B200 King Air FSX | P3D

Hope to see a B200 introductory flight tutorial from Yoda967 as he have done for us for the C90. I am sure if we can get enougth support, Yoda might consider writing as a simmilar tutorial.

This is what I got; I used the configuration tool from Reality XP Oviously something is wrong (photo taken only of initiation screens), as the left should be for XP whereas they are both the carenado defaults' screens, even though the little XP icon is there in the upper right In other A/C like the C90, there is no XP gauge at all after running the configurator BTW when I ran the configurator, it says it cannot load Window[00] PS I am very new (today's newby) to Reality XP gauges

Can I get some clarification on the correct fueling procedures for the B200 from some real world pilots.... What tanks should be filled first? AUX or Main? I am getting mixed interpretations from numerous on-line articles.

Hello and Help All ------ In all my time with FSX I have never experienced this one before. Not until I installed the B200 that is --- coincidence I hope. What has happened is that I have lost my VOR/NAV/COM/ATIS identifier sounds. After experiencing this on the B200, I checked other planes and it is now gone there too. All other sounds are working just fine. ATIS is functional -- but dead silent. I checked every usual switch that has control over this audio --- audio panel, etc. Nothing. I did notice something strange on my last flight with the B200. I was about 700 miles out of my departure station, still tuned to its VOR and all of the sudden, it came on ag…

Can I get a clarification on this plane.....Specs..... What is its service ceiling? I was under the assumption that it was 35,000 feet Last night I was cruising at 31,000 (not very strongly) then went up to 32,000 and the master warning went off for cabin pressure (I assume)......... Tell me this is a sub-30,000ft airplane and i will freak out........... I was running out of steam I felt above 30,000...... prop rpm @ 1700 - very low rate of accent. Thanks

I am looking for a way, if there is one, to access the "calibration" between the joystick throttle and the cockpit throttle levers position. Would like to be able to set minimum joystick throttle position to cause the cockpit throttles to go into "reverse pitch" mode. Not sure if this is a gauge that can be tweaked or if it is hardcoded and this is just a pipe dream..... :( Anyone know if this is possible ?? Anyone do it on the C90 ?? Thanks in advance ---- Bob

Having the B90, and using it often, liking it, why would I pay again for another King Air? Since I am always in the VC, that is the area of concern I am soliciting comments regarding any advantage points. Is the B200 a lot faster than the B90?

I am use to seeing anti-glare areas on the inboard top half of the engine nacelles on both the port and starboard side. My question is why are the anti-glare areas on the bottom inboard engine nacelles? Or is that something else? When I was building a paint kit is when I discovered this. It shows up in other textures also. Russ

OK.. Unfortunately I was unable to complete my first 2 flights. First impression is this plane is very buggy.. Things I have noticed on the first flight. 1) Traffic alert extremely annoying. Borderline unflyable... 2) Electronic vert. speed indicator flickers on the top half. It was fine but out of nowhere it started.... 3) I cant shut of the MSG on the left Garmin 530... I hold it down but it does not shut off.. 4) No HDG bug adjust near on the panel... need a clickspot.. 5) Can someone who has been in a real 200 please tell us if the sound (or lack there of) is accurate from cabin.. Seems very low and muffled. But the cabin climate fan is extreme…

Loving the release.. Happy to see that the user has control of the feather again as opposed to the C90. One thing I would love to see is the option to not have the sounds muffled like you are wearing a pair of sound protection. Perhaps an option that can be selected alongside VC windows and gauge reflections? Also noticed no sound change outside of the aircraft when the props are fully feathered as compared to full prop. Anyways.. my 2 cents.. Thanks Guys! -Damien

For those of you who are tired of hearing the Traffic Alert all the time, it is located in the FSX sound folder in the folder Carb200 and is called TrafficAlert. I just renamed mine for now. Cheers Martin

Hi there, my first Carenado Aircraft and just have a question: The product page lists "Carenado GNS530 User Guide PDF" as included pdf. But there isn't any. Also there are 2 installer files within the aircraft directory under SimObjects: one CAR530.exe and one RXP530.exe. What are these for? Where are the manuals for them? Thanks in advance. I just bought the King Air 200!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHOOOOO..... I have a question if anyone knows this.... I was looking through the checklist and I noticed there is no takeoff speeds or landing speeds like the King Air C90 had in the checklist. What are the speeds for this bird. Thanks
