Hi, I use Active Skt 2012 and have turbulence and ground winds checked. I have never experienced turbulence in cruise, or crosswinds on landing or takeoff. I also have the FSUIPC weather turned off. Are there any settings I need to adjust to have this more realistic? Thanks Rob

Hi everyone, I am trying to calibrate my yoke in FSUIPC for the NGX. I am using the Saitek Cessna Yoke, which can turn 90 degrees from the middle to both sides. Now, in the NGX I noticed the yoke turns around 60 degrees, so in FSUIPC I calibrated my yoke so it sorta moves in sync with the one in FSX. After this, my plane became quite a bit sensitive to aileron inputs, even though my yoke moves in sync with the one in the NGX. If I look at real videos the airplane doesn't seem to respond THAT quickly to small inputs like in the NGX. So I'm wondering, is the maximum degrees of rotation from the middle also 60 degrees in the real world? The reason I'm not sure is because…

Greetings All - Last evening I was planning a flight from KBWI to KBUF as normal and ran across something I couldn't fix. For some reason, the Captain NAV displays showed correct navigation information on the CDUs. However, the F/O's displays showed the "generic" displays with no heading or navigational information (Speed, Heading, VS, etc). I honestly don't know what I did and what I could have done to correct the issue. Hello, While using a tool (FlusiFix') to find missing Gauges to find the reason why my PC is crashes (CTD) the following message appeared: [VCOCKPIT02] gauge01=hud!pmdg_737_ng , 0,0,1,1 //Missing gauge: pmdg_737_ng.xml (in the folder c:\fsx\simobjects\airplanes\pmdg 737-800ngx\panel\hud\) The XML file isn't there indeed but neither is it by other users a asked. Is this a faulty message? should the XML file be in that folder? Can this be the reason for my CTD (I believe its not but I would like to know) Best regards Eric

First of all, I know this is MY problem and not a fault with PMDG or Saitek but still... Using Saitek pro yoke and Saitek throttle. Registered version of FSUIPC. Everything works just fine except I can't get the reverse thrusters to activate! In the FSX control settings, since there is no item for "reverse thrust" I have been using "decrease throttle quickly" or something like that. No joy. Then I programmed one of my Saitek throttle buttons to activate the same "decrease throttle quickly" item. Still no joy. I am an owner of a PMDG NGX, and recently purchased the addition 600/700. Prior to this, I was running my 800 with no issues at all with FS2Crew. After installing my new addition, I have noticed that these red lines on my PFD will not turn off, and I cannot seem to coax them off. I've tried several configurations within the FMC, none have turned off the red lines.. The functionality of the PFD stays the same, it will show me everything, but it is getting annoying with the obnoxious red lines in flight.. John Downing

Somehow when I was re-configuring the NGX 700 for use in Southwest Virtual Airline flights, I lost the vertical Chevron bars in the PFD! I am sure there is some little setting in the PMDG setup menu(s) but stupid me, I can't seem to find it. If anyone has a quick path to the setting within the menus to turn that back on, I'd be very appreciative!

Hi, is there any solutions for the problem that textures of NGX goes lost after changing window size of FSX. aircraft is not more flyable due to the reason that you can not identify anything from the cockpit or anything else from FSX.

Hi all I have a small issue ... When I move my joystick (Saitek ST290 pro) in VC in PMDG NGX 737-600, then follows my view with. It is the same as if I turn my head. Therefore it's difficulty controlling the aircraft on the ground, especially when I have to swing into the gate and park the aircraft. Is there anyone who has experienced the same and as for a solution for it? Cheers! Dennis

Good morning, I have developed a new problem that seems to only exist on the 737-700. As I enter a flight plan as I have always done, it does not appear to be calculating my VNAV rate of ascent to my cruise altitude. I have done multiple plans and restarted FS after my entry. Any ideas?

Hi, I have build a new PC with the I7-4770K and Asus Z87-Pro and have some problem with the sound. I am using the very new Update 2013 soundset from Steve but i feel the sounds is very distant (for instance trim-wheel ) and not up-front and close as it used to be. I have a 2.1 setup (front speakers and a sub) and have realtek 5.1 setup because of the bass management. If have checked the manual and setup/checked the standard setup. What have i missed ? Has it something to do with the 5.1? Cant remember my old settings :-) Thanks Michael Moe

Hello - I am starting to use real world routes from Flight Aware but I am having some confusion when entering the filed route into the RTE page on the FMC. For example: I wanted to fly from KLAX to KSAN - the filed route on Flight Aware is LAXN42. I enter LAX into the first line (top right). Then when I try to enter N42 on the next line the FMC tells me invalid entry or not in database. Any help or explanation with this would be very helpful. Thank you!

Hi.. I have an issue adjusting the elevator trim. I load up the 737-800NGX WL (startup state = NGX DEFAULT) and the trim is set to 4.0. In FSX control settings I have it set so that buttons 12 and 11 on my CH yoke adjust the elevator trim up and down respectively... it works fine in default aircraft but in the NGX pressing button 11 is not having the desired effect i.e. I cannot reduce the trim value. Increasing the trim value with button 12 works fine. I've tried different key and joystick assignments but to no avail - trimming up works, trimming down doesn't. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm new to this site but I've come here to get some help with a real issue that's bugging me. I've recently bought the pmdg 737 and I think its a great simulation, however every livery I install from the website I end up getting a very buggy aircraft with the main issue being every time I turn on the dc battery switch I get this horrible irritating clicking sound which lasts the whole time and I know its not suppose to be there because the original livery from pmdg doesn't have it. Also some of the lights don't work either or are very inconsistent on any of the liveries downloaded. Its a real problem because I haven't spent money on this product just to fly around in …

Hi Guys Could I seek advice, using my new PMDGNGX, for whatever reason and at variable times I get "Fatal Error" messages when I navigate around Aircraft and the flight cuts out and i'm rerturned to the FSX flight download page. I'm running the FSX in Administrator have my UAC to the lowest level i'm not running FSX in the default file I'm using FSX Gold Edition with Accelerator Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU Intel i 5 4670 16GB Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Hard Disk SSD 120GBS Any advice most apreciated Richard (Nagoya)
