It's coming at some point and I ask because, for example, when I use the QW757 which was installed initially in FSX, then reinstalled via EMT into P3DV2, I learned that if I don't keep EMT in Virtual FSX mode, my avionics in the QW757 will not display even when engines are running in P3D V2 scenario. This of course suggests some 'entanglement' is happening so that if I uninstall FSX I may have troubles? What do we know? Thanks in advance, Noel

Hi all, Has anyone been able to get Trackir going in P3d v2? I tried, but trying to run, all it done was jerk around to different screens. Any ideas? I have heard others say it worked fine for them? Thanks, Larry

I have some weather themes from Orbx and Opus and I love them. I just pick one of the themes and I am a happy camper. I need more of these themes particularly with these new fogs in P3Dv2... and I would love to have them even as a payware. In the meanwhile, would someone please post the weather settings by layers for low fog over KSFO? or KJFK? I'd appreciate it very much. Manny

I have figured out how to type in the frequency for NAV1, but i can't find a button to accept input. EDIT: Problem solved. It's the MRK button if anyone else wonders.

Hi all, I just got TrackIR going and it's running great. I am also getting P3d running better in other ways. Unlike FSX, I can fly as soon as it installs my saved loaded scenery & aircraft type. What a joy to be able to do that. I saved the same way in FSX, it did save it with gauges as I arranged them on each monitor, but they all loaded on the main monitor and then I had to drag them again to the proper monitor and resize them to fit. With P3d, now I don't have to do that! It loads the correct way, each time!! If I can run like this now, I can't imagine how good it will run with the patch installed. I recently installed ORBX Australia, and ever since then, my landclass all around the World is messed up. I have tried different lclookup files with no help. I have alo tried several reinstalls. Nothing is working. Anybody have an idea? Over YBBN And lastly Default KSEA...which took over 5 minutes to load, and had horrible fps

Hello fellas. I've managed to tune my UTX with new ORBX Global according to this thread: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/419199-no-vector-road-lights-with-utx/ very nicely. Example I went further and customized these lights, according to mercury vapor color in USA, Canada and Europe, also I made em brighter and a bit larger, so now they are much more visible from distance. Hi, I just jumped to Prepar3d a week ago after getting a new PC and I`m not coming back to FSX. I use the migration tool and almost every scenery or add-on have worked so far. Had no problem installing other VFR sceneries but Horizon generation X is driving me mad. I`ve tried everything but when I fly over it i just get the photo textures in a small radio under my plane, the rest are the original prepar3d textures. Seems a problem of layers to me but I´ve tried to move it up and down with no luck. I´ve attached a screenshot to show where the problem is. Ah, I used the migration tool to install it and it appears in the scenery library like the others scene…

I've got a weird issue where P3D v2 loads up a flight and the rudder is stuck to one direction.. usually the left.. I know its not the controls.. as i've removed the pedals from the computer and the issue still persists.. It doesnt matter if its a default p3d v2.0 aircraft or otherwise. Anyone else ran into this one? Thanks

Hello all, as kevinc5 mentioned a while back, ifFly 737 is 54.99 for FSX and 79.99 for their P3D v2. It also clearly states :"does not include any additional features compared to the FSX entertainment version.". Will this set a precedent for developers to take advantage of a (supposedly) superior flight sim and thus, pricing their products as if those also become superior products? Where is the rationale for this pricing? Unless it is a LM license issue that costs developers more, I would really like to know why and if this is what to expect going forward.

I bought FTX Global and love the enhancement. I would be interested in hearing from users if the FTX Vector software worthwhile to add for enhanced scenery. Thanks. Rob

Can anyone share how they got the RAT Duke to install? Did you use the Estonia Migrator? It was one of my favourite aircraft and am keen to get it working in P3D. To date I have only used default aircraft while testing.

Hi Guys, im in some " serious " trouble, im proud owner of P3D v2 since yesterday but the first thing was:,, wow my Displays are blurred ! " Any other is absolutly perfect but in every Standard or Add On Plane my displays are with Wide View Aspect kind of blurred and washed out maybe milky. i made some Screens please look at it. I keep reading posts in the PMDG page about how great this Prepar3d is, like it's the second coming of the personal sim world. I've also looked at a few youtube clips and comparisons and I don't really get what the fuss is about. I generally can't stand photoreal scenery, and that's the only real difference I notice. And according to the website, it's not even intended for personal use. I know FSX has it's many flaws and aggravations, but I need more evidence on why I would want to pitch it, so I figured i'll mine this forum for info. I may get flamed, but if there's any valuable information in said flaming i'll take it into account. Please help.

I have this aircraft in my hanger and it is a great small biz jet. It is very fast and it climbs like a bandit. Handles very nice and nimble. This aircraft is P3D compatible. Does anyone else have this aircraft? It is from Lionheart creations.

G'day guys, I have been having some trouble with ORBX payware airports, specially Melbourne, Brisbane... Every time I fly into the scenery (in other words, only in the landing), all the buildings are in "skeleton" and the runway as well as the airport's taxiway, remains with default texture but even worse, without any markings. I am not using any other texture-affecting addon such as REX or anything else, just ORBX and FTX terrain. It always worked as fine as it could be, but from a couple of weeks from now it happened quite often. Any ideas of what is happening? My specs are: i7-3600k 3.4GHz RAM 8GB System 64 bits Video Card Nvidia GTX560

hi guys just purchased ftx clobal and scenery its not being loaded its still flyes with ftx scenery although ftx regions appeared one by one.....any idea here? for example i choose namerica select los angeles amd theris nothng besides fsx scenery there..... Luis

Hi everyone. Can somenone of you explain how to set properly the levels of scenerios and the priority to assign? I mean, if I wish to use FTX Global, FTX Vector, (very hard to undertand for me - i.e. what is AU, LC, LIBS....) Global 2010, and airports, and so on? What is the layers priority? I tried to upgrade from 332.21 to 334.67 beta. Launched P3D2: 4 errors in a row and 4ctd's. Great. So I disinstalled the new drivers and reinstalled the 332.21. And now my mouse doesn't work in VC. Any hints?

I have a problem with my P3D2 installation. I use the Saitek Yoke with a second throttle quadrant. Furthermore I use a racing wheel with pedals (pedals for the rudder and the racing wheel as trim wheel). I use the SPAD driver and the registered version of FSUIPC. I have so far not assigned the settings in FSUIPC since I only installed it over the weekend. I used the P3D build-in assignments but to no avail. I can assign the wheel brakes to a button on my yoke in the menu but to no avail. If I return to the dialog it shows that the breaks are assigned to the button but it does not break! Same applies to the differential breaks. Any idea how to solve this…

ok, I will try to explain what I would like to do. A long time ago I changed a setting in fsx to show the ai plane in the same view each time I clicked on them. When I click through the ai planes in prepar3d v2 the plane is always a 3/4 view from the front to the back (you know, the default view). What I would like to see is the view from the side each time without having to rotate for each plane. When I rotate it then it's only the view for that plane and when I click on another plane it's back to the default view. Now that STB is finally out, I am so happy to use it but it would be so much better if I didn't have to do the extra "work". I believe that it's something in …

Hello ! I have been tempted for some time to move on to P3D(V2) having read all the good things about it, and keeping in mind all future developments, which FSX cannot offer. I am a pilot (PPL) training for CPL/IFR and consequently feel I need the best training tools available. I have visited the Lockheed Martin website to enroll. They are asking to "register" before anything can be done, which I have now done TWICE, but have received nothing from them by way of confirmation, so I am stuck, it seems. I just can't buy it. Am I the only one ? Any ideas, please ? :wub:

just back after 1 month work, is there already a airplane with a p3dv2 installer. I don't think so. Looking for good quality. I believe Aerosoft ext airbus or Majestic q400 is working but without pr3dv3 installer? Thanks.
