C337 Skymaster HD SERIES for FSX | P3D

Hiya guys. :) I've been holding off asking this for awhile now but it has finally annoyed me enough to ask. I searched here but don't see it mentioned by anyone else. How do you turn off the wing ice detection light? It will go off with the global light key (L) but it never goes off with the switch labeled for it. I can't find any way to just turn that light itself off without using the L key to turn every light off.. Thanks!

Hello, I have installed the Reality XP GNS 530 in my C337, It shows up in the mein panel at the correct place. When I am moving with the mouse over the knobs, I even see a colored arrow. But none of the knobs and buttons is reacting to any mouse command. What could be the failure? With the standard GPS, I didn't had any problems. Kind regards Arndt

Hi,I also have problem with the Oovee sounds. When i start the rear engine, i can't hear it and when i start the front engine i can hear it but the sound is very very weak.. I have to turn up the volume at maximum. I've sent a support ticket on the 26th ( evening) but still no reply from them. Could somebody help me to resolve this problem. Thanks and best regards.

Hi folks,Bit of a strange one here. I have been flying and enjoying the 337 virtually every day and in the last 24 hours a rather interesting and annoying bug has shown itself.The rear engine fuel flow gauge does not register any movement in cold/dark mode when I energize the HP pumps for pre start and advance throttles to 60. The front reacts as expected.When I crank the rear engine it fires up and gauge displays as normal. Aside from the radio/NAV not tuning in sync and other outstanding common issues the plane flies just fine.Any ideas? I have added/removed nothing from FSX in ages that I can remember. I load the default motor kite and load the 337 over the top.CheersT…

I just purchased the 377 yesterday, and it looks like a quality addon. I have a major problem though with stuttering that I don't have with my other addons (NGX, Duke, J41). My frame rates are pretty good averaging around 40-50 in the VC, but at times it will suddenly drop to 8 for no reason. I'm thinking it's one of the guages, perhaps the cylinder head/egt meter. I just thought I'd post and see if anyone else has experienced this. Thanks for any replies or possible solutions.

Hey guys, I recently bought the C337 and the C-172N but I have a couple of problems with them..I've attached a few pictures that I took of the cockpit / outside of the aircraft where the lines and things on the actual plane are kind of distorted ruining the whole feel of the airplane. I've tried messing around with my AA settings, but they're already at the max with a GTX 460. The Realair Duke Turbine that I have doesn't show any kind of distortion inside or outside, so I'm not sure what could be the problem.Any and all help you guys can offer would be extremely helpful! I have re-installed this aircraft and cant seem to remedy this. When I go to use the Rear Hi Aux Pump to prime the rear engine the pump noise doesnt play nor does the FF show any reading. Front works fine?

Dear all, Apart the fact that the aircraft has a very realistic behavior, I was deeply disappointed with the level of realism from the avionics proposed (except the GNS 430 which can be replaced by the reality-XP one). I see in other threads that there has been an update released? I see no such update on the Carenado web page. I registered on their site but since I purchased the aircraft from Simmarket and not Carenado "my products" page is empty and I see no way to register it with them?

Hi just got this aircraft and was wondering when u enter the freq for the adf for a airport etc is there a switch u need to select somewhere to make the pointer to move. Since when i entered the freq for the airport i was going to i was 5 nm away and didnt see any deflection on any of the adf needlesNever mind just worked it out must be late in the night lol

First of all, let me just say that I'm loving this plane. It's as close to being as right as I've seen in my short simming experience, and is subjectively closer to reality than the other three Carenado planes I've purchased (C210, V35B, A36) which I guess is why I find the little things that I've forgiven in the others to be frustrating here. My list:As others have pointed out, the engine start procedure is broken. Nothing happens when you engage the fuel pump for the rear engine to prime - no sound, no fuel flow indication; nothing. After landing, several times both of the engines stopped running even before the plane came to a full stop...I didn't shut them down.Someone any idea what happened?GrzPaul

I don't know if this has been covered but I tell it anyway. When climbing or decenting on AP, HDG or NAV, they turn off when activating Alt Hold. I assigned ALT HLD to a button on my throttle handle. All I do now is pressing that button and the AP will activate ALT HLD without turning off anyting else. That goes for the joystick button only, so if I press it in the VC, HDG or NAV will still turn off.Hope it helps for some of you.

I read in the C337 review about a xml fix by Bert Pieke for the autopilot but can't seem to find the fix here on your site. Would someone be kind enough to point this old dummy to it? I have tried a search and come up empty, must be doing something wrong.

After seeing a real one close up this weekend, I'm thinking of picking up the Carenado Skymaster but have reservations, as my computer setup is not exactly state of the art. The only other Carenado airplane that I have is the Saratoga and can run that one fine. I know that the C337 is in HD, but is it hard hitting on the frames? Also, can it be run in non-HD as an option, if it is? (I think the Cessna 210 came with that option, if not mistaken.)Thanks for your help!

I just bought for my fsx accelerator the c337but without using control E, I cannot start the c337by using the start buttons for the 2 engines only the props are rotating.I used the switches in the overhead and use the throttles but no luckanyone an idea whats incomplete from my side?

Does anybody know something about copyright in relation to aircraft manuals ??If I know somebody having (for instance) a Cessna 337H and with his permission I made a photocopy of this manaul and created a PDF-file.In this situation I guess I would not violate copyright by uploading the manual to my website so other flightsimmers could download it ??There are companies that buys manuals from pilots - make a copy - and sell the pdf-files on-line.
