PMDG 737NGX | 737NGXu

I have updated the MagDec.bgl in FSX, following the install instructions to the T but for the life of me I cannot get the magenta approach path to line up with the extended runway centerlines on the ND. I've fixed this problem before by using the newest MagDec but it just doesn't work anymore. Anyone else experience this?

Hi, I accidentally minimized my FS windows so textures of cockpit and everything are not more useable. Is my flight over now or can I solve that problem without disconnecting from vatsim? //:: that happened yesterday so flight was already closed but for some a reason was not able to send that yesterday.

Hi Guys, I have a problem that has just occurred with the cockpit screens in my NGX. While the outline graphics are displayed, their are no digits in my cockpit screen displays. Also the numbers in the metering panel in the overhead seem slightly larger than normal. Everything else seems ok. The only change to the setup I've made was to install the REX auto updater. I have submitted a ticket with PMDG but so far their fix has not worked. Anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance for any help. Steve

Hi, Whenever I load up the PMDG 737NGX, at the start it works great, but after you switch to say the flight plan page or another window within FSX, the textures ghost or turn black, tried to just press esc. twice, but hasn't worked, any ideas? Thanks.

I have two questions that have been bothering me about the 737ngx. 1. The first question is when I go to taxi if I give too much throttle I hear a warning going off. What is that warning? Sometimes it continues to go off until I am airborne. It occurs once I advance the throttle beyond a certain point. Its something I am missing in my cold dark startup as it does not occur when I use fs2crew and let the co-pilot do his thing. 2. Sometimes I start up the plane and when I go to fmc there is no slot to enter my current location in to initialize my position. It happens once in awhile and I am not sure what to do when it occurs because there is no spot for me to input …

Not important, but I always wondered why I had to move the nav light switch aft to activate the strobe. So I checked one of our 737-900's yesterday and the strobe light is actually in the fwd position, which makes sense that you move all switches fwd for take off. Just something I noticed. Doug Morlan

My 737 does not go faster than 196kts Not sure what the issue is.. I have had this problem for a while now. Any ideas what I am doing wrong? My MCP is set for 250kts and the a/T is on.. my throttle setting is to all the way. but it simply refuses to go faster than 196kts. The fuel is 52%

Sirs, I'm having a problem with the "Validation Menu" (Free Flight) when LEAVING through "End Flight". It ends up in the corner of the Screen (Monitor). Then when pressing Esc to exit It Crashes to desktop (CTD) with a Fatal Error message, Then a Restart Message. I have tried a lot of remedy's and nothing seems to clear the problem. Any Idea's would be great. Thank You.

Hoping someone can help with a new problem I'm having. Using TrackIR, as soon as I start taxiing in the NGX the camera starts shaking violently. Once I stop it remains still. Mind you this only happens if I'm using TrackIR. It also only happens if I install the 600/700. If I only have the 800/900, this shaking doesn't occur. Can anyone help me out?

Hey everyone! First time poster longtime lurker/NGX flyer. Not so much a technical question but mainly curious on the procedure of arming LNAV/VNAV prior to departure. When is it common practice to do so? Is this mainly an airline SOP, personal pilots preference, or a procedure that is dependent on the type of SID being flown? Me personally only arm the modes when flying a RNAV SID. Just curious on what other pilots on the forum do. Jeff Cowles

Hello, I have a big problem here. When I'm in the virtual cockpit of my PMDG 737, I can't click on anything. This problem occured yesterday and I have no idea about the reasons. In the 2D cockpit, everything is working fine. But back in the virtual cockpit, I can't click on any instruments, from the overhead panel to the MCP, nothing works. How can I fix that ? Best Regards

Hello! Installed 737-800 and 737-900 basic package. While parked the plane bounces, jumps. During the flight manifest white texture of the land underneath the plane! Everything is installed correctly and is registered! Simulator no problems. Other aircraft of all in order. What could be wrong? Thank you!

So far I haven't tried the failure modeling in the NGX but to bring the realism yet another step I'm thinking of introducing this to my simming. With my goal making it as real as possible when it comes to type and frequency of failures are there any good advice how to set things up?

Maybe the anwser is simple, but how do you know how far you should push your aircraft in the pushback menu? You can enter a distance, but how do you know what the right distance is at a particular airport?

LOVE this plane, and broke down today and bought the 600/700 expansion pack! Everything went fine, until I tried to fly the plane, and all manner of problems occurred, highly embarrassing to say the very least! You have to reinitialize the plane's setup to match your current start up settings for the 800/900. That much seemed pretty obvious. Then, if you use EZ/DOK, you need to export your camera settings from the 800/900, then import them while in the 600/700. That was kind of obvious. Less obvious, you must then re-run the EZDOK configuration tool while NOT in FSX (still not overwhelming). When the airplane starts misbehaving, I discovered the PMDG options.…

Hello, When I am flying with the pmdg 737ngx after departure the simulator get freez for few seconds and getting back to life but after 1-2 minutes it is doing it again... I didnt have it before.. There is a solution?. Guy

Hello, I've been having a problem with some repaint not wanting to initialize. Idk what it can be but one day they just stopped initiating. I've done everything short of uninstalling the NGX. What can this be?
