FS2CREW: PMDG 747-400 QUEEN OF THE SKIES II

Hi All, I have after the last PMDG update experienced that the FO gives wrong anti-ice callouts. When running the after start checklist the FO calls out engine anti-ice on, wing anti-ice on dispite both being off. When they are on they are called out as being off.

Hi all, since the last mayor update to the PMDG 744 I am having a problem with RAAS (the restricted version). The module is not loading (not appearing in the P3D menu) for BFC and F model. However it is loading and working for PAX and ERF models... (BTW it also loads and works with Aerosoft Airbus A319) In ALL models the option in the aircraft RAAS INSTALLED is set to YES !! What could be the problem here? Any help would be highly appreciated ! best regards

Hi there, unfortunately the RAAS is not working on my 747 aircraft. The 748 has RAAS "installed" in Airline option and also one of my 744 aircraft. In my P3Dv4 folder there is a RAAS folder with sub directories. So system wise it seem to be installed. What else can I check to fnd out why no runway announcement is heard when on the runway? For the 744 it seems that RAAS automatically sets the volume to zero on the 747 profile. Could that be the issue? Is there a bad detection of the license since the RAAS version is locked to PMDG? Can you adwise?

Hello I have a problem with the FS2 Crew Voice Version for the 747 I can work everything through to the checklist before the start. But in the checklist before the start, it is so that I can not cope with MCP. V2 will recognize HDG and TRK, but Altitude will not continue ... Altitude is recognized as two two in the green status bar when I say altitude and 6000Thousand and I dont know why !!! When I use the voice control and say altitude, the word is recognized !! Hello Folks: When calculating my VREF speed, the EFB and FMS have display two different VREF speeds. Today, the EFB was showing a VREF of 166 while the FMS was saying 145. I copied the data from the FMS to the EFB but I couldn't get the two figures to agree. I know...I must be doing something wrong. Thanks.

Hello all, I need a little help with FS2Crew for PMDG 747-400 v3. When I set throttle to idle it triggers the next action in FS2Crew, I am using FSUIPC to set up my axis and reverse thrust set in Buttons+Switches using CH Throttle Quadrant. Apart from this, everything is working fine. I cannot find anything in the forums relating to this. Have I missed something!? Using: P3Dv4.3 Regards Daniel Lai Lam

Dear Team, It have been announced that with the release of the 747-8 today, PMDG will issue a new installer for the 747-400 as well, in order to reinstall the product after modifications. Will this need to wait for a newer version of FS2Crew as well or can the current version be used with it? Was this verified? Appreciate your advice

Hi Bryan, do you think you will make an FS2Crew for the 747-8, when it's out? Do you think the SDK will be like the 777, where FS2Crew can't have control over the electronic checklists? Thanks and best regards, James

Hi there, I've checked all over forums and cant seem to find a solution for an issue I'm having. On the 747 and only that aircraft, after I've shut down, I notice engine 4 has been pulled to restart again. At first I thought I might have done something wrong so i used the tutorial step by step and its still happening.This is after FO has said clear to cut engines. Any help with this will be greatly appreciated.

I only hear a few cabin crew calls but not all. Is there supposed to be a safety briefing during or after engine start? What about descent? I do get meal service, after landing, but it seems some dialogue is missing. Please clarify.

I recently bought PMDG QOTSII for FSX.SE, and FS2Crew PMDG 747X1.1. All updates are installed, but I am having a problem with the FS2Crew Start Center setup, ' Set Panel Config File for FS2Crew 747, will not recognize where my recently installed FS2Crew PMDG 747 edition files, in the FSX Folder are. The error says " sorry unable to find this file: E:\STEAMFLIGHT\steamapps\common\FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\PMDG747-400\panel\panel.cfg , Please make sure you have FS2Crew PMDG 747 Edition correctly installed in the FSX Folder." It then repeats the same for the "panel.vc\panel.cfg , I have checked the registry and all is OK. Also, all my other aircraft, including …

Hi, after opening the FS2Crew window in the SIM (P3Dv4.3) I do suffer a performance hit on 15 to 20 fps while I undock the window! Any idea how to avoid that drop? Never had that before. Thanks Bjoern

Hi! first off all thanks for Fs2crew to PMDG 747, but here is the problem... When i start fs2crew i cant hear captain say nothing or the cabin, for example when cabin ask me to board,or are we clear to close. I cant hear anythinh off this :o My sound is coming out from my Monitor and HS is on on the fs2crew bar but still no sound from Cabin... only thing i can hear is captain read the breif.. and when i start Fs2crew the captain will say: ( Lets start setup) but not even that coming out ? so what is wrong with my fs2crew? if i say yes after the cabin have ask to close the door or ready to board i hear ( okei thanks from cabin) hope you understand my English is not good^^

Hi there, I use the PMDG747 in P3Dv4.2 and with FS2Crew, it's not possible to have the audio output being put on the headset, even when choosing the headset as output device in the FS2Crew config. I have set the system up to put all sound except radio transmissions to the main speaker. P3D ATC as well as VOXATC put their audio voices on the headset. Hi Bryan, I am wondering if you have some ideas why P3Dv4.1 is failing to close down properly each time with a warning message being generated? Hi, I tested this on two flights and it looks like the FO does not control the fuel pumps when a msg on the EICAS appears. For example: "FUEL TANK TO ENGINE" I was expecting the FO would configure the pumps and the crossfeed valves to avoid fuel imbalance, but he didn't. I've waited about 2-3 minutes after the msg was on the EICAS but still nothing so I did it myself. Correct me if I'm wrong but as from the manual the FO should be able to control the pumps? I am using SOP2 btw. Thanks

Not sure if it's me, PMDG, FS2Crew or P3d v 4.2 Going through the FS2Crew tutorial I get a WARN light and sound when I start engine 4. There is no indication as to what the problem is. The light can't be turned off and stays on for the duration of the flight. What am I missing? Thank you. Bill McCracken

Some time I setup a flight and pause at TOD via PMDG. If I'm using FS2Crew will it save the current state as well? Other times I setup flights in stages. Save when I ready for push back. Save before take off. Can I do this with FS2Crew? Thank You. Bill McCracken

Hi Bryan; Currently utilizing the latest PDMG 747 for (Prepard 3/4v) with FS2 Crew. Just curious about Crew messages heard for the cabin. Currently taking place in my system it's that once activating the 60 minutes of the "Preflight Events" countdown, on Minute #6 the FA gives the passengers the "Safety information of the aircraft Review" and then at minute 5 "Onboard Welcome". Is this the correct order of events and if not correct, any remedy available to correct it?
