Hopefully Topcat upgrades to include the 777 it's a little behind, as the 737-900 is not part of the aircraft list. Or the 737-600 also.

At cruising altitude, whats the fuel flow of the 777 per hour? Also, how much fuel does it usually land with? With the NGX, I usually plan for one thousand pounds of fuel pper 100 miles of cruise and add at least 8 thousand to that. This usually works pretty well and I land with between 7 and 8 thousand on most flights. This is a highly unrealistc way to plan fuel, but it works for me. Im just wondering if there will be any similar calculation for the T7, which obviously consumes a lot more fuel.

I dont know if its too early, but is there any expected performence the the T7 Well have?(They well be better than the NGX once?) Im asking because you talked about a "new simulation engine",and im wondering if its suppposed to make the performence better also... BTW My NGX performence are pretty good,in most of the sciniries i have no stutters at all,but in very heavy sceniries i have little stutters, but i can live with it :) Thank you PMDG For this amazing T7 that you're developing

Im sure I'm not the only one who has thought about this, but I'm not carrying it out as yet. As we wait for the 777, who wants a home cockpit for <$50? Well I do, Well obviously you won't be getting a top notch cockpit so if you're looking for that, leave this topic NOW. Okay, here's my idea, if you just so happen to have spare cardboard or stronger material at home, and provided you've the time, how about taking, http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=91&idcategory=23 That, and slapping it on there, cut it out and voila, your home cockpit, under $50! If you aren't being submersed enough, buy about 4 iPads, Velcro them on each g…

I guess we should have more information soon, but the manuals items have appeared in teh PMDG shop at http://www.precisionmanuals.com/ProductCart/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=23 I'm quite sure we'll soon see an update here :) Would also be great to see pics from the 777 instead of the 737 ones :) I'll probably let myself seduce like for the 737 :)

Not sure if the question has already been answered but will the 777 be coming with the same type load manger as the 747 v1 or the Ngx style load manger

Hey folks! Just wondering, how do pilots create flight paths over the ocean? Are there waypoints over the ocean? Or is it more direct? Or less direct? thanks!

Hi, Would it be possible to implement the FMS feature seen at 1:25 in this video? As the ATIS in FSX has such a short range, I usually find myself wondering what approach to expect, and end up having to reprogram the FMC when ATC assigns me another approach than the one I've started flying. The result is usually a rather messy approach... Maybe it would be possible to either get the ATIS data directly from the FSX weather stations, or ATIS service, or I'm sure you could get the data from WX add-ons, or even a website or server. The best solution though would be if the data could be obtained directly from FSX, as the most interesting part is which runw…

Hello all, I was recently watching a video on another post and I noticed those moving surfaces that seem to be part of the flap/slat system but that I've never noticed before. They seem to be controlled somehow independently from the flaps as they extend and retract and move to different angles on takeoff and landings. They are situated just above the engine nacelles and form the ideal link between near wing and far wing flaps. Can anyone explain me what they are and how they work? and Will their movement and action be modelled in the PMDG 777? The video is here and you can notice them at 13.45min and again on approach (nice and rainy, you can tell it's the bloody Englis…

In the image you can see a display and a few controls to the aft right of the flight deck. I've never seen this before, what is it for? I can see what looks like a track pad too maybe? And of course, the all-important question - will it be modelled on the PMDG 777?! :P Thanks

Will the t& have serviced based failures? I would like to assume it would, and what about the high quality manuals from boeing? I'm really only interested in the QRH, hope it will have them aswell.

After viewing the outside of the T7 shown by Capt Robert....there is a small fin on the outside of the engine cover..on the inboard side of each engine......can you explain the purpose for this fin, Also if Ryan is reading this...will the T7 be tested by someone with a TH2 go and 3 screens, Cheers Don Nelson

Hi! I just found a picture on this board and was wondering if the red marked thing is something like an input device. How does it work? Can it be simulated? Thx to all people who are trying to make me smarter by answering this question! ;) http://i.imgur.com/MWWfM.jpg

Does anyone know if the Thrust asymmetry compensator will be modeled in the PMDG 777? It's a very nice feature that came in handy on a trip back from Tokyo a few years back. Pete Locascio

Hey gents, have a question for you all. On the United 777 video from Just Planes, they are able to start both engines at the same time. Now this is the 772 with P&W engines. All the other videos I have only one engine is started at a time. Is this something specific to the -200 series and/or the P&W engines? Just curious - Dana Palmer

Something I was interested in, will you give us the option to switch out the Minimums call? A lot of Airlines use "+100" instead of "Approaching Minimums". Will you be giving us the choice in the 777's FMC? Something that I love about the 777 is the hydraulics, they're some noisy things ha. Before doing things like flap movement, turns etc you hear them make a noise that I can't quite put in text (go watch a video) will/have you implemented that? Same with the noise you get when you pressurise them. Okay I think that's it, I cannot wait to hear the engine start, will put bass full on my beats and just.. enjoy. In fact, I may go to a maintenance area and keep Sta…

Interesting video from the Boeing channel on YT. I was wondering, is this kind of thing possible in FS? It would be pretty neat rather than entering it manually for 52 waypoints!

Hi PMDG,could you please include presets of airline options for the 777?I mean a list of airlines and you can select one and all applicable options are set. It's quite frustrating to search airliners.net or such databases for the required information...

It would be nice to select a failure not only by time but maybe also by altitude (f.e. reaching FL330 and an engine will fail). Creating an external software to control all the failures (via another computer in the same network) would be nice as well. /edit: maybe also V/S so you can select for example 4000 feet and a negative V/S (descending) to trigger something that should happen during approach
