C337 Skymaster HD SERIES for FSX | P3D

Hi. Just got my 337. A real joy to fly, Carenado is king of GA aircraft. I read the manual that service ceiling is 17000+ feet. I find it very hard just to get above 10000 feet 150-200 kilos below MTOW. I tried also in cold conditions but 17000 feet seems impossible. My first thought is that it don't have turbo and therefore it will be difficult. I don't want to alter the CFG because i think the AC is pretty close to real when speaking of power-to-weight calculations.

Does anyone know where the pitot tube(s) are located on this airplane? I cannot find them anywhere ...

I have taken several multi hour flights but the fuel guages stay on full. Does anyone know how to correct this?

Any word on the update for the 337? There are a few issues for example, the fuel pump for the rear engine is mapped to the low aux pump switch of the front engine and opening the main door also opens the baggage door. Would it also be possible the split the animation of the door so that shift+e+1 opens the top half, shift+e+2 opens the bottom and shift+e+3 opens the baggage door?

Something I was playing with. It is not finished.And of course it is not the right model. If Carenado would do a O-2A that would be fantastic. Wishful thinking on my part. Russ

I've seen many posts about small niggles, but the important question is - How does it fly? It was my understanding having read a comment from 'bstoll' a little while back that the C337 was to be the first Carenado aircraft with an accurate flight model straight out of the box. That is a significant step forward for Carenado (if indeed a correct statement), yet Cartenado have not made much about it, nor has anyone commented. Eric

Hi everyone, have an odd issue with the newly purchase/installed C337... see attached pic... front wheel as well as pilot(s) are missing and lights also seem not to work properly... have tried all sorts of things including disabling EMB, SHADE etc. Any idea where this could come from? Any help is much appreciated! Funny thing is, the shadow usually shows the front wheel (not in this shot as wrong angle)...

Hi guys,I´ve just got the C337 and took her for a spin arround Boonah. Really impressive. Flew the C206, one of Carenado´s first FSX plane before. An enormouse gap between the C206 and the C337.But on my test flight I noticed two things: 1. The elevator is very effective and sometimes a bit too sensitive (mostly in turns and takeoff). Is this effectiveness like RW?Can this be turned down a bit?2. I´ve noticed that only little to no rudder is needed for turns. Is this RW behaviour? But overall very positive, the frames are just perfect and everything is darn sharp.

I have many Carenado aircraft, great stuff but never had a problem lifting any of them of the ground the skymaster will not takeoff easily it just goes up a little bit and then falls to the ground again flaps - trim nothing helps any help would be appreciated, thank you. Rich

My second Repaint of the 337. This Aircraft is since 2002 after a little crash-landing, stranded in east Europe.

I don't know; is my graphics card going south. Maybe not enough ? Any suggestons would be appreciated. Only the Carenado 337 is doing this.

Greetins all! I purchased the 337 over the weekend (17th of Sep) so I'm assuming it has the latest patch already? Two issues crop up for me. I'll start FS, go to my local airport, load up the Bonaza (Stock bird), get her going from cold and dark, with no issues. From there, I'll shut the bird down, and load up the 337. Two things won't work for me...one, no Becon light? I don't have any special lights installed, and the becon on the bonanza work fine. 2. She wont start? Fuel, check.....fuel levers, check....prime her up, check....turn the knob....nada. Now, If I load the bonanza back up, start her, lights, etc then go to the 337, it's running with the appropriate …

For some reason I only the left side of the instrument is illuminited it's as if each instrument t is missing bulb or something like this.Any idea ?????ThxYair

Anyone figured out how to get the Flightline N or T gauges into the C337? Carenado went and changed the panel.cfg format. I added them to the V35 and C-208 but stumped on this one. I can probably live without the gauges but I'd really like to get my GF-166 radio units to work. Typically these units work great without any programming with just about any aircraft payware or not but they're not working either? Appreciate any help in advance.

The Nav and Strobe lights seem very weak, to me. How can I increase their intensity. Carm.

It may be right in front of me, but I cannot find a link to it. 1. I looked on the Carenado download support page. I did not see it there.2. I searched the C337 forum page and could not find a link. Questions: Is this not an official Carenado support download? If so, why is it not on their support download page? Does this Service Pack replace the entire aircraft.cfg file, or just make tweaks to it? Sorry for my confusion. Any help appreciated.

..... I really like this Bird, however, about 15-20 into the flight I get a "Fatal Error" and , boom FSX is crashing.This is happening only with the Skymaster . Please help Tnx Yair
