C337 Skymaster HD SERIES for FSX | P3D

After 2 updates now it would appear that Carenado isn't going to fix the miscolored fuel pump switch colors that got transposed in the v2 update anytime soon. I was wondering if any of you with knowledge of the deep inner workings of FSX/P3D know if it's possible to edit a file to change the switch colors back to the way they should be?

Just installed the C337 V2.1 from Carenado into P3DV4. Install worked fine. However, in level flight with controls centered the plane goes into a slight left bank. To get the plane to fly a straight heading one has to put the plane into a slight right bank. Considering this plane is a pull-push engine configuration there should not be much if any P-factor effect. Any others experienced this effect? Danny

Hello. I'm making a repaint for the C337 and I would like to know how to make the propeller cone shiny and reflective. As you can see below, in my repaint, I can't make it as the default one. Should I use DDS textures or BMP? Thank you.

Hi all. I installed the C337 v2 (uninstalled v1 first) and I understand there are issues with this latest update but the taxi/landing and the collision lights when shining on the ground are all square. All external lights have a square shin on the ground. Is anyone else experiencing this? Think I'll just revert back to v1 till Carenado fix all the issues. Terrible effort in updating this aircraft.

I was excited to see a V2 of the C337H but now I am disappointed. I found many issues with it in the first few minutes. 1) Nav and landing lights have colored boxes around them as you pan around the AC. Not the black box of a missing texture but the actual color of the light. 2) GPS 530 has no click areas for pop up, you have to hit Shift+1 3) The Engine Set Up window (Shift + 5) can't be closed hitting the X in the upper left corner. 4) They decided to go with model-based lighting which excludes those who use Shockwave lights. Carenado's lights aren't particularly realistic but at least I could replace them in previous version. The beacon looks like a…

Anyone else get the square around the green nav and the black against the white rear light? Nothing on the read port though. Spoke too soon, now shows block on the red as well

I want to show a small gauge file for the C337 which adjusts some default settings to my preferred value (see comments in the code, this part is inspired by a similar script Bert Pieke wrote for a different Carenado plane) and sets the fuel selector switches to the values that are stored in the saved flight. Without this, the fuel selector switches would always point to the red area (cut off), even if a different setting is active. The section "set spoilers only once" is only needed if you use the C337 Flooding fix posted in this forum. You have to remove it if you do not use the fix. OK, on to the next minor problem. Still loving the plane, but also still trying to sort out a few glitches.I have the Reality XP GNS 530 WAAS installed and configured and everything seemed to integrate well until the first time I flew a GPS/LPV approach in the 337. I've since tried several different approaches (locations that is), with the same results each time. All but one thing works - the GPS displays the LPV flag, the autopilot couples well in both axes and the HSI properly displays horizontal deflection, but I can never get it to display glideslope. Hi All, Can't believe I've just discovered the C337, came on it by accident after a less-than-impressed experience with the new Carenado 206, and have to agree its a really beautiful bird - great dynamics, immersive cockpit and friendly framerates to boot. I did see that there's a fix from Bert Pieke for the "Com" mislabel on the panel though, PM'd Bert to get it but perhaps he's not as active on the forums these days. When you toggle the GPS window the mouse wheel will only change the megahertz frequencies on the large knob, the small knob for the kilohertz frequencies does not respond to the mouse. You have to use the GPS mounted in the panel and you can then use the mouse wheel to change frequencies. Why is that? Also what are the two Collins Comm radios used for that are located below the panel mounted GPS? I only wish there was a proper manual from Carenado.

Since there have been various comments about this autopilot,here is a place to exchange information and discuss what works and what does not. To start it off, it would appear that switching ALT on or off will disconnect any lateral modelike HDG and NAV. The way to handle this is to reselect the lateral mode afterselecting the vertical mode.. not sure this is realistic, but it seems to work that way.

Just re-installed the C337H with the latest installer from fspilotshop and am having an issue with the comm radios. The frequencies are always 0.01 Mhz off. For example, if I try to tune 122.00 (ASN ATIS), what I get on the radios is 122.01. All frequencies I try to tune appear to be off by the same 0.01Mhz. Is this my install or a more common problem?

Can anyone tell me if the C337 HD will work in FSX-SE ? I have just did a new clean install and downloaded it from the same site as before when i installed it into the boxed version of FSX and it has always worked great. This is one of my favorite aircraft. I now find that everything seems to dowload ok and the install goes alright but i am not seeing all the different liveries. The only one that shows up is the gray unpainted model. FSX-SE is the only thing on this new SSD. I have unistalled it and reinstalled it a couple of times and nothing changes. Any ideas will be appreciated.

All, I am considering finally getting around to adding the C337 to my collection, and I see that an abundance of fixes and modifications have been issued privately by multiple individuals over the past couple years in this forum. Is there a complete list of what fixes need to be obtained and/or a primary link to said fixes? A quick skim reveals that someone is offering a GPS color correction fix, another addresses the fuel pumps, and more address things such as night lighting, as well as an issue with labeling on a navigation radio. Hi, guys. After a long period of dealing softly with Flight Sims, I have finally entered the FSX game since two years now, with a lot of satisfaction. I have started studying charts, GPSs, flying procedures and I find that everything is so beautiful. I have no power to my Nav GPS radios. Yes, the circuit breaker is on.I do have power to the Comm radios. SeeJay.

I thought I had this info from long ago but now cannot find it. The 337 does not respond to my wheel at all..all settings (altimeter, hdg, etc.) all use left click and drag which I particularly dislike. Can someone show me how to change this. Either Left Click for one direction/Right Click for the other OR the mouse wheel for either direction. Thanks for any help. Neal H
