Hello Alex, I am working on a custom set of historically correct navaids for US (1958 to be precise) and wonder whether it is possible to create a custom scenery library database containing only these 1958 navaids? I understand that the LNM detects which sims are installed and based on that allows to switch between appropriate scenery libraries (in my case FSX, MSFS, P3D and XPL11 and XPL12). I would like to create a new one called e.g. MSFS1958 for which I then would let LNM scan the modified MSFS to populate the MSFS1958 scenery library database. Can I achieve this? When I mod MSFS to include "my" 1958 navaids and let the MSFS scenery library databas…

Hello, during the last two LNM versions i've been using, i think at first i noticed it in 2.80 and now i'm using 3.03rc1- i'm not able to properly search for certain airports. Well, i can search, but there aren't results. LKPR, LDSP, LDDU, and many other airports aren't listed at all. I can still click on them directly on the map, but there are many airports missing from the search. I did validate/load the scenery after the updates. How it works: I click on search, enter airport ICAO - don't get any result. And if i add just LK and try to search that way, SOME Czech airports appear in the results, but not the major ones. Same goes for Croatia. I'm not using a…

Hi there, Alex et all. I now have 3.0.1 beta now installed on a brand new computer build.. so all is fresh and running MSFS sim.(only) On my old pc that blew up last week, I had the previous default sim airport db for FSX, P3Dv4, v5 as well as MSFS which is my current sim. I kept the previous lnm airport databases on my old system so I could refer to them for choosing common airports between sims for building group flights and tours at a virtual airline for multiple sim versions. (There are many that still use FSX, and P3D/various versions) On my new build, I overlooked backing up these sim airport db before formatting my old drive. Arg. Would anyone …

Anyone know about this? I don't know what is encrypted and I do not want to break into their scenery, they are likely trying to protect it from being pirated...but is there a way to add these airports manually to LNM as airports...not just points? I want to make routes using them and then export to a .pln so it can be Loaded into MSFS. Below is the error that pops up on scenery scan of MSFS... ---------------------Result of Scenery Scan---------------------------- Found 46 notes in 46 scenery entries when loading the scenery database Some files or scenery directories could not be read properly due to encrypted airport data. Scenery Title: Steam Encrypt…

Was setting up an RNAV approach into SKBO to runway 32R RNAV-C using the STAR ATAN4S and I got the error "STAR rwy 32L not equal to approach rwy 32R. Normally I would be able to re-select the STAR and it would prompt me for the runway but not this time. If I delete the STAR and re-select it I don't get a prompt for the rwy. The STAR is marked as for both 32L and 32R runways. Nothing has changed in my configuration so I thought I'd report it. Forgot to say, latest AIRAC and latest version of LNM.

In older versions the current aircraft position LAT/LONG used to be displayed in the "Aircraft" tab bottom section. It's no longer there. Has it been moved? Where can I see this without hovering over the icon?

Just curious about the attached - what exactly is the dotted circle with distance and time in red which sometimes displays on a flight plan? https://photos.app.goo.gl/3RvyBgaEGywK1kkK6

Hi, probably stupid remark: why LNM still uses the nomenclature of "Victor" and "jet" routes? AFAIK, this is something limited to the FAA and already obsolete btw... the rest of the program seems more adherent to ICAO standard (see for example regulations of class D airspaces). So, shouldn't these routes be called simply "high" and "low" altitude?

Hi, I often get errors in after downloading the tracks; apparently some points are not present in the default FSX DB, which is logical (old and obsolete DB). Funny, this seems only to happen with the enter-exit points, not with the intermediate ones. My question is: is there somewhere a list of the waypoints (and their coordinates)? I would like to create an integrative scenery that adds these points for older simulator. Also how are waypoints defined in the NATS dowloads? ID and Region?

Great Program!! I will donate soon! In the meantime, is there a way to orient the map and/or the aircraft such that it actually points in the direction I am flying? I hope you understand what I mean. Sometimes on the ground I don't know for sure what direction to turn on a taxiway intersection. Also, when flying, I would like to see my direction, rather than the map just pointing or oriented North, I think. I have been studying the great documentation, so maybe I missed that setting. Thanks.

Airport names are shown in Korean in Little Navmap. (red circles in the image below) If I choose "Use Navigraph for all features", airport names are shown in English, which I prefer. If I choose "Use Navigraph for Navaids and Procedures" or "Do not use Navigraph database", then airport names are shown in Korean. This behavior is observed with v2.8.12 as well as v3.0.2.beta. My humble theory is that even though English was chosen as the user interface language in my MSFS 2020 when LNM was loading scenery library from it, LNM extracted Korean strings for airport names, because it is the default language of my Windows 10 installation. Is there a way …

Hi, i noticed two inconsistencies between a flight plan generated by the internal FSX planner and the one from LNM. The first one relates to how TERMINAL (not route) waypoints are saved, i.e. the waypoints appearing in blue and saved in airport records. That how FSX saves them: <ATCWaypoint id="D186U"> <ATCWaypointType>Intersection</ATCWaypointType> <WorldPosition>N55° 13' 54.01",E37° 59' 12.00",+000000.00</WorldPosition> <ICAO> <ICAORegion>UU</ICAORegion> <ICAOIdent>D186U</ICAOIdent> <ICAOAirport>UUDD</ICAO…

Per the title, have these FAA charts been discontinued in the latest version? The error message states "...service discontinued". If so, is it possible to roll-back to previous version? The FAA charts are a must-have.

Hi Alex, I'm finding that LNM doesn't seem to correctly export a flight plan to MSFS 2020 when both a STAR and an Approach are selected. I believe that I have the correct options selected, and it works correctly if only a STAR is selected. Attached are the LNM plans for STAR/Approach and STAR Only, and the corresponding output files. https://filetransfer.io/data-package/Wq92S9rc#link Also, and this seems strange, but the Export Options seem to be inverted; I'm currently running with them set as the attached screenshot - if I 'tick' them I lose the related details. https://postimg.cc/d7WrhnLK I'm currently running 3.0.1.beta Thanks, Martin

Ever since MSFS stopped recording my flights between Jan 2022 and last fall, Little NavMap has been my logbook. Since 10-Feb though, it's stopped logging altogether and I've no idea why. Running 3.02 beta 64 bit. Status bar shows connected, and LNM is tracking the flight path in real time, it's just not logging.

Hi all- I'm new to LNM and have a question. I'm running P3D 5.4 btw. I notice that when I load an airport, KELP in this case, the parking spot I select in P3D seems to be off kilter in relation to the aircraft on the LNM screen. After reloading the scenery in LNV, it appears to refresh all the parking spots and my aircraft is exactly where it should be. Anyone give a hint as to what the deal is here? Thanks, Mark

When I land at an airport and ATC tells me where to park I often have problems finding the spot, specially (obviously) at large airports. Quite often the parking spots aren't numbered very logically... Is there a way to search for a specific parking spot in LNM? Or do I just have to zoom in and scroll around the airport to find it? The problem is NOT getting to that spot with my plane but the initial search for where that spot is.

Dears, just pure curiosity (no new feature request here). I noticed that if i do an autoroute, LNM will fill also the column of airways, and they get properly exported in the simulator later. Is there any trick to do it also for manually created plans? Also a curiosity: from what i noticed, they type of flightplan created (high altitude, low altitude, vor-vor or direct) seems to follow this logic: 1. IFR > ~18000 --> that flag is set to "high altitude" 2. IFR < ~18000 --> that flag is set to "low altitude" 3. VFR --> that flag is set to "direct" Did I get it correctly?

Is there way to see assigned parking type in little nav map? I have difficulties to assign AI traffic to certain military airports. i just want to know, how is the parking spots typed so i can match my GAmod military traffic models with those. And those airports are 3rd party airports.
