiming at my aircraft engine. It happens every time when I pull up the main FS2Crew panel and press secondary. If I can do a screen recording of such, I will do so upon request for further inquiry.

First of of all, great product as usual !

I have some questions about the 747 fs2crew:

It is mentioned in the manual that several pre flight checks are not performed by the flight crew, but by the maintenance engineers (tcas test, fire warnings,...). Is there a possibility to add this as an option, perhaps some kind of 'pre- preflight' ? So for example in the same manner as the fo starts up the plane, there is first an engineer that does some checks and then leaves the aircraft in a situation that the pilots normally see it? Or is this something that will be done by UGCX (some kind of maintenance crew)?

Or if not possible can all the pre flight checks be performed by the F.O. with some option?

Another question, some options are marked as 'reserved' (ex. climb thrust, failures). What exactly does this mean, are they features that will be added or am I missing something?

	Thank you !

	Kind regards,

	Good evening gents,

I have just bought a new computer, and therfore, bought also PMDG 747 plus FS2Crew package. I installed it with no problems, I can see it in a plane. But.. I don't seem to get forward from "preflight" checklists. I heard co-pilot to go outside, she came inside also, but that's it. I don't use voice commands, and also cannot go forward with key commands. I am not native english speaker, so something I missed from the manual, but cannot figure what.. I used to have A320 package and it worked via MCDU which was preatty word not allowed proof. Can some of you kick hard my word not allowed to point it to right direction?

	I upgraded to P3D v5.3 and got the PMDG747 working fine. I then re-installed Fs2Crew from a new copy.

However. it does not show in P3D even after running it twice. I tried to run the configurator but it is insisting that I am not running it from the correct place, (which I am),

then says that it cannot find the Option.ini file for PMDG.

I have not changed anything, it loaded automatically after I chose v5 option.

Which directory should it be in. I have a Lockheed Martin and a Prepar3dv5?

	Thanks.

Just a reminder in case the FO keeps telling you the parking brake is still on even though it's off.

Do not use default panel states. No saved panel states for startup. You can see if you have any in the PMDG Options.ini.

If you want to use the PMDG Long or Short panel state, manually select it *AFTER* the PMDG has loaded.

The only glitch observed is that the FO is not turning on the Window Heat L/R switches as Tutorial SOP Set 1 page 13 says in the FO’s long list of tasks. I did not find any WH correspondent item in the configuration set list.

	Hello!

I would like to use Landing, Runway turn off, Taxi, Logo lights until 10000ft (Can you add it to SOP? 🙂)

I turned off "FO TURNS ON LDG/TAXI LIGHTS" in CONFIG - MISC option but FO still turn off RWY turn off, Taxi lights when i say "Flaps up"

Many airlines Turn on/off Landing, Runway Turn off, Taxi lights when passing 10000ft because 747's Runway turn off, Taxi lights does not illuminate until their main gear is touchdown on ground

Also many airlines use Logo light even they passed 10000ft

Could you add it to option or add it to SOP on next update??

	good evening Bryan,

using the 747 (both 744 and 748) with SOP 1 I found 3 things. I haven't checked the other SOP.

	1. when calling for engine starts I go 3-4-2-1 and when I call for "start engine one" the starter switch for engine 4 gets pulled again too.More noticable in the 744 as the light illuminates but it happens on all versions.

	2. When doing an ILS approach and the localizer diamond becomes active my FO calls "Glideslope active" and when the GS moves he calls LOC active.

	3. at T-9 minutes the rear left cargo door opens in the freighter and sometimes at T-2 ish the nose cargo door opens.

I use version 1.6 in P3Dv4.5HF3, PMDG addon is up-to-date.

	Cheers and thank you

IMPORTANT: You must be running the latest version of the PMDG 747. If in doubt, run the PMDG Operations Center to check if your 747 is up-to-date!

 Minor bug fixes.

	Version 1.4 (Special)

	Fixes and Changes:

Applies to FSX Version only: A bug was introduced into the last update that resulted in 748 panel entries being added to the 748's panel.cfg file in the FSX version. That should never have happened, but it accidentally did. The result was that FS2Crew entries were added to the 8 model's panel.cfg file in FSX, resulting in the window panel limit being exceeded, which resulted in the EFB no longer working. We just updated the file on the server that addresses this issue with the FSX Config Manager. If you use the FSX version and you also own the 8 model upgrade from PMDG, we suggest you re-download the product via your FS2Crew account. Again, this is for FSX owners only. Nothing changes for P3D V4 users.

If you already have V1.4 installed and you use the 8 model expansion in FSX, we suggest you:

	1. Disable FS2Crew via the FS2Crew Config Manager. That will restore your panel.cfg file to its original, pre-FS2Crew state.

	2. Re-download FS2Crew for the 747 QOTS II via your FS2Crew account.

	3. Run the FSX Config Manager again and re-enable FS2Crew. Your 400 model panel.cfg files should be updated with the FS2Crew entries, but your 8 model panel.cfg should remain untouched.

	Version 1.4.

	Fixes and Changes:

 800 Model: Panel Switcher fixed.

Missing Arrival Cabin PA added (US and North American voice sets).

Button control: Autostart for the 8 models.

 Takeoff Safety Brief Added.

"Unstable" call logic during approach improved.

"Social" section removed from the 737 Config Manager due to updated Facebook/Twitter policies.

	Version 1.3.

	Fixes and Changes:

The 8 model is now supported for free, but with some limitations:

747-8 USERS READ THIS PART CAREFULLY!!!

	1. FS2Crew 747 QOTS II only supports the 8 model in P3D V4, not FSX. The reason is due to a panel window limit in FSX. Again, this is all the more reason to move to P3D V4. FSX is old and out-of-date. FSX is yesterday's news. It's time to move forward to P3D 64 bits. It's the future.

Do NOT try manually copying the FS2Crew entries into the 8 model's panel.cfg in FSX or you'll mess up the plane!

	2. Due to SDK, legal, and technical limits, the FS2Crew FO cannot interface with the Electronic Checklist System (ECL), so you'll be using the same paper checklists you used in the 400.

	3. How to add FS2Crew to the 8 mode in P3D V4: You must run the FS2Crew PMDG 747 QOTS II Config manager again and re-enable FS2Crew. This is necessary to add the FS2Crew entries to the 8 model's panel.cfg file.

	Fixes and Changes:

During the Pre-Flight procedure, if you ask the FO to turn on the APU when the FO prompts you, the FO will set the APU start switch to ON after 3 seconds instead of roughly 12 seconds.

Descent procedure: Baro Inches/ HPA issue resolved.

Touch and Go's fixed. Remember: The FMC must be completed in full for it to work. FS2Crew still needs the speeds computed in the FMC.

 Cabin PA's fixed.

During the pre-flight flow, the FO will now set the EIU knob to AUTO on his side. This should resolve any issues users had with a "NO LAND 3" EICAS warning.

If flying a model whose EAI and WAI switches have an available AUTO position, the FO will now set the NAI and WAI to the ON position, and not leave them in AUTO, if NAI/WAI are required as per your Departure Brief selection. Based on our 747 consultant's report, this is the actual correct procedure.

If the pre-flight procedure is run, door 2L should now open properly.

For the approach checklist, you can now use the backup phrase "SET AND CHECKED" if you don't feel like reading back the actual altimeter value.

For the landing checklist, you can now say "NOT ARMED" or "DISARMED" when responding to the position of the speed brake if doing a touch and go.

	Hi guys,

I really enjoy your product but I have two issues. The first is FO asks: "Shall I leave the flaps down" after landing, I reply "No", FO answers: "Cool/okay" or anything like that so it's confirmed that my voice got recognized but don't put the flaps up. After about 10-15 seconds FO asks again: "Shall I leave the flaps down", I reply "No", FO answers: "Cool/okay" and put the flaps to the "up" position. So Fo asks two times but does nothing at the first time and just replies.

The second isn't really a issue but it does not makes sense that the FO turns on the taxi and runway turnoff lights after passing FL100 because in the most cases the gear is still up (probably useful for any mechanic still sitting in the gear bay :D). Normally taxi and turnoff lights got turned on in the final after the gear is down. Could you probably change this? 🙂

Thanks,
Dennis

	Good Morning,

is there any reason why the f/o is switching of the Packs during its Preflight Flow?

It's quite annoying when you are on a freezing cold airport and wondering why the aircraft not geting warm 😉

Hello to everyone here, i would like to ask how i can pick specific microphone input device for my fs2crew

On my computer i have 2 microphones, actually 2 headsets. one for the simulator and one for games, skype calls etc.
those 2 microphone are plugged in 24/7 and every application let me choose which microphone i prefer to use . except the fs2crew

So the question is , does the fs2crew picks the default device or the default communication device for input

	Hello.

On the B747-8 the F/O configures the Fuelpumps incorrectly during the before start procedure:

With 26tons FOB, the F/O activates the override pumps & opens the x-feed valves, which leads to a "FUEL TANK/ENG" EICAS-Message. Thus, I have to deactivate the override pumps and close the x-feed valves ( which extinguishes the EICAS Message ).

Most current PMDG 747 update and FS2Crew v1.7.

	Best regards,

	Hello.

I‘ve noticed that during touch&goes the F/O does only respond to bug-speed commands during the first circuit.

During the succeeding circuits you will get „ehm, are you sure?“ as reply.

E.g. during the first circuit, the F/O will set the speed bug to Flaps 5 maneuvering speed after the call „Bug 5“.

During the succeeding circuits he will deny any bug setting.

	Best regards,

We have all these things we can say to the FO to get her to reconfigure the fuel tanks as the 747 burns down: "Fuel Low Stabilizer Left", "Fuel Tank to Engine", etc. But the -ER model has Aux fuel tanks as well, with corresponding EICAS messages FUEL AUX L and FUEL AUX R. There should be a "Fuel Low Aux Left/Right" voice command that prompts the FO to turn off the pumps.

Also, related, I think there should also be a "Fuel Low Stabilizer [Both]" (same for Aux) that prompts the FO to turn off both pumps. It's awkward to say "Fuel Low Stabilizer Left … (wait for her flow) … Fuel Low Stabilizer Right".

When I speak "confirm cleared to cross/enter runway xxx", the FO helpfully switches on the strobe light while I cross. However, she only switches it on for about 5 seconds or so, barely enough time to get the entire length of the Queen past the first hold-short bar. She should leave it on for like 15-20 seconds.

	Hi guys,

I would like to describe something I noticed and I would like to get any feedback from you in how to fix ou what happened. Its not really an issue.

While flying the 744 with normal livery downloaded and installed via Ops Center, during engine start, fs2crew shows "start engine 4 and 3", at the same time, as usual. Great!!

I have downloaded another livery, the *ptp file, installed via Ops Center and it does not happen on engine start, the option shown is one engine at a time.

	Any feedback??

	Best regards
