Does the MCE work with the PMDG cargo variant? Mine is not working. Do I need to enable data broadcast? If so where can the options.ini be found I cant find it anywhere. Thanks in advance

It appears the PMDG 737 in MSFS 2020 after the latest update is causing MCE (and Many other 3rd party dev stuff) to go crazy and just not work correctly. They have changed some behind the scenes stuff (AND didn't bother to tell anyone in the release notes) So IF you update be aware MCE may not function correctly. I spent 5 hours thinking something I might of done was causing the issue.... @70 years old you never can tell if it's you or something else 😉 Just a heads up!

I studied the MCE website and I understand that an aircraft model must be pre-coded into MCE in order to have voice interactive crew functionality. BUT, as a predominantly GA simmer who uses the simulation leveled with real flight training the feature that interests me most is the ability to use voice with native ATC. My question about the Ultimate version is, does the voice ATC interaction work with any plane or must they be configured for it in MCE along with the crew functions? I fly A2A GA in Prepar3d 64 bit. Hi, every once in a while I have the problem that the FO won't recognize ATC is calling us. I can then ask him to “acknowledge ATC“, and he then does so, but he reads back an old message, mostly “contact departure“. I believe most of the time it has to do with the callsign itself having letters in it, or maybe it happens if MCE doesn't know or can't read the airline, or both...? My callsign today was “Vueling 7JF“ (from a real-world flight), but when asked what our callsign was, the FO only answered “7JF“. I've seen this before, with the callsigns “Turkish 6QV“, “Eurowings 1WP“ and “ "New Zealand 99P", and more...

Hi everyone, I have the following problem: The radio static noise doesn't play continuously while I'm pressing the PTT button. The "beep" sound only plays for half a second when using the DEL key, even shorter if pressing the assigned joystick button. I've tried redirecting the output to a different device (as I did change my PC's sound config with the arrival of my new screen), and reinstalling MCE. What am I missing here? Regards, Dimitrios

Hi, Just a quick report regarding the A340-600 - Since they updated it to v1.1, I'm unable to have the F/O set flaps when on the ground. He says something like "how can I be expected to do that? No hyrdaulic power!" whenever I ask him (engines are running and hyd is available) Suspect it's something to do with their new engine/hydraulic coding.. Cheers, James

Hi, just updated to 2.9.7.0 and when I ask the co-pilot to handle the comms, he says he will and then doesn't, just ignores the radio completely. I tried rebooting MCE twice and still the same, does everything else I ask of him, and says he will look after the radio, but then doesn't. It was working fine before I updated, however, it had been a while since I had updated. The version that I was using previous to the update was 2.9.0.0. It is installed in the default place, and I'm running Windows 10 64bit. any help would be appreciated. Many thanks

I'm stupid I am sure (my wife will vote that way) but for the life of me I am unable to find the words to get my F/O to set (on the MCP) Course 2 to the value I want. I have no problem with "Set course 1 to XXX"; however same phrase is not working for me on VOR course #2. Thanks and I love this program!

I was wondering if it is possible that there could be a Discord where users could help each other with the doubts that arise, in that sense it could free the work of answering the same questions and on the other hand have a meeting point where we can enrich our knowledge and share it, to save time between all of us. Through this Discord we could free time to give support, share screenshots between us about the different configurations and possible mistakes we make, share scripts flows and many other things that could enrich the experience between MCE users. I use P3Dv4.5 / PMDG 737 / native ATC ATC response to my clearance request ist ok. But then ATC doesn't hear my confirmation any more (ATC:"did you hear me?"). (Response and actions from FO are ok.)

Hi there When my aircraft is cold and dark and i open multi crew experience, the ground crew coordinator introduces himself, one of the airbus doors opens, (I think it's door number 3), and MCE requests msfs for boarding ramp. How can i continue interacting with the ground crew? wanting to know when exactly the boarding ends or if i should tell them to stop boarding. The documents i've read so far: Using MCE with MSFS 2020.pdf and ground_cmd.rtf but couldn't find the answer.

I recently found this work around at the MSFS 2020 forums. After making this small modification, you can use Multi Crew Experience to speak with native ATC and no longer hear the CO-Pilot repeat what you've just said. Basically, the steps to add this modification are: 1. Go to your FS-BASE folder. 2. Locate the Speakers.locspk file. 3. Make a backup copy of this file in case you need/want to remove this modification 4. Open the Speakers.locspk file with Notepad or Notepad++. Find the lines: "Name": "COPILOT", "Gender": "NotSet", "Age": "NotSet", "OutputBus": "VO_COPILOT", Remove them from the fi…

Hi, I just span up the PMDG DC-6 after a long while - with the latest release of MCE. All the things that were set up to work are fine (flaps, gear etc...) but for some reason I can't assign a checklist... I created one manually and it used to work fine previously, but now I can't even look at the checlist tab to select a checklist, instead each time I try it tells me that this option is disabled and I should re-enable from the general tab. When trying this, the checklist radio button will not allow me to check it... any ideas?

I'm working on new flows for the PMDG 737, worked OK first. Buit now I keep getting "Could not detect aircraft...possibly flight sim reload" during executing a VoxScript flow. When that happens I hear the FO, but nothing happens with the switches anymore. After reloading and starting a script again, the error keeps happening. I re-installed MCE, at first the problem was gone, now after 1 flight, it's back again. Any idea what this could be? 2nd question: is it possible to stop the FO speaking out things like frequency changes? Would be nice to have an option to cancel stuff like that.
