Hi Guys, Not sure if this has been brought up here, but I notice that the two red air intake covers have been added to low down to the intakes and need raising up abit. Could any one tell me where the setting for these might be so I can have a try and re-set these? or are these mapped into the aircraft? OFF FITTED

Hello guys, I just bought this beauty after reading wonderful things about it. It is indeed a spectacular aircraft and already one of my favorites, together with the RealAir Turbine Duke. I'm having a tiny problem which is certainly going to cause me a facepalm once I sort it out. The thing is, I can't seem to find where the NAV1 radio is. I've been using the NAV2, which is the right Collins radio. Here's a picture of the cockpit. I'm still learning my way around the cockpit and the lack of a user guide doesn't help. Thanks for the help!

Hi All, I bought the Reality XP 530 and installed it into my Carenado 337. The GPS does not seem to work on it. I think the VLOC does but no GPS. I have checked through the Forums but nothing specific to this issue. Running FSX on Win7 64 bit. I have setup a Direct to leg, the Magenta line is shown and gps shown when CDI is activated. Just fails to follow it and tends to stray away from line. Once I thought I had it right by activating the GPS when I intercepted the line, it swang back but continued on and went off course. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks in advanced. Brett. Note, I noticed the 530 there is a button down the botton says GPS working in Flig…

I've made a small change to the night texture so the compass shows and one of the cut-off gauge needles is restored. If you'd like a copy, send me a PM with your email address - and reference this topic.

Bert, Thanks for your previous help. New questions: 1. Cannot find Trim and Flaps gauges that tell me the extent of my trim, or the level of flaps set. Do these exist? 2. How is the Vertical speed set? Is this done just using the trim wheel? 3. Where is the parking brake? Or is it set by the default Ctrl+. only ? Thanks, Stanner PS Do you have any experience with the REALTY XP GNS 530 gps instrument? Is it worth buying?

Gentlemen, Just installed the 337. Suprised at the lack of documentation. I have a problem setting the Heading, Squawk, engine on/off switch. I get the hand symbol but NO PLUS SIGN inside the hand. The knobs will not turn! I noted that in order to set the vor (ILS) and COMM frequencies in the GPS quadrant I need to enlarge the GPS (Shift+1) is this correct? Without enlarging the GPS quadrant I cannot set the vor etc. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the sim but still have a problem with setting the HDG etc. Is there anything that needs to be done (such as with the GPS), to be able to make these knobs operative? Thanks. Stanner

Hi: Just bought the reality xp GNS530 package and installed it into the 337 using the carenado rxp install utility. Everything works good except the gslope flag on the hsi stays up all the time and when I switch to vloc when it said to both the gslope and loc flags pop up thus not allowing me to use the hsi.. Any ideas.... I am fairly new with the gns530 package so if I have to edit a ini or cfg file please tell me where it is... Also installed it into the carenado 210 and it worked perfectly... uninstalled and reinstalled it back into the 337 and same thing happens... any help will be appreciated. Thanks Al

Hi all... Just got round to trying some repaints for the C337... But I'm hitting a puzzling thing: I have created textures in Photoshop, Added the Alpha Channel as it is when opened in DXTBmp, then saved the textures as DDS using the Nvidia plugin. They work almost flawlessly... But I don't see any of those awesome glossy reflections on the surface... Just a flat texture with bump mapping and no gloss. I tried using DXTBmp to save as an extended bmp but was not happy with the result... The conversion seems to degrade the final result a lot, but even with that I still didn't get any gloss... How do I get my freshly waxed at the paint shop finish back? …

I continue to familiarize myself with this airplane and I am very impressed but there are a few VERY minor issues I would like to mention and see if anyone else has noticed: 1) The red beacon light is very weak and the flashes appear to actually be coming from behind the light and it is not illuminated when viewed from the front of the airplane 2) The NAV1/NAV2 annunciator light will not extinguish 3) The landing light and taxi light seem to pulsate as if in sequence with the strobes

Hi everyone, I just bought the 337 and I'm really enjoying it even though it does have some bugs, which brings me to my question. I use this plane and the 210 in Air Hauler, when I started a new company and bought both of these planes I noticed a funny thing. Air Hauler is showing that the 210 has more useful load than the 337. So I opened up the CFG file for the 337 and its only showing 3450 for max gross where the 210 shows 3800. Thats not right is it? I went online and checked some places, Wikipedia says that the max Takeoff weight for the 337 should be 4400 pounds which sounds far more reasonable. I saved a backup of the cfg file and did a little editing, raisin…

I downloaded and installed the C337 in FSX but the only aircraft choice is a bare white exterior texture (beautifully drawn by the way but still not too colorful). Should there be standard paints available or do I need to download repaints?

I L-O-V-E the C337 and its panel (and how Carenado made the gauged 3D by including them in the model) but I'm curious if its possible to add a gauge? I just wanted to add one simple digital fuel burn gauge to the very right-hand side of the panel, where there is an available spot.

It can be a nuisance to reach down to the bottom of the panel to adjustthe Pitch on the autopilot.. so I've been looking for a spot where I could puta "remote" UP/DOWN wheel.Best I've been able to find is the left side of the ADF radio, to the left of thedisplay read-out. That is conveniently close to the autopilot, but kind of small..As I said, best I've been able to find. If you can locate a better spot - that works, please post! Here is a little xml gauge "PC1.xml" that will do the trick - mouse wheel only!I positioned it in the panel.cfg right below my AutopilotHelper gauge, but you could put it in a popup window:[Vcockpit01]......gauge04=RadioC337!RadioAdf, 0,294,30…

I was just looking at some screenshots for the C90 King Air and was amazed at the lighting effects and was curious if it would be possible to apply this the the C337 retroactively. Any ideas?

Hello All ---- I have been running several versions of the 337 since its release, and have a stock model as well as some turbocharged versions. Today, I reinstalled my turbo models and came to find out that when I turn the turbocharging on in the aircraft.cfg file, the model will not function and is out of control spinning in circles ---- ???? Turn the turbocharging off, and all is fine again. WHAT GIVES? What has happened to the stock model to cause this? Anybody else seeing this? I have both service packs installed as well. HELP!!!! Thanks ---- Bob

Hi! I'm using the Reality XP gauge in the beautiful Carenado C337. I used the exe that came with the Carenado to set up the RXP GNS. So far, everything works flawlessly. But for some reason, I am not able to use the mouse wheel for turning the knobs on the RXP GNS, neither in the VC, nor on the 2D popup. Using the left and right mouse button all the time can be a little annoying. In Carenado's Malibu, it works like a charm. What do I have to change to get mouse wheel support? Thanks in advance, Michael

Hi all,I can't find this topic anywhere so though I would start a new thread.I am experiencing a loss of power on the climb. The altitude has varied but it is usually around the 5 to 6 thousand feet mark when the power just starts dropping off to zero. The EGT drops to zero as does the power and fuel flow levels. The engines are still running but I can do nothing to restore the situation other than decend (I am forced to do so as the aircraft is by now dropping in altitude anyway due to the loss of power) to around 4 and a half thousand feet where everything comes back to normal again by itself!! Try to bust the 5-6k mark again and the same happens.I have tried all c…
