PMDG 777

i just bought an ASUSG75V with the 3rd gen i 7, 12 gigs of ram, and a Geforce GTX card, can I run it?

Like most people, I'm waiting patiently for the T7.. or not so patiently -_- Not sure if anyone has posted this on here or not but I have had this doco on repeat just admiring it's beauty so thought I would share it here I know it's lengthy.. but that means more details.. I can't wait to attempt the one stop around the world flight in this beast of a plane Now to find a new obsession to past the time.... suggestions? Kane Foord

Hey there, I haven't found this video posted anywhere in the forum yet, if it has feel free to delete or ignore this post ;-) I found this awesome video and I wanted to share it with you. Tell the story of the 777 quiet well so I am really really really looking forward to PMDG's 777! :-) Just imagine the sound of these massive engines when you apply T/O thrust, the air speed is rising and you thunder down the runway until you reach VR, you slowly but steady rotate and she is rocketing into the air like there is no tomorrow! I assume we'll have the ability to choose between 2, 3 and single class configuration in the FMS like we can for the 737? I would appreciate this feature. thanks!

As we near the release of the PMDG 777X base pack I thought it would be useful to create a single forum topic where all the 777 features and info (such as EFB, taxi camera, ECL) that have been debated (and resolved by the development team) are put together to form a more or less concrete picture/idea of what we are going to get upon release. I apologise if this has been asked and answered (I tried the Search function, but it's a little "broad" in its scope), but is there any chance for a cargo version of the 777? I run an all cargo outfit and we are dying for some true cargo planes. Oddly, the FS world seems to place far more emphasis on the passenger-toting side of things but in fact cargo is a much bigger business in the aviation world. PMDG to their credit, has addressed this with the 747-400F (and this will be a no-brainer for me when it's released) but a lot of outfits are using the 777 as well. Anyway, I thought I'd make the pitch, and again my apologies if this has already been asked. I did look -_- .

What will you first flight be with the PMDG 777 after you buy it?

Sirs, Will the FMC in the new 777 have the abilitiy to calculate take-off limits and advise whether the a/c is weight limited or TODA limited? Having extensively flown the 'Queen' I consider this to be a very useful, if not essential, tool. Regards Mike

Hello, I understand it will differ with outside air temp in real life- but is it possiable to make the 777 with bigger contrails like the picture attached? I know that the 777 cockpit in the reality is light brown colored but it would be nice IMO to add an option to render it dark grey like the NGX one. That brown aspect IMO is closer to first 747 of late '70 era despite 777 are like that also in the reality, I know that. A nice option to have it dark grey would be a nice to have, don't you agree ?

What are the chances of any developer releasing the paint kit for the upcoming sim so we can get painting liveries before the actual release of the full product? What would the dangers of doing that be? What are the pros and cons?

The pilot keep awake thingie or PKAT (technical term)what the heck is it called?)) would be a great option to be able to disable due to long oceanics while at work or sleep in the crew bunk(my bed). I just hope that is the case or not modeled at all. Those undercariage cameras I would think would be easy to model as they would just be FSX cameras superimposed on a gauge and would be pretty neat option to have. Just my o2

Kidding. I saw someone post a fake *leaked* video and thought I'd try it out. MAN I love PMDG and can't wait for this bird, like the rest of you. I also like checking up on this forum to see if we have any new news. It's kinda depressing. I think I need to try to forget this forum exists until the release because every time I come here is like checking under the Christmas tree on Christmas morning only to find Santa hasn't come.

I have kind of been searching for an answer to this, but I have not really found anything close that has been said by a PMDG staff member. Is it a goal, or possibility, that the 777 will maintain the same level of performance FPS wise that the NGX did? Maybe better? (Anything is possible :Thinking: ) I know the general goal is to always squeeze out as much performance while not loosing quality, and I know that the 777 obviously has a much larger cockpit. It would be amazing if PMDG can maintain the same level of performance, or even better.

I know whats the diffrence between those 2(Range,weight...),but is there any diffrence in Cockpit?(The Model of the cockpit,and the gagues)

Hi guys Just a quick question that I thought of regarding the upcoming PMDG Boeing 777. Will you guys at PMDG be simulating the ability to open cockpit windows or the cockpit door or moving seats (as was done in the B747)? It's not a major thing, just something I'm curious about as I think it'd be a neat little function.
