Just had a great real-time flight between KFOT and beautiful San Diego. ASN was cracking thunder claps from lift-off at KFOT, pretty well until the south side of L.A. Popping 60 FPS...and great full slider immersion. Can't wait for Southern Cal...it's going to be great!!!! California Cruzin' Ses

Hi, I am trying to get reverse throttle at my CH Throttle Quadrant for the default aircraft Beech King Air 350 but it fails all the time. I follow the: Configuring FSUIPC with CH USB Yoke ... ... .. by John Cook but it fails all the time. Reverse will not works otherwise the throttle works OK. What am I doing wrong?? Is there any flightsimmer who has done this settings and with luck? If so will you present part of your FSUIPC4.ini file!

Hey all, just bought P3D yesterday and I love it very much already, but I cannot get the Russian Migration tool to work? I've trawled the forums and have found no definitive answer... btw, I change C:\Program Files\\Prepar3D v2 to V3 (because that's what I have installed) and it was slightly happier but still refused to work... thanks for the help all!

So, I'm an avid simmer. I have been simming since the days of Sublogic ATP, and MSFS 3.0, and as you might imagine I have quite the investment in FSX. With the recent release of P3Dv3, I decided it may be time to look into what it would take to upgrade to the new platform, and boy was that eye opening! After purchasing P3Dv3 Academic, and paying for any required upgrades for the various add-ons I really enjoy (A2A, PMDG, VRS, etc.) I'm looking at around $600 to upgrade!! :Black Eye: So, was it worth it? Hi all, I have this really annoying problem that I can't for the life of me get my ground textures to sharpen up in p3dv3, I have fsx dx10 running which is super sharp and crisp solid 30fps ftx global, vector, open LC, ftx mesh 2010, Rex4, asn and a few regions in both but p3dv3 ground textures are horribly blurry, running NVi on both sims, fsx with 8xcass and 4sgaa in p3d running 8msa and 8sgaa, followed the p3d setup guide, spent weeks with p3d in sim settings but no change, for me at the moment fsx is the much better sim, I'm now not sure what to do, give up on p3d? Running win10 64bit, 32gb ram, gtx970m, tried various AF, FFTF settings, is it me or p3d? Cheers Rod…

I recently purchased P3D and plan to move my extensive FSX installation over towards the new sim. I installed P3D to a new separate SSD, and intend to move all my sim related software to this drive. As I start to install things to P3D, should I uninstall items from FSX on the other drive to prevent registry and file location issues? Trying to get things re-installed as clean as possible...

Could be missing something. Does widefs key come within max half hour like all the other addons or does it take days, after purchase. Cause just purchased widefs key from simmarket, but does not include key. The mail said another email should arrive or download something from somewhere...{wording very confusing here} But waited few hours now for email, checked my account in Simmarket, found a download, but its only widefs installer, but no key. To clarify the widefs installer I had anyway cause its free to download. Hi all- I've set up a dual boot Win7/Win10 to transition over to Win10 permanently. I set AffinityMask=14 in prepar3d.cfg as I've done on my Win7 original side. Doesn't work inWin10. Task manager shows Core 0 @ 100%. Anyone else seen this? Thanks, Mark

Is this in my head or is there something here. I just replaced my power supply from a 600Watt to a 1000 watt. Same video card, GTX 980TI. It appears performance has increased in all aspects. Computers are not my world, so am I seeing things or is this real?

I have installed P3D 2.5 and the EZDOK 1.18 beta, but when I go to click the middle mouse button the view doesn't change. This is also the same when I go to try and edit a view - as none of the defined keys do anything. What is the problem here? (Screenshots of what is currently configured below): Any help is greatly appreciated

Uninstalled V2.5 via "official" process. Also deleted references in the User/App Data area. Ran CCleaner and its Registry cleaner. Reboot/Start Windows10. The install of v3.0 goes properly. but as soon as I try to start it I get the error below. The code is meaningless to me:

Uggghhh!! FsCaptain used to be so simple, now you update to version 1.7xxx you have to start nerfing with all sorts of options that are making simple program too complex and buggy. Anyway trying to get this thing to give me flight for default p3d mooney acclaim and no matter how much I check PAX AND cargo in the ac config file for fscaptain, it refuses to see the plain as allowing pax flight. Justallows cargo only for this plane. Despite me changing options for the ac config to match plane it sees as allowing pax. So anybody with tips to solve this. I am running P3Dv3 and have several addon sceneries and airports installed. Generally I have left the order in the Scenery Library as set by the installer, then checked to make sure there were no issues. The Orbx sceneries (Global, OpenLC EU, regions and airports) always install in the correct order and stay that way. But I have had a problem with Sim 720 and UK2000 airports. I generally have to go into the Scenery Library and make sure the airports are above the region where they are located. They generally are set by the installer under these regions, so I move them up where they should be, then carry on flying for the session. But when I exit P3D and start it at a l…

I'm thinking about joining a VA (which is capable of utilising P3Dv3 )and was wondering whether anyone can recommend any good VA's. I'm looking for a regional US airline or any airline where the 737NG is in operation and probably one global airline. I'm not sure what makes a VA 'good' v 'not so good' so open to suggestions from experience. thanks

Win7 i7490K @4.79Ghz GTX TintanX Been having heavy stutters since installing ProATC. Miles better than RC4 and the co-pilot is super from takeoff to approach and even vectors the plane himself. Anyway using processlaso where I can see each cpu cores load as a bar, making eight bars for eight cores in my case. I noticed my stutters occurring only when proatc using sound atc or back chatter checking process laso I can see the cpu bars for the cores proatc is on (01) rises and falls like equaliser bars on for sound. So at that point I used laso to lower cpu, IO and memory priority for proatc. The result was smoother flight for longer periods, with ver…

Sorry if this gets asked a lot, but I've read through so many TrackIR/Prepar3d posts that didn't apply to me. I have P3Dv3. I have Ezdok and TrackIR installed and they work flawlessly in my PMDG 737-800 NGX. When I change into the PMDG 737-900 NGX, the TrackIR fails to move anything. Ezdok is still operational in this case. I have no idea where the problem lies. Head tracking is enabled as far as I can tell from the Ezdok interface options. I thought I read somewhere that I need to edit the aircraft's cameras maybe? I don't remember needing to do that for the 737-800. Any help would be appreciated!

I remember awhile back ago, someone posted a way to enable AI traffic at Kai Tak airport in Hong Kong. Does anyone know how to do this?
