PMDG 777

  1. The 777-200LR is the first product to be released and I was wondering why the GE-90-110B1 was not being modeled first but the GE-90-115B was. I know that the 77W is coming next but won't 77L flight model be a little off with the larger engines?

Hi PMDG's Team ! Think you can reproduce this long boot sequence of the 777? Initializations screenswith loudspeakers? I love when a plane wakes, a long wake of more than 2 minutes. Finally think you can reproduce the flickering screens? Thank you for your response and to illustrate my claim here is the only video found on the web. Sorry about the poor quality. Thank you and good luck for the finalization of this great product! Best Regards ! Kevin http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnULDx6Cw2Y

  5. hey, I know the answer to my question will be no but it's still worth a try; as some of you will remember, the airlinerxp team promised and even showed a screenshot (in the german magazine flightxpress) of adding dynamic reflections on the exteriour, which means that you'll see the wings reflected on the fuse for example, they even said it will be also for the FS2004 version. As you can guess, my question is if the pmdg team could make something like this, surely the answer will be no as I sad at the beginning, but hope dies last, doesn't it ^_^ greets Johnny

Hi all, By looking at this, I think PMDG has a new competitor, however in the past nobody ever succeeded to bring out a greater product than pmdg products. So what is there to worry about??? [media=] Regards, Frits

I was wondering if the thought to model or show a heat blur effect when engines are running, has been considered. Just a thought. Thanks

I read somewhere on another forum that the T7 has the checklists available from the MFD, and then the pilots follow them, and the computer will check them off until the checklist is complete. I don't know if that is a customer-specific option, or is only used on one model, but is that feature a possibility? That would be quite cool to see.

  9. I'm looking forward to the release of your T7. It's been announced that checklists will be there. Also the section of the non-normal menu? It would be a treat in combination with the failure model, I dare to expect ... Thanks for a brief reply! Olli

Now, this is something I've been wondering about greatly. If you don't know where the TOGA Switches are then look here: http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ For me, they look some what harder to get to, than the 737 at least that are on the side. Something PSS did if I remember correctly was, if you push the throttles further than (don't quote me) 60% or so it activated TOGA. I mention PSS as I know some of their 777 team works for PMDG now. Are you doing something similar or in the sim sitting sideways, is it easier to press them? Cheers

  13. So I was reading this press release, http://forum.avsim.n...views/pmdg.html I was just thinking to myself, when did PMDG actually say they were possibly 2 Months of Beta? I'm sure I don't recall Rob, Ryan or anyone saying it in the forum or Conference Videos. "PMDG has historically been known for a development cycle that ranges in a two to three year period. Attendees at Rob's presentation were also surprised to hear that the B777 is within a month or two of BETA testing, signaling a rapidly approaching release date." If that's correct that would mean it's entering beta any time now...

Yep, The EFB ! Was just snooping around at simflight France, and found a video about another company who has implemented an EFB in their cockpit. Very impressive. BUT GUYS, IF THEY CAN DO IT, YOU CAN TOO ! (even better) I was thinking about 3 things: 1- Really hope PMDG can reproduce this device/tool in high resolution without killin the fps 2- a system allowing us to update our charts would be fantastic 3- My preference would be to hold the plane until the EFB tech is fully implemented to make it like the real thing. The 777 without that tool would be a bit sad.... (just my point of view)

  15. Take a look at the link, If it works within FSX without killing the frame rates it will be amazing. I hope PMDG are considering a similar but better of course flight planning tool.

When are the very first 777's (ones built in the early 90's) due for retirement? The A320 was launched in the 1980's but a few air frames are now hitting the bone yard due to cycles vs accidents from what I see.

I know it won't be as good as the PMDG bird, but CS has released a preview video of their 777's EFB.... Nothing breeds a good product like good competition!

Hi Captains. Does anyone have any idea when the PMGD Boeing 777 might be released? Or if it is even still on the drawing board. Just curious as I'm anxiously awaiting a high quality 777 to fly. Thanks in advance. David Bell

I was curious to know what it's like operating the 777-200/300 on the ground. It checked the lengths and it's close to the A340-600 in length and a fully loaded aircraft. Just wondering how challenging it is to taxi in, especially since I sometimes have trouble fitting the 737 into tight spots when taxiing from the cockpit.

  23. Hello,(sorry for my english) I have one simple question: Is what would be that in your 777? It would be really great! Thank you in advance, hoping it is better than the 737 NGX, level: light in wing, VC, you do a great job, one trusts you!

  25. I was just wondering where will I be able to fit the 777. I know the MD-11 had (well, it still does, but I can't get myself to fly it after the ngx came out) a really short takeoff and landing roll and I managed to fit it in places like Belfast, Bristol, and even Kos. How is the 777 compared to that? I know someone is going to say "use google" but I think the guys here are better experts.
