When starting the approach phase and switching off the autopilot's NAV and ALT mode, my plane behaves very erratically and is very difficult to stabilize for hand flying the final approach. The plane makes and almost uncontrollable dive the moment I switch the AP off. Any ideas what I am doing wrong?

I created my own little version 2D popup gauge for this with two knobs to adjust. Just found the pressure gauge in VC difficult to see and adjust being the gauge (center panel) and the adjustment knob (pedastal) being so far apart. Work like a charm, well at least for me and my requirements..

Hello everyone, I just liked these topics in the Malibu and C90B forum and thought why not just continue with the B200?! B) Having a good time and fun with the B200. This flight was in the morning from Reykjavik BIRK to Hofn Hornafjord BIHN via a short stop in Akureyri BIAR using the Aerosoft Iceland Scenery and jfab45´s great repaint F-HEAL, many thanks to him! Takeoff in Reykjavik and below FL100 onto Akureyri Second lap from Akureyri to Hofn Really enjoying this bird! Also wonderfull highly recommended scenery especially in the wintertime! Wondering if there is a way to alter the aircraft cfg or panel cfg to allow both comm1 and comm2 to be active simultaneously? I have a number of other aircraft that allow this, but with the B200 and C90 i can't get both to work at the same time. I use a Live ATC program that runs on my comm2 channel, and therefore it must be active to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hi All, I'm new here, just bought the Carenado B200 this afternoon. I've had a bit of a play with it already and installed SP1. One thing that has me perplexed is when I select gear down (below the max extension speed of roughly 180 KIAS) - either with my Goflight LGT II or with the keyboard - the gear will not come down until below 165 KIAS. Recycling etc doesn't do a thing - the handle changes to the down position but nothing else occurs. The 165 KIAS is important as it is (163 KIAS) the limit speed for gear retraction (in the real aircraft) and I'm wondering if there isn't something in the code messing with this. Also include a custom weather theme for the flight (just to make it easier to set up for the flight Also included a slightly different weather theme where cloud cover extend all the way south instead of clearing up as you travel south. I was interested in swapping out the strobes on this plane for A2A Shockwave lights but it appears that the B200's lighting is hard coded into the model (the cfg file only contains 4 lights, most of which appear to be VC lighting). Can anyone confirm this info?

Ok, been following this release. What I read that worries me the most is if the pressurization controller will be fixed. Secondary may be cockpit sound level, which an astute user could modify. Lastly, typical documentation issues. Question is - with these issues do the folks that have it give it a thumbs up, or thumbs down? I know F1 has an upcoming release. I also know their rep (excellent IMHO). That is not my concern at this point, as it is not available, and personally I am not sure I want the all glass cockpit. May be answered soon if any details of a service release come out, but, looking for opinions of those that have it . . . Thnks.

I am busy doing a tutotrial flight for the B200 based on what Yoda did for the C90 and needed to confirm the numbers to tie up to POH but I am wayyyy offfff.. so at this stage there are no tutorial flight comming forth..!! According to the training manual (of a well known training facility for B200 pilots) and POH you should be able to easily get to a torque of 2200-2300 for temperature 15degree celcius. With prop and condition levers fully forward running throttle fully open (grinding the last bit of effort out of those engines) I reach 1880, and havent seen 1900 on the torque indicators. Can someone confirm this. Am I missing something? side note (I can …

Watching Carenado is getting to be a hobby in it's self. After years of one new air plane after the other with the same cockpit equipment and look and I now wonder if many of them even had different "FDE". Now comes the King Air C90 and the release of the B200. Now I know that many if not all the King Airs have a lot of systems that are common to all. What I find to be amazing is not only did this bunch at Carenado use many of the same gauges ect in both models they even duplicated all of the bugs and problems that were released with the C90!! Hi guys! I have a question...there's something strange with the B200...or I'm doing wrong...?, if I try to follow torque lb power according to the cruise performance tables, they're only correct and match the power if Anti-Ice is OFF, if Anti-Ice is ON, the power decreases obviously, but does not match the indicated torque lb never...otherwise, I have to leave the throttle at full power, trying to match the torque lbs...and that's not right and real...I think? Someone can explain me this, or clarify it?, I really need to know this!!!, thanks guys! Regards
