Can we make a thread of everyones favorite 777 videos? Any 777 works. I thought it'd be a fun idea to get excited for the new PMDG products on the way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvH0haRzstI

We are all wrong about the delay. Can't believe we didn't see through this already. The delay is simply due to the fact that PMDG are simultaneously launching the Boeing 787-9. Or... not... Should we start a forum about this one once the T7 is out? It will give you all something to whine and complain about when not flying the T7 :Peace:

Hey all, With the pending release of the 777-200LR/F, and hopefully the -300/ER along with the -200/ER at some point, I was wondering what are the cockpit and systems differences between the earlier models and later models. There are the different engine options, different weights, different sizes and different ranges, but what are the less notable differences between them all buried in the systems? I may have this all wrong but I remember hearing that there were differences between them all. Thanks!

Hi PMDG team, wondering if you have the accurate options for Air Canada? If not is anyone here on the forum that would have that?

  10. Dear PMDG, I hope you are well. Just a quick question/request really and that is if you are thinking of not doing a 200ER expansion (I realise no official statement has been made either way) then could you please include the following liveries in the base pack because they are 777 operators and do use the 200ER. I see from froogles preview you have already created fictional 200 liveries of operators that use the ER variant not the LR and just wondered if you could include the list below or confirm if indeed they are included. The liveries are: Air France Alitalia Thai Thanks Duncan Odgers Whoops I forgot to add American Airlines :-) Duncan Odger…

The 777 is parked at the gate in the updated PMDG FB page banner. I guess they skipped the landing and jumped straight to the unloading. Best regards, Robin.

Hello, today I bought PFPX but I can't find any 777F Profile. Does anybody now if there will be an 777F Profile? regards Atr1x

  14. Evening Gents! I awoke this morning to an email from Ryan saying there was a new fictional livery that I might be interested in checking out... As we near the end of beta, I'm reminded what a fantastic job PMDG have done with the external model. The reflections, the subtle nuances of a modern day airliner, are all there. What a freaking cool-looking airplane. Enjoy! Not long now...

Will the 777 have a separate livery manager (like the NGX), or will it use the NGX's (If installed) also?

Ive am familiar with the 737 and 747. Am tempted to jump in the deep end and fly the plane as soon as I can buy it but maybe I should spend a day or two reading the manuals and tutorial first?

Just watching Froogles "Fully Loaded" video and noticed it is possible to copy the wind block data from AS2012, chuck it in a notepad file, name it the same as the co-route (but put .wx instead), and the enroute winds will be downlinked into the FMC (well actually I am assuming so, I haven't actually watched the rest of the video yet only the first few minutes where he chucks it in a notepad file. I am just assuming what will be in the future of the video ^_^ ). My question is does this support other weather clients aswell, mainly Opus? Opus uses GRIB data (and I believe this data is available from a notepad file somewhere) so I assume it would be possible to use...an…

  20. In Nick's (AoA) informative video on YouTube, after takeoff, the pitch model changes from TOGA to ALT at 1,300 ft, with the MCP altitude set at 3,000 ft. the ALT annunciation has a green box around it, as it should (1:04:05 in the video). Then, when the aircraft actually captures the 3,000 ft altitude, the ALT annunciation gets another green box around it, even though there is no change in the displayed mode (1:05:04 in video). My understanding is that the green box only appears when there is a change in the mode. Since the box appeared without a change in the mode, I was wondering if this was perhaps a minor bug. Rushad E. Accidental double post. Sorry. …

I would like clarification on this, are the 200, 200ER and 300 planned for the 777 series? I ask because I really like aircraft that have different engine models, the though of using the Trent 800 and PW 4000 appeal to me a lot more than just having the GE90. I saw it mentioned many moons ago and wondered had it went any further.

Hi guys Can you give me some indication of how much space I will need on my hard disk for the 777? Cheers Jay

I saw this on reddit today thought some of you may like it. Shows the power being demonstrated when #2 is at takeoff power while #1 is at idle in an engine vibration test. Link to original post and comments from op. Edit: Double Post.Sorry, don't know how that happened.
