B200 King Air FSX | P3D

Hi, I'm fairly new to the Carenado B200 King Air and I'm quickly getting use to it's systems in the cockpit. However there are a few navigation issues I'm having and would love some advice or help. Whenever I type in a VOR code, and are in limits of range my aircraft never seems to follow it, nor ADF. I'm not to sure what 'PRE, ACT or XFR' are on the course knob, but I'm convinced it's something to do with my problem. I'm doing everything else correct (I think) with the active bearing points, and I understand how the course control symbol works. I'm also pressing the 'NAV' button with my autopilot, but nothing seems to happen and my aircraft will just fly st…

Hi, I can tune the nav1 with my goflight radio panel but the adf won't play at all. Any ideas ? Is there a radio panel I can bring up. I'm trying to learn to fly it using old fashioned vor/adf only. Graham

I'm thinking i'm doing something wrong. I can't get the B200 to use fuel from the primary fuel tanks first. Always seems to use up the backup tanks then takes fuel from the primary. Anyone have an idea what i'm doing wrong? Thanks.

I have not purchased the Carenado B200 yet. Does the Carenado B200 installer work for P3D-V2? Does the Carenado B200have a separate configuration (setup) program for FSX and P3D-V2 ... so I could set up the FSX version for RealityXP Garmins and the P3D-V2 version without RealityXP Garmins? Does the Carenado B200 setup program automatically set up the RealityXP Garmins or must this be a manual editing job of the panel.cfg filrs?

When I land and do a shutdown procedures then save so I can return and finish what ever I was doing or create a flight plan for next trip only to discover my shut procedures are not saving. Example EFIS power set to off, save then load to find EFIS power set to on. Is this a P3D issue or a carenado issue?.

Uninstalled Acceleration Uninstalled B200 Nvidia inspector and any other graphics tweaks. Reinstalled. Anyone know what's causing this? A reset will fix it, as will re-selecting a variant. But still a little annoying

Hi, When I got the B200 I was very impressed with how it flew. What I loved most was the way the aircraft moves around even when you do nothing, unlike the default aircraft, it wasn't perfectly stable all the time. So therefore, you have to make corrections constantly. But when I fired up my plane today, this feeling was suddenly entirely gone, the aircraft was perfectly stable and I barely had to do anything to keep it straight while before I had to correct constantly. I am pulling my hairs out over this. Is there any setting I could enable for this? Please help me.

Compared to the C90, the B200 engine noise is almost nil, having flown a few hours in the real one I know it's somewhat nosier that the default B200 sound settings. How do you tweak up the volume settings in the sound cfg file without turning up the speaker volume on the computer?

My vc panel in this aircraft is very difficult to read ( in particular the boxes around the gps ( lines, digits etc ) It looks almost like the lines around gauges are not aa What i mean by this is that the lines are sort of moving, not crisp and look like blurries in a way I dont have this on aircraft so far and my video card is pretty good It is a gtx780 so i dont think that is the issue Any ideas on where or what setting i can use to clean this up I also ensured that i had the most current updates Thoughts Pete

Hi community! When I onced installed the B200 I had everything running. In the meantime I have made several changes to several spaces, so I do not want to install it again. But what I am not figuring out is how to get the alert tones back for Altitude, overspeed (?), Stall Warning (does it sound - when I click I hear nothing) and the "Traffic" alert calls. I have checked in the Sound Folder - but in the config file there seem not to be any entries for this call outs or system sounds. Any ideas? Thank you, Alfred

I purchased the Carenado B200 last November and flew it a little bit but didn't really get to involved flying it. I have since reinstalled FSX and am getting around to reinstalling the B200. After installing both SP1 & SP2 and using the executable for installing the RealityXP 530 I have had issues on 2 of my 3 flights so far. I don't have the details for the first flight but it was from KVNY-KRNO. Enroute I couldn't get the CRS to work correctly and when turning final on the ILS 34L approach and switching the 530 from GPS to LOC I couldn't get the LOC or GS to show up on the HSI. I encountered the following texture error after copying my B200 aircraft folder and gauges over to Prepar3D. My other Carenado aircraft transferred over Okay but not the B200. Any thoughts...remedies.

In my B200 King Air the repaints do not show, and all I get is that indifferent white allovr scheme without any markings. I checked all the ac.cfg entries 5 times and they are ok. Anothe problem is I have that door and stairway at rear port fuselage opening and closing all the time--every few seconds it opens and closes again and that cycle repeats. I have never met anything like this 12 years of simming in 10 sims. In despair, I looked at all the buttons and swtiches in the VC thinking to find one for door and could not find anything. Carenado do not give a diagram for the VC gauges and swtiches in their many pdf's--another drawback here. Any help would …

Hi Guys, I have a Rudder/Taxiing problem with the B200 I hope somebody here can help with. When the a/c is on the groung, stationary and with no controller input the rudder twitches from side to side (even with my pedals removed). When taxiing it feels like the a/c is on skates and slides when cornering even at low speeds. Taking off is not an option because as soon as the a/c picks up speed it is impossible to hold in a straight line, with no imput from the controller the a/c zig zags. This likely my inexperience with this propjet and maybe propjets in general, but though I seem to do well enough in other areas of control, I am having difficulty in controlling spool up to achieve reasonable taxi speeds. I am using a CH yoke (with built in levers) and only with holding my breath each time can I move the throttle slightly enough to manage the spool up and hold in a good taxi range. I am moving the condition levers to low position. Any ideas on where to go to alleviate this challenge? Thanks BobD

Hi Guys ! I bought the B200 when i was out , now it is updated to Sp2 but since i bought i i have this strange graphic on the panel. The VSI is cut on the upper part it flashes cut not cut above all while climbing and the route in the ND is simply ODD. ANy suggestion? Thanks
