hi all just downloaded fsl a320 already bought for v3 so clicked on update worked ok switched off av installed as admin entered my details id serial etc the setup says it has a problem and will have to close tried redownloading and installing now 4 times same thing contacted support now just waiting wondering if anybody else having any problems jeff storey

Hello, I just bought P3D V4 and I'm trying to get it to install, but after I start the installer it gives me an error - 0x800713ex - Asia. Also for some reason default it does not want to install into the x64bit file, so I manually have to re route it. Troubleshooting I have done: Re Downloaded it, downloaded each part individually, used WinRAR to unpack it form the zip, run it in admin mode/ not in admin mode, restarted computer. I have done research to see if anyone else has the same issue, it looks like others have had the same issue, but no solution for me. Thank you!

Hello fellow captains: It's been a while since I visited P3D, and there were some major updates (i.e. V3.4 and its hotfixes). After I installed the lastest version of V3, I noticed that the dynamicfriction.lua stopped working. FSUIPC is confirmed to be working properly and can access SIM1 Friction Table. There are sources pointing to a change of the friction table, but no one has confirmed the fact. If there are changes, it's not detectable from using the simulator itself. So is there anyone who has insight into dynamicfriction and friction tables who can point out what exactly changed in the friction table that rendered the dynamicfrictions.lua file essentially usel…

I want to know if the canopy glare can be turned off as default with an aircraft config mod. I find the glare to be unacceptable in VR flight and don't want to have to us the Shift+2 option every time to set the glare off. I also drop the instrument glare and the wing add-ons as well. I have looked through all the files in the "Alabeo Extra 300S P3D" folder under Airplanes but can't find anything that would allow me to reset the default to no glare. Any ideas? Joe

Hello, I have just switched to P3D V4 from FSX today and I love it! Unfortunately I am experiencing severe lag both in the aircraft menu, as well as in the main menu. Interestingly in the aircraft menu this is only happening when I am using the detailed view with the aircraft turning in the preview window. Therefore I assume that the small aircraft preview also causes the lag in the main menu...has anybody else experienced something like this? Is this a known problem and maybe due to some setting? Has anyone installed Aerosoft's Barcelona pro in V4? If so, what is your opinion? Most particularly, the performance.

Hello All, I have been steadily building my simulator step by step and consulting the Avsim forum for advice. Your input does mean a lot to me and has been ever so valuable. I am having concerns about the many add-on's out there and how they actually are used during a flight. Here's what I mean.... I have only Prepar3d V4 installed on my system. Hello, I just bought p3d v4 and installed it. I am using macbook pro 2015 with intel hd 6100 graphics card. Here is the main issue where I get only 6 to 10 fps in the sim even at low settings. Please suggest.

In P3D V4, I've uninstalled my previous versions of Barcelona by Justsim and Latin VFR, in anticipation of adding the new Aerosoft Mega Barcelona. In checking the default Barcelona, the airport is clean except for some left over extraneous gates. For the life of me I cannot find what file is causing those random gates to appear. I've checked the SODE directory and removed any traces of LEBL there and all other likely places like the world-scenery directory and the P3 V4 addons directory.There might be a leftover AFCAD somewhere, but I can't find it. It probably has an odd name. Also, I do not use MyTraffic. I would be very appreciative if anyone has a suggestion?

Hi all, So i've decided to fly a few of the default aircraft that come with P3D. I'm just wondering if its me that has a problem here or if this is normal. When i start on the runway with the Alabeo Extra 300s and apply full thrust for takeoff, Within seconds the aircraft pulls sharply to the left. I apply rudder to make the correction but the plane just spins out of control and doesn't seem flyable. Is this normal for this aircraft to do this? I'm not sure if i'm doing something wrong. I have made sure that my joystick is calibrated.

Just thought I would share that FSL said that the 320 won't be released today, but definitely "within a few days". Take it for what it is worth but I thought I would share since this is something more than "soon / when it is ready". Within a few days can mean a lot of things but I think it is getting very close to release.

Hi guys, after upgrading to 4.1 I get the message "rebuilding new scenery database/file" on every start up now. I didnt installed any new sceneries...any ideas why? Thanks in advance Mark

Hi everyone I'm back with a problem I had before... When I try to load a scenario at 99% loading state P3D stops working. A Windows update caused that for me before and I had to deinstall that update every time again so P3D works. But now with the newest Windows Update that doesn't help anymore... Loading a default scenario and then switching to my aircraft doesn't work either :( I hope someone can help me out. Thanks in advance!

I'm just starting with P3D V4.1. I own the Tormado F3 Mission simulator and use it with VR (P3d/FlyInside/ORBX) to allow visitors to fly against Cold War type threats. I've had a good system running in P3DV3 but keen to make the switch to V4 for better fidelity. I have a number of former Soviet types loaded as aircraft (Bear, Badger, Bison, Mainstay etc). All of them were downloaded as FSX simulations. I don't need to fly them but want to launch them as AI targets under AI Tracker X and intercept them. Loading up the P3DV4 Scenario screen, they now show as "no preview" and don't appear when P3D loads. I understand it's that they may originally have been FS9…

Dynamic mode : different cloud textures ( up to 8 ) are being loaded along the flight according to the weather conditions Global mode : 1 cloud textureset is being loaded at the beginning of the flight according to that weather condition. It only works for clouds. People choose EnvTex because it had better looking Sky textures than ASCA. In the mean time after several updates the ASCA Skies look way better. Luckily you can choose which Sky textures are being used : ASCA / EnvTex / ASCA + EnvTex. See some of my vids and you will see very realistic clouds and skies...

Please help me understand how to monitor my CPU's performance while running Prepar3d. If I try to open task manager or CPU-Z while running Prepar3d the sim pauses and won't "un-pause" until I minimize the sim! Forum users are always mentioning performance. How do you determine it?! Thank you, Don

I installed v4 and then I ran Orbx Fx3 central and installed Global Base, Vector, Europe LC, North America LC, England, Scotland, Wales. All showed as installed correctly. I then ran P3d and set off from Cardiff, UK. The scenery was awful and looked nothing like the scenery on the many utube videos I have watched. So I downloaded scenery.cfg editor as I had read good things about it. I set it up and it loaded all my scenery files into its view pane. They all seemed to be in a different position to the order I had installed them but they were all ticked and had no errors showing.
