Hello all, I did an approach into KSAN yesterday in the PMDG 777-300ER and sadly the textures on the approach to Runway 27 were quite blurred, not like the screenshots ORBX released. I was wondering if anyone would be able to suggest anything to improve my experience with the scenery. Would lowering the settings work, such as Level of Detail Radius? In the manual for KSAN it suggests setting at Large but I couldn’t find an option for that in Prepar3D V4.1. I tried following the recommended settings via the manual. I should note I am using ORBX Base, Global Vector, Open LC North America & Southern California with Active Sky for P3D V4. Any suggestions…

I remember in FSX there was a site where you could send your .cfg file to and it came back optimized which much smoother operation (forgot what it was called). We would not have this for Prepar3d v4.1 by any chance? Thanks

Hi, I have a problem with some (but not all) external views when selecting an aircraft to fly from the library window. Only the VC is shown and odd bits and pieces. This affects default a/c as well as non default. I suspected Ezdok 2.5 which I have recently installed. I tried running the config tool again - no change. I then disabled Ezdok but it made no difference. This seems to me to rule Ezdok out. Anyone have any suggestions please. Baz

Hi All of a sudden I am having a huge problem with my thrust (I think) in P3D v4. I load the default flight, then switch aircraft to the default Baron. I take off OK but after a few minutes I seem to loose all power and just keep descending. My throttles are at full and also my propeller speed is at max. I have plenty of fuel and the yoke and trim wheel are working OK. Even when I turn the autopilot on the aircraft will not keep it's altitude. I have even had the engines turn off in mid flight. I deleted my P3D.cfg but that did not help. I don"t really want to uninstall and start over again, but I am pulling my hair out to discover what is wrong. …

Hey everyone, I've been recently experiencing stutters every 2-3 seconds (frames steady at 25-30 fps) whilst flying the FSlabs A320 which only really bothers me whilst taxiing. I know I do not have the most up to date graphics card with a gtx970 so initially coined it down to my hardware, however, I noticed that default aircraft were suffering from the same stutters only after I installed the A320. To test further I've done a clean install of P3d v4.1 with no add-ons and found that the stutters had completely disappeared. Hi all All of a sudden I have this problem where my mixture controls drop to zero and the engines cut out. As soon as I raise the mixture controls, the engines re start. The only problem is that it happens every few minutes. It happens if I have automixture ticked and unticked. I have even reinstalled P3D from scratch and it is still happening, so I am at a loss and pulling my hair out. I have checked my assignments and don't think I have a conflict. i have no failures ticked. I have turned on carb heat. If anyone has any ideas on how to fix it, I would greatly appreciate it. Hello to all. I've installed P3d v4 not long ago and I've noticed that when flying offline with the traffic tab at 50% I see no AI traffic at all. It happens to road and airport traffic, my roads and airports are empty. Any ideas on what must be happening ? Am running P3d v4.0.23.21468. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards. Aldrei Zanette

To whom it may concern, I recently noticed that my P3Dv4 Academic Version does not display the vehicles on the preview window. I select the aircraft and it does not display correctly as like its missing files or something. Has anyone experienced this before? I tried registering in P3D forum to post this issue there, but i am having issues passing the authentication access because it does not make sense. I will provide a picture. I am trying to add the p3dv4 default gps gauge to the electra panel, but it does not seem to work like FSX panel mod. I'd appreciate an example. The electra has no 2d windows, so I simply created a [windows01] for the gps and a [windows00] for the main panel. I don't have anything written in the window00, since I don't know what to add. see my panel.cfg . I remember back in FSX and prior to P3D v4 days that the norm was we would have to quit out of the sim before loading up a new aircraft or airport scenery, changing time of day, etc. Does this still apply to P3D v4.1 and beyond?

I have not used VSync much since I moved from FSX to P3Dv2 because I've never observed so-called tearing effects. But now since I updated from P3Dv 4.0 to v4.1 (client and content) I have strong tearing effects when in spot-view. Unfortunately, also Win 10 (Fall Creator) and video driver have been updated so I cannot say what really happened. I am not complaining, as I get a decent running P3D with VSync on. But I would like to understand why suddenly VSync became necessary on my set-up.

Haven't had P3Dv4 for very long, but whenever an AI aircraft takes off, it leaves a blue trail behind it. I have no addon Ai, Scenery or Weather as yet. Only payware aircraft are PMDG 737NGX and A2A C182. Have posted this problem on the LM P3D forum, but have as yet, had no answers. Anyone with a possible answer !. So, I installed the A320 on P3D v4.1 and all of a sudden the sim is lagging every few seconds. Basically unflyable. This is regardless of which aircraft I am using and how much I fiddle with the graphics settings. Before I installed FSLabs, the sim was really smooth. I've uninstalled the bus and the spotlights, but the problem persists. Any one else noticed something similar?

I was wondering if anyone has experanced the overly bright interstate lights in V4 and if so is this normal or is there a way to fix this. I run Orbx NA, LC and Vector. I also use PTA and Envtex which due not seem to be the cause of this. https://prntscr.com/gyaji0

Hello I switch from my old computer to my new one and try to redownload chaseplane and its say that I reach max number of computer i saw there faq and still send them mail have more things to do ?

Keven- First tried using P3D v3 this morning and received the error as CP closed itself "P3D version 3.4 not yet supported...we are working on it" Turned off experimental updates and got the same message. Then tried P3D v4 with experimental updates still off. Same message but for P3D v4.1. Turned on experimental updates and still the same message. I understand updates but it would be nice if at least one version is usable.

I tried to reinstall the RealAir turbineduke v2 for p3 and got a message to say that the installation cannot continue to due to too many installs. I have emailed [email protected] but so far I have not had a reply but I need to reset my keycode. I know that the company has folded but I thought the support would still be available? can someone please help as this is one of my favourite planes.

Hi there, ive been reading online and people said if you have the academic version then g sync won't work because of the watermark in the top corner. is this the case or any ideas ive tried g sync and I've still gotten stutters so just trying to figure it out.

For some reason I do not get the Frame Rate Counter in P3D v4. I press shift +Z as usual but nothing happens. Most strange and would appreciate any guidance please. Michael
