Any ideas what is causing this? MS Sidewinder yoke Windows 7 FSUIPC4 Elevator is either ON or OFF In X plane works fine. Deleted CFG file and still the same.

How do you get it to? It always goes back to 90 with any change. I'll manually edited the config to 60 but no go. Thanks, Mark

I have to say I'm getting a little tired of all the testing and tweaking I've been doing over the past three days to try and get P3Dv2 to actually work as well as FSX. I have accepted that I can't use cloud shadows, as the impact makes the sim unflyable. I have everything set at medium, with very conservative settings throughout and have followed all the guidelines from guys on the forum. The biggest headache I have is that no matter what settings I try, the texture/ground blurries are worse than I get in FSX. I am starting to wonder whether there could be some other intrinsic issue elsewhere in my setup. Could it be my 4.6 overclock may have an effect? or the memory sett…

Hi folks... I have all kinds of issues with opus cameras and can't use ezdok. ....so Ooooohhhhhh is there a way to adjust the eyepoint in the vc and keep it there as the default view so when the sim starts I don't need to adjust it using the standard keys? Thanks guys doug

I am having almost constant video crashes lately with Prepar3D 2.2 on Windows 8.1/64bit. At first I thought it might be EZCA related so I switched to OpusFSX cameras and still have video crashes. I'm using the latest AMD beta drivers for Win 8.1/64 but have been experimenting with older drivers with the same results. When I’m in the sim however it runs extremely well – it seems the crashes come from view changes. My specs are below. If I’m in the wrong place here I apologize in advance. Thanks. The dichotomy between VFR and Orbx autogen ... I have always fallen on VFR since I consider myself a 'pilot in training' and need the real world VFR cues to able to navigate in the UK effectively. I,ve just had to do another reinstall, and the process of staring at the screen to install 6 lots of GEX, 5 lots of UTX and a whopping 32+ discs of VFR, treescapes and UK airfields just gave me the shivers. Has anyone managed to record video using Nvidia's ShAdowplay application?

Has anyone got FSUIPC running in v2.2 configured to SLI using AFR-FriendlyD3D.exe to start the sim? I have tried but FSUIPC shows Not Registered. If I go back to Prepr3D.exe then FSUIPC is showing as registered. This is a particular problem with aircraft like the Black Box Airbus which need FSUIPC. I have asked Pete but have not found the answer yet? Mac EDIT: OK I have an answer from Pete. Make sure you are running FSUIPC v 4.931. Has anyone managed to record P3D using Nvidia's Shadowplay application?

I can't seem to be able to use the In simulator option to connect to Vatsim via SB4. If I use the tab button to display menu options at the top of my screen SB4 shows as it should in the "Add-On's" menu option. However selecting it does nothing, in fact selecting it causes the Squakbox option to disappear from the menu option altogether. The only way I have been able to connect to Vatsim via SB4 is to do so from my desktop which basically forces me to fly in windowed mode within the Sim. Has anyone else experienced this? I can't wait for new client software to become available, it's long overdue. (BTW I'm using P32v2.2 w/flt planner hotfix applied) Thanks

Hello guys, my prepar3d works like a charm "offline", max details and high framerate, but when i go online on ivao after i encounter some traffic, even on ground while i fly over the airport at cruising altitude, the simulator starts to drop fps like hell until it goes to 15-20 and starts rubberbanding. Any thoughts? Thank you very much!

When I save a situation with the feelThere Phenom, the loading up of P3DV22 stops and says it cannot find the aircraft and will load the default Is there a way to change the default? Is there a way to load the situation with a fellthere there? I checked the simobjects list in the roaming subfolder and its there allright

Hi everybody! I reproaching this question in comparison to last time. I got FTS Global sometime early to mid April. I must say, really impressed by the amount of autogen drawn, and how everything follows patterns and there are more trees, and even individual light orbs! But I quickly realized I was encountering an issue when I started to see the scenery. My FPS dropped from my average 20-25, all the way to somewhere around 12 or lower. For me... this soon got unbearable. This is where my two part question comes in (or three parts, depending on how you look at it): 1.) Could I have installed incorrectly? I was doing the usual messing about looking for the most "effective" settings in P3DV2.2. One thing that needed changed was the dark water in lakes. So I went to REX Essentials Overdrive HD (lovely title). Fiddled with the the water textures. Most of the time a change in REX had no effect. Then the water changed and was acceptable. One thing I did was a restore in REX to get an older texture config. So, happy with the change I flew around Florida (lots of lakes) and all was well. Now back to ORBX PNW region which I had disabled along with ORBXLIBS file. I went to KHQM Bowerman but never looked at the Scenery.CFG since I wanted to see what the water looked liked witho…

I was kind disappointed when I updated to V2.2. It seemed to run worst than V2.1 with Obrx PNW over Seattle metro area. I even experienced stutters and single digit FPS at lower AGL. Lowering the setting did make P3d run better but the problem is still there. I even upgrade my GPU from GF 650Ti to GTX 770 with no avail. When the bad things happened, either the CPU maxed out or both CPU and GPU were not doing much. GPU never got maxed out. Finally I decided to switch off PNW and what a day and night difference. Even with almost all the scenery settings fully to the right, terrain and cloud shadows at 20 km, and 25% air and sea traffic, P3d runs like a dream. The surprising…

I'm guessing this is impossible, but is there any way to port over the Microsoft Flight Icon A5 into Prepar3d or FSX? It's such a nice model, and it would be nice to be able to fly it outside of Hawaii.

hello all. I am posting this message in desperation. Since day one with prepar3d (any version) when I select any menu item, the program will hang for 25 seconds and then the menu will open. If I task switch away from prepar3d I get the same thing, and see a program not responding message in the title bar of prepar3d. I simply put up with it. Last week I started using the prepar3d start menu system. to select a flight and aircraft etc, and... lo and behold no more lags or non responsive programs! I could not imagine what caused it to work better. Unfortunately, now a week later things are back to the same old,same old. prepar3d lags 25 seconds when selecting any menu item…

I am looking for at least one plane in each flight category. Light to heavy, freeware or not to expensive payware, but mostly freeware. Thank you

My impression is that this product is the best product in its category and better than Ultimate Terrain X and GEX, correct? But I have bought and use the DX10 fixer. And in the FTX Global product description it says that 'FTX Global is not DX10 compatible ... A third party tool is required to modify the shaders to make the 3D lights work.' Does this mean that there is an application that makes FTX Global fully compatible with DX10? If so what is that tool?

Hello I am looking for a good quality payware GA aircraft for P3Dv2.2 with avionics utilizing updateable navigational data. I have pre-ordered the Milviz KingAir 350i but growing increasingly impatient with the long wait until release. Is there anything currently out there? I am flying the RealAir Duke/Legacy with that stock GPS/outdated P3D navdata and I am not satisfied at all!! Any recommendations would be very much appreciated!
