Why does my FO say need to start engine before pushback? Before I leave the gate with GSX

Hello MCE community and support team. I am a new user to MCE. I was recommended to check out the forums, and I have been searching and reviewed many of the “beginner” posts, but I still had a few questions for flows I am trying to build in MCE. 1. I was working on building and testing custom flows. I wanted to complete a command in the flow where the FO toggles the Flight Recorder switch to test and then back to the normal and guarded position. I know there is a “test CVR” command, but that command is for the cockpit voice recorder on the forward overhead (push green test switch). Hi @FS++ I hope you are well? I am wondering whether a simple improvement could be introduced to MCE? Namely the Above and Below the line checklist idea. Many airlines use checklists where the checklist is performed to the line. As an example at my current airline before takeoff checklist is divided into two parts: above and below the line. If the PF was to ask for it they would call Before takeoff checklist. And would be performed to the line. The pilot monitoring would finish the checklist by saying ie.: we are down to the line / before takeoff checklist completed to the line. The below the line would be then performed upon clearance to line up received. The …

If you guys could look into why FO cannot set altimeter correctly that would be great Fenix I haven't used other ac in a while, wonder if others are having the same problem.. as an example i tell him set altimeter to 30.00 he goes all over the place then leaves it a wrong (29.85 last time) setting and tells me to cross check LMAO

I'm trying to add a combo key to VOXKEY. If successful, I believe it would show in VOXKEY as <D><1>. However, when I press those combo keys (D1), it first shows <D> then <1> but not both. Is there a way to add this combination to VOXKEY?

My MCE seems to have forgotten my Simbrief ID, and I'm damned if I can remember how to enter it. Help!

Pleased to report that those planes now have a dedicated very affordable crew simulation package, intended for those who may find the Ultimate Edition asking price too steep, not realizing the latter covers 10+ complex planes in MSFS (with more on the way), 40+ planes across Prepar3D & FSX, or only care about ERJ 195 or 175 in MSFS. I upgraded to the latest version a few days ago and since then I've suffered an intermittent issue with the FO voice fading. It will restore itself after a while and them repeat the problem. The software is going through it's startup routine of ensuring the comms is set to 'no change'. I also have the mic check implemented durimg startup. Been using MCE since 2013 and never had the issue before. Oh, this is with FSX. Any clues? Andy

Hi guys, just received the demo and a link for the appropriated patch file. Inserted my licensekey-file by drag & drop. MCE config runs fine so far and the entire process is processed to the end properly. Start MSFS2020, pick aircraft and wait until //42 Flow tells me everything has been stabilised. Initialize Fenix and wait. Starting MCE with aircraft at gate... but nothing happens. The app shuts down immediatly. Tried without patch- same problem. Can you please help? LH067U

Did this update make any changes that would require an MCE patch? I'm reluctant to install.

Hello, I am trying out the beta and have found a couple things so far. I can't seem to get the IFE/Pass Seat bus to turn on. The available command doc says that "IFE on" should do it, but I can't get it to work no matter how whether I say IFE or India Foxtrot Echo. Also, when I try to set the autobrake it turns to multiple positions and ends up settling on disarm no matter what I say. So far, the other direct commands are working. I'll advise if I find anything else.

having problems lately, MCE starts i tell him some command (turn on landing lights, or whatever else simple command) he says he is doing it but he really is not doing anything, seems to be able to change flaps only and not very well since flaps 2 is full for him, version .98 also have issues with MCE sometimes does not start at all need to reboot computer or it is doing this silent start and i need to restart computer for it to work, my earlier post had same issue but seems i don't need to reinstall just restart,, it is a MAJOR pain as it requires to be started last, using with fenix a320 atm. flaps and gear and parking brake about all he can move, other he sa…

Seems MCE is not seeing my version 5 install. After several tries it doesn't connect to the sim. V5 is running and I get the failed to connect message. I do have the fsinsider64.dll in my sim folder. I do have a licensed install. Any help appreciated.

I purchased multicrew xp and I am sadly having to report that it was very unprofessional, the graphics were horrifying it just looked like a childish computer game. i don’t know if others that have purchased multicrew suffered the same experience, sadly I think multicrew xp software is very disappointing and not worth the money. i will not be making another purchase.

Hi, For some reason the script to set takeoff flaps does not work in the Fenix A320. I tried multiple iterations of "set takeoff flaps", "select takeoff flaps", "select planned takeoff flaps". Neither of them worked... When I spoken out either of them he would then confirm with me if I wanted the selected one (that I set in the program) and then he did it. I think by the way confirming what I ask is pretty useless hence it is an order and should not be doubted. I know the check is there to catch it if I were to make a mistake but this would never be done in real life. For that, there is a checklist. Do you think this could be fixed? Also just another ques…

Dear developer, For some reason the MCE window if displayed when MSFS is in full screen mode displays as a black window. And only when MSFS is put in window mode and MCE minimized and displayed again does it show as normal. Do you know what can be causing this? Thank you.

Hi! I'm having trouble with the Checklists feature. The Checklists tab is grayed out and inactive. When I click on it, I get the message "This feature is currently disabled, you can re-enable it from the General section." In the General section, the "Coordinated Checklists" option doesn't have a checkmark, and when I try to enable it, the checkmark appears and then disappears immediately. The "Coordinated Checklists" option just won't stay enabled. Am I doing something wrong? I've also noticed that when I enable or disable the "Strict Checklist" option in Advanced Options, the program crashes. I'm using the IniBuilds A320Neo with the default livery.

About checklist voice: When I call "...checklist", will FO confirm actual situation of related item in checklist before change to next item in checklist? For example: FO call: Seatbelt. Then I answer: On. But actually Seatbelt switch is "off". Will FO feedback that I am wrong and need to recheck to turn on Seatbelt switch? Lately I noticed that the FO announces "radio altimeter ready" everytime when climbing through 2500 ft AGL on departure. That should only occur when descending, shouldn't it?
