Hey, I just wondered if there is a chance to "reduce" the features of MCE individually... I like the plugin, but for me I really only use the checklists pretty much. Even after much calibrating I too often seem to get different commands done by the FO than requested. Maybe it's just me talking lazy, but anyway I'd like to get rid of it. So if there is a tweak to only enable checklists and specifically generated flows, and nothing else, I would be happy. But I guess this kind of downgrading isn't something that will be provided...? edit: alternatively starting a flow by an action (like disarm speedbrakes = after landing flow) would help…

Good evening, I am back to FBW A32NX. Trying to complile flows so that my first officer will follow the FBW provided SOP. My question is about the interior lighting setup. The SOP calls for him to set lighting but I wonder to what extend he can help here. hey there, I'm loving MCE although I do find that SAPI 5 TTS is getting on a bit in age and it's quite hard to get alternative voices for it. I was wondering if there was any chance in the future MCE my be able to leverage other speech platforms, so that we can use MCE for the Flight Sim integration, and choose our own speech engine to translate the text into MCE. e.g. Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Amazon Polly Speech engines. So we just enter in our key for whichever we choose and then can select from 100s of fantastic natural sounding voices, with almost zero training required.

Hey Gerald, With the latest version, when going into voxscript to edit some flows, I receive explanations of everything I select. Is this something new? And is there a way to turn this off in the ini file? Also when using the unspecified pause feature in a flow, checking the box that says “wait until I ask to resume” does not seem to work. What happens is when I say “resume or continue flow” to restart the flow, the FO does nothing. Eventually he will ask if I want to continue, but only when he’s ready, not when I request it. It’s as if he he is hard coded to a specific time limit before he will continue. Again minor annoyances. Running FSX/PF3. Thanks, …

Hello, I've recently switched to Majestic's Training Edition (V 1.025) of the Dash 8. On my first flight, MCE seemingly wasn't able to switch frequencies. It would open the FMS panel, but it wouldn't "take over" the mouse pointer to "push" the keys. After a second or two, it closes the FMS, and unsuccessfully "tries" another two times. I'm on an older version of MCE, V3.0.1.3 according to my change log, and I also updated to P3D V5.4 recently - should I try upgrading MCE to the latest version? Gerald, Lately I have been having an issue where MCE is intermittently not starting. I have it selected to start automatically when FSX starts. The indications are FSX starts normally, however MCE does not start at all. This includes the first flight of the day when it normally does the sound setup. I tried just starting it with the desktop shortcut or with the exe file but with no success. The only way to get it started is to power off the computer (hard boot), then restart the computer. This has been happening at least once every other day. Again I'm running FSX. My flying partner has been experiencing the same problem. Only difference is he does not have M…

Somehow, I did thinks wrong. (After a complete upgrade, only the cast and power unit left I fill it with new stuff), I have trouble-activating MCE. Due to sending (at least I think), the wrong activation mail the communication stalls! Too bad for me that I (not knowing what possibly went wrong), sent a wrong Machin Id number and I have lost contact with the MCE crew. Hi, I tried MCE with my brand new PMDG 736 yesterday. MCE loads and regognises the PMDG 736, although there were several problems, e.g. with setting MCP values via Co pilot (altitude, heading etc). I have purchased MCE long time ago for p3d and Xplane 11 and updated the versions as offered in downloads. However, could it be necessary to purchase seperate editions for the MSFS PMDG or Asobo ATR, to name just two addons? Cheers, Karl

hello i downloaded latest mce ver uninstalled prev ver and installed the latest like usual, now i am stuck at 'trying to connect to msfs' i tried checking 'run as admin' but didnt solve it , also tried to redownload the latest ver from the website i couldnt 'pressing on link does nothing'

As per title of this thread, starting from version V3.0.5.6 the new Lockheed Martin Prepar3D V6 simulator is now supported to same level as V5 & V4. Whatever complex planes you may have managed to port to V6 should be interfaced the same way as under V5 or V4 MCE users are encouraged to update to latest even if you don't have Prepar3D V6, as there are a few fixes for other supported sims like MSFS or V5 As always, a Demo (also the download link for registered users) is available here. http://www.multicrewxp.com/Downloads.html

Anyone else experiencing the MCE UI Window minimizing on its own after a minute or two? Im in the process of setting up VoxScripts and it keeps minimizing before I can make too much progress. Also having a few issues with getting checklist to run correctly. I'm needing help with getting my U.S. carrier's checklist formatted text file to work with the sim. The checklist for example will ask for one thing and start moving down the list without a response from me to the next items on its own. Hello After a very long break, I'm back in action again, mainly hoping that FBW is not changing their sim vars daily. I've got some questions, I'd appreciate if anyone here could answer them. 1. Which folder is the right folder for scripts and flows, is it the one in my documents, or the one inside the support folder in the main MCE directory? 2. How's the state of FBW with mCE now? Do all the important switches work, such as pulling and pushing the hdg/spd/alt/vs buttons, the approach buttons, MCDU and etc? 3. Not a big issue, but I'm trying to figure out why this happens now... I upgraded to MCE version 3.0.52 . Now, every time I start MCE, MCE automatically goes through the sound settings to set it up. I know this happens when you first install the program, but once set up, I don't believe it goes through this every single I start the program... Is this normal?

I installed MCE version 3.0.50 to work with PF3 version 3.20.0 (latest) and MSFS 1.33.8.0. Prior to this version of MCE, all was working correctly. However, with MCE version 3.0.50, when I request an altitude increase, PF3 does not respond. If I press the H button + 2 button, PF3 does respond by authorizing and increase in altitude (additional 2000 feet). I went back to my prior version of MCE, v 3.0.32 and it works correctly with PF3 and altitude increases. So, it appears MCE version 3.0.50 has an issue with altitude increases working correctly with PF3 version 3.20.0. Thanks!

Hi, As soon as I start MCE I get a "crew is leaving" message on screen and then the app quits. Reinstalling and resetting settings didn't help.

What's the status on WT 787 support? I assume it was supported before. Will it be updated to support new functionality on full release? Off-topic PS: The 70 knots callout in the Fenix A320 sound two to five times below 70 knots on rollout for me.

Hi, I'm thinking about switching from PF3 to VOXATC (waiting for the integration of AIGFPs). MCE and PF3 work very well together, practically perfectly. From what I've read, the integration with VOXATC isn't as comprehensive, and the way to do it is to have the VOXATC-FO handle the radio, and have the MCE-FO (with the same TTS voice) for the other FO tasks. Does that mean the FOs will sometimes talk over each other (with the same TTS voice), or is MCE aware that VOXATC's FO is talking? And: Are there other things (drawbacks) to consider? Thanks
