Does the 777 have a similar flap overspeed protection like the one found on the 737NG? Mitch Bowman

Something I haven't seen in an Addon that I've flown and that's the ability to add Step Climbs/Mach-Speed Restrictions in the FMC. [Legs page] e.g; SSM .83/350S And that would create the step climb and speed! Cheers.

Hi PMDG's Team ! A small question. Is it possible to see implemented in the 777, the Honeywell system. Smartrunway and /or Smartlanding system. With this sweet woman's voice. https://honeywellrun...ut-overview.pdf An example in this video but you should certainly know what I mean. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-8a6qbF9ECg&feature=related Thank you for your attention and thank you in advance for your response. I. Need. To. Know. These. Things. 1. Will the 777 include paint kits for all variants so the great painters on this forum can do some requests? 2. Will the 777's FMC have the PMDG SETUP tab like the NGX did? I know the MD11 didn't have this, so I'd find it cool on the 777. 3. Will the 777 have different start up modes like the NGX? (Cold and Dark, etc.) I know it seems early to be asking these questions, but I had to get them out of my mind. (More to come, BTW...) Thanks!

Hi folks, with all the excitment of the 777 announcement recently, I've been watching a number of youtube videos (as you do :P ) and was just wondering why, when the flaps are in the takeoff range and takeoff power/thrust is set, do the flaperons move from their drooped position back up, only to droop again?

I was just wondering, where do I need to be on the look out for an update? This forum or the General Forum?

Robert has said that the team appreciates feedback. So I'm going to give some based on the latest video. Mainly, about the EFB in the 777 and NGX. I really just wanted to say, that as much as I would absolutely love to have the EFB in both aircraft, I'm worried that it could tax the aircraft's performance. Perhaps there would be a way for the team to allows us to enable it via the Aircraft equipment option in each aircraft. I know that seems obvious, but I'm just saying that I and likely severaly others would appreciate this option. If it doesn't tax the airplane that much, then I am allll for it!mitch bowman

Will the Communication MFD system be modeled in the 777 and if not can the ACARS and Company pages be created by 3rd party developers through the SDK. Also will the Accept, Cancel, Reject buttons be modeled as well. If you are unsure as to what I am talking about reference the Communications chapter section MFD Communications in the FCOM for more information. I have always felt this is one area (Inflight Dispatching) of FS that is waiting for someone to come along and properly render even if all the messages are just coming from a pre programmed database during flight. If you have not had the chance try doing yor pre deparure clearance with heathrow using CPDLC..... then …

Since, I'm assuming, a lot of problems with releasing the SDK should have been ironed out with the NGX release, I was wondering if the SDK will be released this time, along with the release of the base pack. The reason I'm asking is that I need to know if we need to start cranking up the pressure on Bryan York for the FS2Crew 777 Voice & Button release soon after. :clapping:

I was just inquiring when will the Paint Kits be available? On release or prior to release? Only because I'm interested in learning so was thinking about learning on the POSKY 777 but wasn't sure if you're going to release yours sometime soon for the 77L. Cheers!

Hi fellow PMDG lovers, The usual question (it was just a matter of time before someone asked this. Maybe it even already was asked in which case all my apologies) : considering the amazing quality of the 737NGX system and gauges depiction, and considering it will most probably be at least as good for the 777/747 v2, would it be possible to create a version WITHOUT a VC ? A version that could be partially run on a networked PC in order to get the most out of FS in terms of landscape graphics but leave the system/gauges rendering to another PC (a la SimA/PM) ? I am no software developper so I have no idea how difficult it would be, what it would take, how differ…

Hello all, I'm looking forward to the T7, but I would like to make a request, which is, can you make one other version of the T7 where part of it's wings fold up, this was an idea Boeing actually had so the aircraft could fit in a small parking spot so other aircraft can park beside it. I read this idea in a very informative Boeing 777 book. Frank

Sort of confused here − RSR stated in the conference that both the 777-200LR and the 777-300ER will be available in the base pack, but Tabs recently made a post saying that the 777-300ER will be the first expansion to the base 777-200LR.

Hi Folks,Happy Easter!!! So, was watching the PMDG Comference in Munich on youtube the other day, and, a question popped into my mind(i have only been able to post now becuase in past attempts when i have clicked the "post" button my computor has crashed) - PMDG Announced that the initial release of the PMDG 777(X) will inclulde the 200LR and the 300ER Varients.I don't mind if its people with their views and opinions or if it's someone from PMDG answering this: Why model the 200LR and 300ER FIRST I ask Becuase, in my OPINION, surely it would be better to Model the 200/200ER first. PMDG said that they chose to model the 200LR and 300ER first becuase the models…

Could someone explain what exactly is an Alpha Model? My guess is it's the first model ha. I saw Tabs or Ryan his name is saying the 777 was the Alpha version so was curious to what that even means. Cheers!
