The contrast or brightness on the GNS530 is too bright. If you look at the 2 pictures I have posted you will see a very distinct difference between Carenados C210 and their C337. As a test I swapped the C337 GPS for the C210’s GPS gauge but it’s still the same so it looks like something the guys at Carenado will have to do to correct this. C337 C210 flya150

Small things, but will make a very nice plane even better.. 1. On the RXP GNS530, the upper left knob has a "V" on it, should be a "C" 2. The airspeed indicator bezel cuts off the first digit at 140, 160 etc 3. At night, the AP Mode Selector is totally dark - you need to remember which button is which.. some lighting here would help

Regarding engine start.In the checklist it says that the aux fuel pump goes to HI and then you should advance the throttles to read a certain fuel flow (around 60 lbs/hr), then retard the throttles, fuel pump off and then start the engine.This works nicely, but only the front fuel flow meter works so far when advancing the throttles (with engines off and fuel pump to HI). Am I doing something wrong maybe?And, as a tip, when would I use the Fuel Pumps again in flight? High altitudes? High performance takeoff? Setting them on low or hi then?What do the experts say? Fired up the 337 for the final leg into McCall ID and received a notice that my landing gear may be damaged. Looked all over the place for a repair shop but they were all closed for church or something. Up we go; after all it said "might" be damaged". Approaching McCall and setting up for landing. Gear would not go down and lock. In fact there was not indication of any move to do so. Stuck my head out to window. Nope, no landing gear out. Well greased it in on the grall along side the runway. took out two props and pulled a great seal of paint off the bottom. We will sit here until Tuesday I guess.Have not found anything in the manuals about landing gear repairs.If some…

Released September 7 2011, 1700 GMT Modifications: - Low RPM sound loop issue was solved.- Clickable area of the GPS was extended (now covering the entire screen).- Differential braking scale was adjusted.- Correction to the brakes map for braking with left or right wheel independent.- Door´s screw remained static and didn’t move with the door. Nice plane indeed and very unique.A small question for you other drivers. Is the OAT reading correct at you end? I get some -20 degrees C readings on the windscreen instrument while the weather actually is +10C.
