Hey Gerald. Not sure if anyone else has this problem, but prior to all the newer updates, the Copilot knew all of the parking locations. Now when asking our location, he only states the airport and a runway. I know the focus and emphasis is on MSFS 2020, and FSX uses an old NAV database, however some of the changes seem to cause unintended issues within FSX. Tony J

I have created a custom checklist for the Douglas DC-3 from a real world checklist. The first officer reads it perfectly (except for a few words he doesn't know and he reads them letter by letter no problem). He does the first three checklists and stops at the end except for the AFTER START CHECKLIST he continues checks reading from the TAXI CHECKLIST. I am showing the complete checklist here for help why. I have compared it with the checklists that are supplied and tried to make it follow the same format with spacing, line lengths and everything. HELP PLEASE!

Hello, I recently updated to the latest MSFS version (glad to see V speeds can be read from the PMDG again.) I've encountered an issue though: my hard mute joystick button has stopped working (the button equivalent to pressing num lock.) It worked correctly when I first loaded the new version, but stopped working after an MCE lockup halfway through the flight. I restarted MCE successfully, but since then (even after a sim restart) the mute button on my joystick doesn't work. Num lock still works normally. When can we expect to get an update ( fix the Simbrief not working in X-Plane). It's been a while since we've had an update.

I just recently got the previous patch working now 3.0.0.6 broke it again. It's exhausting trying to get this program to work. When it does work it's great but then along comes something like a patch and sends everything to broken and so the pattern seems to repeat itself. For example, I just got this message AGAIN with this recent patch. I tried to re-install the new patch but MC website download for PD3V5/MSFS wasn't working. I am spending more time trying to get this program to work than actually flying.

Gerald, I'm running FSX, my aircraft is the beech baron. Since 3.0.0.6 this issue is occurring. The copilot no longer responds to my flap requests. When requesting flaps 15 or flaps 30 the copilot says "this must be some kind of joke this aircraft has no flaps settings of 15 or 30" even though it clearly does in the aircraft.cfg file. This was working in all other versions. My flying partner uses the same aircraft and has the same problem. The copilot does move the flaps if I use a vox key command, and even says flaps 15 and flaps 30 when moving the flaps. Thanks for the support, Tony J

Second quirk I've encountered with the new version: I've acquired a second virtual crewmember, who occasionally chimes in during procedures or checklists. He uses a different voice than the TTS voice I have assigned to my first officer, and his favorite word seems to be "checks." I'm guessing this is something I've had turned off in settings for so long that I've forgotten what it is, and the new update turned it back on. Any idea who this is and how I can get rid of him? 😁 Thanks, sorry to clutter the forum with two posts, I figured it was better to keep issues separate.

I have tried researching and found maybe RC window is a losing focus problem? Seams like it might have come up before. I turn over radios to Will and he has no problem communicating with RC. But if I try to regain control or even just type in a number for RC nothing happens in the RC menu or even if I speak the command. I removed any numbers (1-9) from any other keyboard commands. I understand maybe it is another app holding a top position over RC but closed everything and still could not communicate. It only happen deep into the flight. Gerald, i have set the option in the ini file for using a hardware cockpit to 1 (active). But i wonder what this exactly doing or not. Well, it would have been cool if an holographic FO would materialise on the right seat, and serve the switches, but that wasn´t the case, so what is this option doing or hibernate of actions by MCE.

Gerald, It appears that 3.0.0.0 is attempting to add MSFS data during installation even when you select no during installation. On installation of 3.0.0.0 the installation ask if you are using MSFS 2020, since I'm using FSX I selected no. After installation was complete, I started FSX and MCE. 1st issue, None of my voice scripts are being seen, on my default aircraft. I started to import them but I have over 40 scripts and the import function only allows one selection at a time (too time consuming). Ok now something else. I downloaded the latest build only to have a new never seen before message ("In order to allow co-pilot to control switches accurately please restart the flight not the simulated then restart MCPE") and it crashes MSFS whenever MC is loaded. administrative rights required

Hi everyone, I'm trying to build flows following Ryanair SOP with PMDG at least to detail I'm able to find information. I came across one problem that I can't find solution and also I searched forum and I didn't see what I'm looking for. I would like to build command for "bug up". I know I can just say "set speed to 220" but also I wanted to combine it with flaps on schedule. Wen I want to fly SID by hand in gusty condition losing focus on what plane is doing even for couple seconds is problematic. hello i was on MCE ver .82 and everything was working good with the pmdg737 latest ver (su11 beta), i then uninstalled MCE and installed the latest ver .83 to get the fenix support too, but the 737 is totally screwed , like the fo cant read LVARS anymore , although the script is correct , the fo excuted sometimes opposite commands (example during cockpit preparation..irs to att, eng hyd pumps off, window heat to off....etc) , even simple commands like 'set hdg xxx' is not done correctly, same behaviour with the fenix 320 i tried reinstalled the LVARS from mce to community folder and restoring factory setting nothing worked

Did my first flight with the demo today. Very pleased with the voices. However I am having some big problems understanding where in the flows I am, when to call for a flow vs a checklist, and generally what MCE expects me to do vs what the copilot will take care of. Aircraft is the Fenix A320 in MSFS. Loaded the sim + aircraft, started MCE without issue. Passengers are boarding, aircraft is fueled. For the menu, I see the three buttons to the left, F/C/R for flows/checklists/requests. Hi, I'm using MCE version 3 and trying to figure out the order of the prebuilt Voxscripts to get the PMDG 737 engines started and ready for taxi. I can run the prebuilt 737 scripts using voice control. The electrical will power- up, the FO will do the overhead procedure, APU procedure, and the prepare aircraft flow. FO will try to start engine 2 and then 1 on command but engines fail to start, Are the prebuilt vox scripts sufficient to start the engines and I'm using them in the wrong order or do i need additional scripts? I just got the PMDG version of MCE, and whenever I call for a checklist, the FO reads the first item, then immedately says "Checklist cancelled, captain." If I select the C in the toolbar, it'll go through everything normally with the AI voice. Not sure if there's some setting I have ticked that cancels checklists, but I can't get through one. Thanks

i downloaded the demo, did the set up. Started MSFS, got in the PMDG 737 at the gate. Started MCE. Copilot came on but was useless. He would not do anything other than read out checklists? He did not do any of the preflight procedure flow and when I asked him to start an engine he mucked that up as well. Do not see how this "supports PMDG 737". Am I missing something?

Hello, I'm finally back to flight simulation and started using MCE again now that I have a good headset for voice recognition. I'm using it with PF3 on P3Dv5 and have a few questions and remarks: First of all, I can't see the text commands in red on the top left corner. Instead, the countermeasures are being toggled just like if I was pushing CTRL+Z. I tried the recover feature but it didn't help. Is there a way to get the FS commands instead? Also, as explained in my other post, it seems there are some dlls missing from the MCE folders, but I guess you'll correct this in a patch.
