B200 King Air FSX | P3D

The US flag on the starboard side of the vertical stabilizer is pointed incorrectly. The blue start field ALWAYS points toward the front of the any US aircraft..

I know this is an aged topic compared to the fast mover threads now in progress, but the pressurization of the B200 is still a headache and I was wondering if anyone has come up with a fix (because Carenado sure as well won't be)? I've tried dumps, I've tried setting the wheel and then adjusting the rate to 0 so it stays fixed, but the needle still rises and I still hit the maximum (generating a master caution). I'm not sure what to do at this point short of staying below 18000 feet to keep the pressurization happy. How are you guys able to fly at reasonable altitudes without wanting to pull your hair out because the pressurization system is doinked?

The interior lights need some adjustment as you did in the 182 would be great. You HAVE to do something about the REALLY annoying conflict alert, it could drive me to drink! OK maybe a putt. Another strong perfomance in modeling, performance and just eye candy, you guys keep improving. Cannot wait to the 850 makes an appearance, but a check with Flight Aware shows some 65 B200 flights onthe map, so I have some flying to do till then. Thanks

Hello everybody, on my now mid-range PC the Avidyne Unit is the most power hungry and FPS killing gauge in the B200 and also was in the C90B before. If I completely powered it off in the vc and 2D gauge then I have a very fluid and pleasing experience, back at "full FPS" in my case, so I decided to cut it out and replace it with the RXP Wx500 device, which gives still a realistic look and feel to the panel .... and besides of the Avidyne own Wx-radar , it shows allways the weather in my case. Carenado, I really like your Avidyne Unit, but for me it is a fun killer to see frames be cut by 10 FPS when using it! This is just an idea how to get some of the perfor…

I just purchased the B200 King Air for FSX. Are the service packs rolled into the latest download, or do I have to install the service packs? If one does need to install the service packs, does service pack 2 include SP1 or do I need to install both? Thanks!

P3D v2.4; B200 SP1 SP2 CG way too far forward. In Fuel & Payload window: Empty weight, CG sign located at propeller. Fuel full, CG sign located at windshield. Any suggestion? Thanks.

I installed this plane last week and the only available texture in FSX "Select Aircraft" is the plain silver. It seems a though the other textures installed in FSX but how do I select them?

Hello everybody, I am curious if anyone knows of an Alaska State Troopers repaint anywhere for the B200? I've seen skins for other aircraft (C185, AS350, etc.) but I haven't found one for the B200 yet. If there aren't any out there, I'll see if I can make my own. Good evening, I'm interested in knowing what people that have an experience with the B200 from Aeroworx think of the Carenado one. I'm almost willing to buy the Aeroworx and do some tricks to make it work in FSX. But does it worth it in your opinion ? I love the fact that the Aeroworx have all these aircraft managers that come with (but can does be used through FSX ?) Thanks. Souheil

Hi I bought Carenados BE 200 a while ago, but it is by far not a complex plane. I wish to have a plane which gives me a lot to do. I flew hundreds of hours on Project Tupolevs 154; but I dont think any of these are a match for it. So, which BE200 do you suggest that I should buy? Cheers Libra

We know that the G600 is modeled in the Seneca. There are B200's flying in the real skies with a G600 retrofitted. That wouldn't be to hard of an upgrade for Carenado. Just let the G600 mature a bit more on the Seneca and port it over. The steam gauges won't need to be replaced or moved, if you look at pictures of such a B200. Quite simple upgrade i would guess. Now we still have to wait for that Hawker. But this is because of the navigraph integration in the proline21. So once the hawker is finished there is a Proline21 available. Suddenly I heard of bunch of ATC chatter that was NOT FSX ATC. Is this something I didn't know about it? I have no ideas how I started and it just ended.....!!??

When I load up this plane my fps drops significantly after a few minutes - to only 4 fps. I don't know why. I'm using an ATI card. With my old machine with an Nvidia it didn't happen. I've tried changing my GPU settings and nothing is working. Could it be the gauges or something.

Is there somewhere some reference of how real pilots fly the B200 ? I am not looking for the usual limitations in pilot manuals etc. but actual procedures in ballpark numbers. For example, what are the RPM / Fuel settings on parked and taxi phases. On take off I assume you go to full power, confirm ? On a regular cruise what are the "usual" settings ? On a regular cruise if the flight is not too short what is the usual altitude flown on an average weight ? To start, I have installed SP2 and all of the other tweaks added in this forum. I believe the details of SP2 inidcated that the DC Volt/Loadmeters issues were fixed. I do not get any voltage reading when I turn on the battery switch to check voltage during the preflight checklist. Am I missing something? If someone has it working I would be interested in a fix or the steps followed. Thanks in advance.

Hey Gang I have been around and have flown the King Air Line, as a Line Captain for Charter Companies and for Private Companies. BE350 to the C, E, and B 90s and they are absolutely top of the line when it comes to corporate turbo props. Hi, I'm trying to understand why the # 2 GNS 530's VOR will sometimes capture an intercepted radial and sometimes not. I do understand u cannot use the # 2 VOR for ILS....only the # 1 VOR. Is there a Rule Of Thumb about the # 2 VOR that would explain my initial question ? Thanks, Seehunt
