hello BTN folders in side aircraft folders for msfs2020 what are they for

Hello there, After a while without flying on my sim, I've reinstalled the latest version of MCE yesterday. I wanted to use it with the captainsim 757 III on P3Dv5, but it seems it's not recognising it as the captainsim at all. MCP values do not change as expected while the copilot acknowledges my orders. Any idea of what's happening?

Hello, Whenever I use this plugin, I cannot rely on the in simulator key commands window. It shows the wrong key presses. It will say like CS I for initial contact, but compared to the pf3 displayer the correct key would be just plain old number 0. Seems like something is not sending or receiving the correct list of keys from pf3. The plugin should mirror the pf3 displayer. Thanks

I had an older version. Something like 2.9.6.2 or something. Back in August, I grabbed some update files from here. They caused the app to no recognize commands for the default planes. I reset. Didn't help. I uninstalled MCE, also didn't help. I installed the latest version from the website. The first officer began rambling on. Every command was performed wrong and he kept asking for confirmations and complaining that we are on the ground one moment then in the air the next. 3 times, I have downloaded and installed the version from my Simmarket account. Still the 1st officer misunderstands the commands, and keeps talking. I have disabled "extra chatter" in the i…

It's looking like I finally have everything set up. But still for some strange reason when I give the voice command like are you onboard clide, or who is my co-pilot, MCE can't hear me. I think if I can solve this rinkle, I'll finally be able to fly within p3d. Any and or all advice will be deeply appreciated. Ron [email protected]

Hi Tried to install MCE today and everything works fine until launching it. After asking if I am using the latest MSFS2020 I get a xpwiz.exe System Error box saying "The code execution cannot proceed because obsidium.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". Of course it does not. Any idea? I have not had this issue previously even with the latest Sim Update 10.

I swear there's a way to do this but I just can't find it now... Several of our checklist items involve the response including a readout of relevant data (takeoff data, MCP data etc.) I've just been using a generic response of "set" with MCE, but would like to start using the actual verbiage if possible. As an example, the response to the "takeoff data" item on our before takeoff check would sound like: "reduced 24k, N1s 94.6, CG 23.7, trim 5.2, runway 16 left." Obviously MCP can't police this kind of response as correct or incorrect, but is there a way to make him just accept it, without misinterpreting the numbers as instructions to change something? …

After latest PMDG 3.0.39 "UPDATE" (LOL) I have no NWS? Thats just on Taxi? Cant even take off! Anyone else? Seemingly after every "update", something goes TITS up? I am fed up of it! Cheers! Anyone have a good complex sim that works like FSX? 😉

I have the MSFS edition. MSFS and Windows 10 are English language versions and set to English. However, under MCE's ATC settings I cannot activate Native ATC. The message above the checkbox indicates that the MSFS UI must be set to English.

Hi guys, since a while I am not able to use MCE on MSFS2020 (latest stable) together with the Tobii Eytracker 5 and ends up in CTD of Tobii Eye tracker & MCE. Both are at latest versions and FSUIPC as registered as well. What does happen in detail: When launching MSFS2020 and Tobii Eye tracker 5 everything works as expected. Starting a flight at any airport is no big deal because everything works as it should be. After launching of MCE its start-up process is quite normal. But after about 2 minutes Tobii Eye Tracker stops working, led lights are still on but no head movements are possible and it can't really be restarted to solve the issue... …

I'm in the process to make the Hotstart CL650 in Xplane somehow MCE usable. With Voxkey and Voxscript is much possible. I know the Challenger has is own FO build in but with voice commands it would be even better. By the way, I had never in the last 25 Years so much fun with a Plane like with this one. A real masterpiece! So my problem is now, the Checklist reading. Some words like "clock" "supplement" are not readable on my PC for MCE. Is there some easy way to make them working in MultiCrew?

Hi, When I start a Fenix flight and then start MCE I receive the following message: "In order to allow co-pilot to control all switches accurately please restart the flight (not the simulator), then restart MCE" I restart the flight, then MCE and the same thing happens. I'm opening a new topic for the Q400 so that it doesn't get mixed up with the FSL A320. While you are working on an update that makes use of the 2D panels to allow MCE to operate more switches on the Q400 here is something to take into consideration: MCE already makes use of the 2D FMS Popup panel to tune frequencies. I struggled with that because MCE kept on opening the Engine Display Popup instead. I finally found, the reason was that I installed the Weather Gauge by Active Sky. So the numbering of the panels in the panel.cfg was changed and the FMS Popup became Window18 whereas MCE still opened Window17. I had to manually rearrange the panel.cfg…

In the latest version I hear MCE saying "speech off" resp. "listening" when pressing the NumLock mute key. I never heard that before and I'd like to turn off these verbal messages again. Is there a line I could add to the mce.ini to achieve that?

Hi Gerald, I have not used MCE for some time with XP11 and tonight I hit a problem..... In spite of me already having used MCE it asked me to close XP and do the first setup. OK I did that, then started XP11 (windowed) and after the plane was loaded and sat on the apron I started MCE again only to see it open and telling me that it was trying to connect to the simulator. After some time the error came up that I should check for the presence of the two xplinsider files. They were not there and I copied them from the original archive to the XP root directory. Hello, I have been successfully using Fsx along with Radar contact and multi crew experience for several year. I use to hear a humming sound when transmitting to atc ( delete key function) which let me know that I was in fact transmitting. now, for some reason it is gone, or barley noticeable? I did right click and made sure the transmission static volume was set to “max” in the multi crew experience app, but with no change. I have tested it and atc can hear me and acknowledges my requests, so I am just missing the “transmission hum”. I hate to ask...But has anyone dared to try PMDG update 3.0.25? After 3.0.24...Messed with us I am loathe to try the next one? release notes seem to witter on about XBox controls compatability and Speed Intervene anunciation being reversed to what they think it should be? In spite of the fact that when you do a speed intervene the anunciation should be MCP speed and not FMC speed since you have overridden FMC speed with MCP? Is it me or are they fiddleing about with things that dont need fixing? Every time they fiddle about, something breaks on our MCE. This requires more testing, reporting and work for our programmer.
